We really wanted to love this place because one of our friends highly recommended it. We went with another couple friend and it seemed like the service was slow at first. There were only 2 waiters and place was pretty full. This was about 4 to 5 weeks ago and on a Saturday night. We ordered calamari which was really good and it came out after 45 hours of us sitting down. Our food didn't come out to 2.5 hours after sitting down. At first we didn't mind because we were having a good time with our friends. Although wait time was absolutely absurd. However our biggest disappointment came when the food arrived. It was so bland and tasted like hospital food, literally. When I said that out loud everyone agreed. Any how we ate it. At the end of the night we asked the waiter of wait time was normal and we nicely told him how the food was bland. The waiter informed us that the head chef was on vacation so the new chef I guess was nervous about giving the food any flavor. They should've mentioned that while sitting people down that wait time will be longer than usual and food shall be bland bcz the chef is on vacation. The prices were high. We spent 100 bucks on hospital grade food essentially. But even at a hospital the offer you salt and pepper which we weren't offered. The vibe here is nice so maybe go here for a cocktail only but not for food. Not worth it. You're better off driving to Anson 11 or Ambar in downtown, paying the same prices but getting exceptionally good food and service. Will unfortunately not be back ever again.

My family and came here for dinner. The food was delicious. I got the lasagna and it was very good. The only down side is it took forever to get our food. I think we arrived shortly after 6pm and didn't leave till after 8pm. The restaurant only had 4 to 5 other tables occupied. I'm giving 4 stars because the food was great and our waiter looked like he was the only one in the restaurant working. He did a good job although it took a while I don't blame him. I probably wouldn't come back because of the time it took for the price I paid for the meal.

First of all it was my Anniversary and I had called to make reservations because we had other plans for the evening and it took over over 1.5 hrs before I got my dish. That was only because I asked how much longer it was going to take for me to get my dish it was only for two people and everybody else was getting their food. I asked to see if they could do something about it and all they offered was to give me a dessert I asked if they could at least take out the bottle of wine they purchased they said they would talk to the manager however only an ownerCan make those types of decisions I was really disappointed. This is no common restaurant I spent over $130 for two people and they couldn’t provide a better customer service experience. The next day I called to speak to the owner and make a complaint multiple times the owner was not available finally I was able to speak with a manager let them know what my My situation and asked if I could please still speak to the owner they said they would have him return my phone call at his earliest convenience it’s been three days and apparently he still has no time to call back and even offer an apology. Any other restaurant has managers on That can make decisions on staff they don’t need an owner to decide how you can compensate for providing a very unpleasant evening. I even had to cancel my plans did not finish my entire dish and left more than half of the wine bottle left. I have never experienced this type of service from any restaurant and I have gone to this restaurant more than several times a year each year how sad they do not care about their customers perspective

Valentine’s menu was terrible and extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. The menu was not only extremely limited the portions were terrible. The service was fine but could have been far better. When making the reservations there was no mention as to a “Valentines Day” pricing. Extremely overpriced, you can get far better food for far less at many restaurants across El Paso.

I read the reviews of this place and wanted to try it. So I did, last night, 4/15/22. As for my experience, I was highly disappointed. Waiter (Carlos) was not attentive what so ever, very poor service. I ordered an appetizer, Cesar salad and pasta (tomato based sauce with lobster tail). I'm not sure which dish it was, but the inside of my mouth flared up as well as the left side of my lips. I'm never going there ever again. Not worth the price due to lack of service and the lack of taste of the food. That was my experience.

7:30 reservation. Walked in at 7:25. Waited while walk-ins were seated. No waiting area. Just stood in the hallway. Noticed only a couple of tables had food. We get to our table. Appetizer. Carpaccio di Manzo.  The entire plate tasted overwhelmingly like lemon. Beef and lemon is not a good mix. Salad. Caesar. Not Caesar dressing. Tasted like 80% honey mustard and 20% Caesar. Bread came out at this point in the meal. Tables on both sides of us got oil and balsamic to dip. Not us. Noticed the lights were flickering. Entree. Pollo alla Parmiggiana. Lots of food. Chicken tasted good. Veggies just steamed. Not even salt and pepper. Ravioli all’ Astice. 8 ravioli. Wife said even Olive Garden is better. Sauce was pretty good though. Water stayed empty. Skipped dessert. Went to a bar instead. $136 before tip.

