👍 Not a bad place to eat. A local recommendation, offers both American & Mexican style breakfasts. Solid service, but I wish we were seated a little better. They put us in this little room just to the right of the entrance. It’s very loud when there are multiple parties in there at the same time. Food... Not a bad place to eat. A local recommendation, offers both American & Mexican style breakfasts. Solid service, but I wish we were seated a little better. They put us in this little room just to the right of the entrance. It’s very loud when there are multiple parties in there at the same time. Food took a little while to come out. As soon as we wondered where it was, it showed up. The food was all very tasty, fresh, and properly cooked. All in all, this is definitely a great spot if your looking for good food at good prices.

The New Clock Restaurant in El Paso, Texas, exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The menu offered a delightful variety, and the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The portions were generous, ensuring I left satisfied. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the New Clock Restaurant is a must-visit culinary gem in El Paso.

This place was busy but the server was on her A game. We didn't have to wait long to be seated or for our food. We ordered a few things to try and they were not bad. Overall, would come back for a breakfast special and coffee.

Aloha from da BIGPAKE; bah bah dis place is unrealze.. the full on diner feel with the best Mexican food. What can I say but damn so good. Today I had the Carne Tacos and let's just say I Wolfed down 3 tacos so fast. The meat has so much flavor, I am impressed. The wait staff makes you feel like your at home with quick service as well.

Saw it very early one morning as we were looking for a Dunkin Donuts. I decided that we absolutely had to try it based on the name & look of it! Food was good and in spite of many posts about bad service, our waitress was really good. I did see the waitress with the hat/ponytail that everyone was complaining about. It's an older restaurant, but it's clean & friendly feeling. We got there before the crowd, which was a really good thing! Coffee was good and the serving portions were huge! My son had chilaquilles and I had machaca. Both were good enough to order again. I had to take half back to the hotel because it was so much! My son cleaned his plate! The one thing I didn't like was the queso that came with my dish. I asked for it on the side and was glad I did. It was very thin, more like a soup that had some cheese melting in it. It tasted oddly sweet to me, which I found very off putting. It did have lots of chopped chiles in it, which my son loved & scooped out for his plate. I would recommend getting any queso on the side & see what you think before adding it. I would have hated my dish had the "queso" been on it already. I would definitely come back, next time I drive to El Paso and recommend coming here - just get there before 07:30!

Classic diner atmosphere and food. Extremely busy. Good service. Not a fast food place so be prepared to wait a bit for your food. Food was prepared well with standard Mexican/breakfast flavors.

Got there and immediately was seated. My niece and I actually shared a meal as neither of us was very hungry. They serve large portions so pretty much anything you get can be shared. Food is delicious and well cooked. Definitely worth going to. Staff was also friendly and very attentive.

Upon visiting with family they took us to their "home town" diner. It's what you'd expect in that essence....not fancy....not modern....just the place where families have come for years it seems like. The menu options are vast and the food comes with good sized portions for sure. I love that instead of toast you can option for tortillas...that's always a plus in my books. When you ask for tea...you don't just get a glass you also get the pitcher! We had seating for 6 within moments of walking in and enjoyed our time.

I love the new clock! It has a southern flare with Mexican pizzazz. I personally missed Waffle House and a lot of southern breakfast foods like southern fried steak with gravy and grits. They actually really surprised me with the good quality and good pricing of their food. The staff is always friendly and the food always good. I think my only complaint is just during the summer time it can get a little warm inside.

This place and I have some history, my ex and I used to go here, a lot, so I was unsure about going back, not knowing what memories it would drag up. Let's just say, nothing of importance. Now that I'm done with the history, it was as good as I remembered. The food is fast, tasty and inexpensive. The only complaints I have are a general lack of salt, but that seems to be an issue with a lot of places, and more than once getting undercooked hash browns, they were raw potato crunchy. Service is hit or miss, depending on the server. Since it's only me, I generally sit at the bar, and on occasion have felt forgotten. Some servers I never see the bottom of my coffee cup until I leave, and others, I have to ask for even 1 refill. There is a weird diner atmosphere here, although they have some really cool clocks up on the walls. It's a bit dated, and could use a fresh coat of paint, but not bad overall. This has become my usual go to place when I'm out for breakfast, and I don't see that stopping in the near future.

