Flew in from Cincinnati. Walked from my hotel to eat here based on the reviews and pictures. Happy to say was pleased. Food was very tasty, served hot and good size portion. Waitress was pleasant. I would come back if I was back in town.

This is one of the places I miss most about not going to the office downtown. Expect a “dive” appearance and don’t expect to be acknowledged right away. Lol. If you need something, get someone’s attention. You will feast on delicious, authentic Mexican food! The next best thing to the food is the price you will pay. Basic and reasonable ..... and no less better than any of the fancy places in town.

Everyone in El Paso has their favourite hole-in-the-wall Mexican place. This is mine. Good old-fashioned, greatly loved and simple meals are superb. Huevos rancheros, caldo and such are readily available. The decor takes you instantly back to a simpler, easier time. This is the kind of place where you instantly feel nostalgic on entrance. The proprietress is a great and friendly lady. Go and enjoy a simple, filling and delicious old-fashioned Mexican meal at a low price. You’ll be glad you did.

Authentic, delicious Mexican food. I can't pick a favorite meal. Their gorditas are perfect. Chips and hot salsa verde while you wait. The burgers hit the spot and the price is perfect!

Went on Saturday morning and we sat down. Waitress came over did not even say hello or anything she was very rude. She was too busy talking to guys at the bar. No wonder the place was empty will not be back I don't recommend this place.

Best Mexican food hands down. The older lady that works there is the best. She is the grandma we all love to have around. We always take our 2 year old with us and she is great with her. One time we went my daughter had beans everywhere and she came and cleaned up the table and my daughters face and hands just like any great grandmother would do. The first time I went I thought my grandmother was cooking in the back. My wife and I can proudly say we are usual here. We have never had a bad experience. Great food, great people, over all just great.

The food is certainly good. An open menu all day. Wide selection. Looks crappy on the outside. Total hidden gem on the inside as far as food goes. Decent prices. I have gone here a few times.

Food and prices are above decent. If the service was even 1/2 decent I would have given it a 4 star rating. If it was above average could have been a 5 star rating. Perfect example of who you hire is a direct representation of "YOUR" business. You choose whether or not your business makes it or not directly by the hiring 2 stages of employees. Direct and non direct staff, the direct being the staff that has direct contact with customers EX: waiter, cashier, etc. Non-direct staff you really don't see EX: cook, manager etc. So I suppose 5 * on your. Non direct staff, but, 1 1/2 * to 2* for your direct staff. Seems like y'all haven't been able to fill the shoes of the young lady waitress that y'all lost to the restraint that literally opened right around the corner.....