What more to say of this Italian restaurant other than the word, perfection! This is a diamond on El Paso's Westside. From the time you call to make a reservation to the end of your meal, you are treated with the best hospitality in the restaurant industry. A commendation for Jonathan is in order for his superb professionalism, people skills and great sense of humor! Ask for him by name. And last but certainly not least is the best Italian food chef in the city, Cosimo. This gentleman is a magician when it comes to his cuisine and featured items. I personally shook his hand to thank him for a wonderful meal; I had the lamb medium rare and it is my go to dish whenever I visit home. Make this restaurant a priority for an evening you won't forget! Hasta Luego to the great staff at Mi Piaci!

Amazing dining experience. The music and the service from the waiters is top notch. I had the pistachio pesto creme pasta that comes with Shrimp. The crunchiness of the pistachio with just the right flavor from the sauce. Quality home made pasta. Definitely recommend this place!

I’m surprised I’ve never been here! I always pass it thinking about going and I’m glad I finally did. I will say that the restaurant itself is definitely different, has a weird smell in the building, I think because it’s an old building. The service was not AMAZING in the beginning, took a long time to get our drink order and it felt like they had a sudden rush and servers didn’t seem prepared, but it did get better, and honest everything went fine once they got their flow. The spaghetti Bolognese is out of this world, the sauce is so rich I couldn’t believe it, and that’s what we ordered for my 3 year old. We ordered bruschetta and carpaccio as a starter, they both were very delicious! The olive oil they use is definitely straight from Italy, so bold and flavorful. The carpaccio was not cold and at room temperature exactly how it should be. For main course we had the scallops with amaretto sauce and the tilapia with the chipotle sauce. Again, everything was very good and delicious the portions are great and I would definitely recommend. Also, the limoncello martini was So Good! You have to try it here. I will definitely be back, the food was delicious and I can’t wait to try other dishes on their menu!

I had heard of this Italian restaurant a few times, mostly commercials. Decided to try it out. The food was very good, actually better than good. I ordered your basic Spaghetti Bolognese, a timeless dish that will test any kitchen; well the presentation was excellent, the dishware was impressive, and the service was attentive to say the least. The meat sauce was succulent and balanced, the pasta was perfectly tender and with just the right firmness. The atmosphere was a bit solemn, which went just right with the mood for the evenings course. Overall, it made for a fine evening. Buona Serata!

I’m not going to lie, the food, the deserts, the drinks, the staff….just Amazing! When i took that first bite, i almost cried of how good it tastes. A definite must try!!! The tiramisu and cappuccino we took to go were sooo good too. From a very satisfied customer in Corpus Christi Tx who critiques food for a living, 😉my sincere compliments to the chef and staff. Thank you!❤️

For an “upscale” place the interior is not nice at all and has an odd odor. My biggest complaint is that my mom ordered a salmon dish and the salmon was not authentic. To someone who is not familiar with the dish it would pass as authentic salmon. The service is also not very well. Upon arrival if you don’t have a reservation no one will acknowledge you. I visited twice because I really wanted to enjoy it. I enjoy Olive Garden dishes over them if you’re craving pasta. The owner is also pretty rude and condescending. I would not recommend

I was visiting El Paso for the day with my mother and this restaurant happened to be near the salon we were going to. We decided to dine during lunch around 12:30 and it was fairly empty. I thoroughly enjoyed the food it had a very good taste and it wasn’t over cooked at all. The waiter was very polite and kept checking on us. If you’re near the area I definitely recommend this spot!

There is absolutely nothing authentic about this place. Overpriced for non-authentic Italian cuisine. I lived in Italy for four years and got to enjoy amazing Italian cuisine, this place is Americanized Italian food. I ordered Tiramisu, I don't know what type of dessert this was... it certainly was not Tiramisu. I told the waiter that this dessert was not a Tiramisu, I was told that it was a non-traditional Tiramisu. Everything about this place is non-traditional.

Very displeased. My husband and I came into the restaurant last night (10-25-19) to have dinner for our anniversary. The lady who greeted us, was nice enough, but asked if we had reservations? We said no, did not know we needed one. We were told they only had high top tables available, and we said ok. Another woman came up and the two started talking amongst themselves, and then the other lady walked away. Saying nothing to us. Stood by a table and just looked at us. She didn't say anything to us, at all. Not even when we got to the table. We sat down and looked over the menus. We were never told that a waiter/waitress would be with us soon, nothing. We sat there for at least 10 minutes with servers and other people walking around, and we were just completely ignored. I find that absolutely appalling. We ended up leaving, because of how rude everyone was. Really sad, because we had been looking forward to eating there. Based on the reviews and checking out the menu...