We ordered a grilled cheese, cheeseburger, enchiladas, and chicken tacos. The cheese wasn’t even melted. The fries weren’t even hot. I m assuming the thing on my plate was from the onion, even though I didn’t have anything with onion. To get served coffee took a long time. Definitely not the best visit.

Food was good. I did a bacon omelette and pancakes. Came to brunch on a Saturday. Restaurant was busy, which you’d expect…. So our waitress was a little slow and didn’t check in too much on us. Luckily, other servers walked by and checked in on us. The ladies who clean the tables were constantly busy and making sure tables were cleaned off quickly. I do recommend the restaurant but just want sure you’re okay waiting if you come on a Saturday.

Good fresh food at a fair price, I would recommend this spot. I really enjoyed how friendly and accommodating the waitresses were during my visit. They also have something on the menu for every budget from breakfast specials to juicy hamburgers. Greeted with a smile, chips and salsa you can't go wrong. Good job New Clock!

Came to New Clock Restaurant for lunch with my husband. He had previously visited their establishment with his co-workers and said their food was good so I was down to try them out as well! They definitely give off that old diner type of vibe. We must have arrived at a non-peak time because there was no one there. But I’m not complaining since we were seated right away. Service was decent. Our waitress came around to get our order but was pretty much non-existent other than that. I ordered the combo #2 which came with a taco, enchilada and Chile relleno. They also brought out free chips and salsa! I didn’t really expect much from them, I’ll say the salsa definitely tasted like it was from a jar and the chips were cold. But I didn’t mind since it was free anyways. As for the meal, I was a bit disappointed. I’ve never had Chile relleno before so I don’t know if my expectations were off but it didn’t taste too good. The whole plate kind of lacked in flavor. It could have benefited from a bit of salt. Everything was, for the most part, bland. I had to add the salsa onto my dish to get some flavor into it. I do realize that maybe they don’t specialize in Mexican cuisine and I should have just ordered a breakfast item. If I do come back to give them a second try I’d just avoid the Mexican food items on their menu and go straight for the breakfast.

Feels like a diner from the 1950's.....it might be close to that age. Older gentleman still working the line, maybe the original owner?? Very charming spot that caters to anyone looking for comfort food anytime of the day. Service was a little slow...it took 45 min from sit down to food arriving. Extremely reasonably priced menu. The $3.11 breakfast platter is a fabulous deal! Some of the best breakfast burritos I've had in El Paso...lots of veggies and flavor.....I recommend adding beans. This place is packed...and I understand why: great value, great tasting food, with a lot of grandma's house charm.

This place is amazing. The food is wonderful. The atmosphere is really nice, but it can be slightly crowded at times, which only means the food is awesome, ya know? Their menu is truly unique by listing all of their prices as a 24-hour time, which I find adorable being military affiliated. My first dine in experience, I ordered the french toast, which serves a very large portion. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck, but the taste of the cuisine was surprisingly delicious. The french toast tastes like cinnamon buns, which was a delight. My second dine in experience, I tried scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. Amazing bacon; thick-cut and cooked to perfection, but I was most impressed with the toast. It has to be toasted on the grill. The taste and crispy crunch are on point. I highly recommend this place for those in the local El Paso area, visiting or living nearby because it is worth it. Yes, we will be back for a third outing soon enough.

It was very busy which is awesome. You seat yourself and then your server comes. Our server was awesome. As for the food the eggs were the only thing perfect. Everything else was undercooked. Coffee was burnt and my toast was a soggy and greasy. I pretty much gave my hubby my meal. I'll have to come back and try the dinner service.