I came to this place to celebrate my 10th anniversary. The experience was great. The waiter helps me and guide me through the order. My kids are all the food. Portions are adequate. Food is incredibly tasteful. Good decorations. Waiting time was fair. Is an excellent place to celebrate specials events.

Years ago this place was good. Now it's way over priced and quality and service are abysmal. Took a couple of friends two days ago. Food was basic and bland. We spent $186 for what seemed a $30 meal. Service in the small room of 12 tables, only 4 had customers. The four waiters focused on the only table that ordered wine. We actually had to ask for utensils and refills. The "chef" came out and we noted our greivances he said they were short staffed. Maybe one waiter per table??? To top it off the waiter charged my card for the wrong table then came and told me I'd have to wait a week for the charge to reverse. Then he charged me again for our table. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Every single time we visit, the standards are the same. We are always welcomed by Fabian or Carlos. Chef Battaglia and his staff, not only prepares the most delicious meals; he stops by and makes sure everything is as expected. They treat everyone like family. The quality of the food and the presentations are outstanding. Choose any of the items on the menu, you will be amazed.

Symphony in my mouth!! You can taste the cook's years of experience in his food, best Valentine's Day ever. They had a special menu. Food was fantastic as well as the service. Planning to return many more times. Highly recommended. Thank you to Jane our server, you were awesome. :)

Food was delicious, wish the lobster ravioli wasn't out but I will hopefully be able to get it on the next visit. The calamari and both the lobster and shrimp pasta was great. Will definitely visit again.

Made reservations a two weeks prior for my wife and I to enjoy our anniversary some place we have not eaten at, some where that looks romantic, and would have the perfect atmosphere on our special day. When making the reservation, it ask for occasion, which I noted. I kept it a surprise from my wife, wanting our evening to be perfect. Confirmed reservations when the email came a few days prior to our date. Our day came and I get an email stating our reservations were canceled by the restaurant. No reason given, just canceled. I tried contacting them to see why or attempt to keep the reservation, but no answer, like all day. There will not be another attempt to dine at this restaurant, because that is not how you treat guest or potential guest.

We regularly order takeout and food is amazingly consistent as well as delicious. I typically have a small lunch portion left over for the next day which I love. We enjoy the spaghetti bolognese, shrimp diavolo, eggplant, and vodka pastas. The ingredients are fresh and top quality.

Have lived in El Paso for 6 years my wife has lived here for 30 and this is one of the best meals we've had in town. Incredibly authentic delicious menu options and I highly recommend the cafe latte and krembrulee for dessert.

I've been looking for a good Italian place in El Paso for a while. The food is great. The place is definitely a higher end experience, although maybe it needs a little TLC. Our tables were wobbly. The food and servers are with it though.

  • 3/5 Michael B. 8 months ago on Google
Food was subpar not really any flavor. We had the bass and veal. I treat myself once it a while to a high end restaurant with very skilled chefs. This place was high on the price and mediocre in flavor. I would say it was a boogie attempt at fine dining. Service was great. The place could use some more decor and cleaning all the ornaments throughout the dining area are full of dust.

  • 5/5 Kelsi H. 9 months ago on Google
We had such a lovely Italian meal here. All of the pastas are homemade and the rosemary bread was so good. We had the gnocchi and Marsala pastas and both were so savory. The service, however, was even better. Several waiters cater to your table to make sure you have everything you need and that your glasses are always full. The atmosphere is really special and we really loved all of the hanging candles. It’s very romantic. Make sure you dress up a little because this is definitely a date night spot.

My fiance and I visited last night. Amazing high end restaurant in a romantic setting. Yes prices are higher than usual however the food was very well seasoned and the presentation was just like the pictures shown. I had the tilapia and hubs had the ribeye. The portions were filling. I had their version of a sundae for dessert(it was amazing). Would definitely recommend.

I’ve visited on several occasions and have found the food to be quite excellent! It’s worth noting that this is not a budget destination for dining, but the quality of food is well worth the price in my opinion. This is an upscale restaurant, so you may not feel comfortable if you arrive overly casual. I personally prefer the feel of the patio for dining as there is a view of the mountains and it seems more relaxed. This is an excellent choice if you’re in the mood for Italian. Perhaps the best in town.

The food was very very good. Our server... was rough. The ambiance was lacking a bit of final touches to make out a really good experience.
