I am not one to leave a bad review, however I believe what happened at the Remcon location was bad enough to make this my first one. Not only was the food terrible at the Remcon location, the service received was horrendous. We placed a to go order of chicken tortilla soup, made sure it would come with the toppings and asked for salsa on the side after being told some was not included. Once we got there, the pick up area was unattended. After a while we paid and left and upon checking the order in the parking lot, we noticed there were no salsas. Had to go back in to request the forgotten salsas after another five minutes waiting for the bartender to return. They provided a container about a centimeter tall, not even half full with salsa. We let this slide and went home to enjoy our soup, only to find one measly strand of chicken and some carrots in the “chicken tortilla soup”. It’s crazy that you literally have to check the product in the parking lot to avoid this in the first place, but it gets worse. Once we returned to being this to the manager’s attention and request either a fixed soup or a new soup, we were met with full condescension. Unfortunately we were too upset to take down her name, however it was the manager on shift on Monday night on January 3rd. After explaining the situation, she made it a point to mention the order does not come with salsas, despite us having specifically asked for some to be included when placing the order. Shouldn’t things be included when a customer orders them? Not sparing the attitude, the manager agreed to replace the soup. Due to the level of disrespect received for something that was their fault in the first place, we were not comfortable they would not do something bad to our order so we went and requested a refund. As of it weren’t already bad enough, the manager shorted us and only gave us $8 for an order we paid $9.75 for. Two attempted thefts, chicken tortilla soup with no chicken and incorrect refunded amount. Needless to say we will think twice about ever ordering here to go again. On top of it, calling over servers to “guard” them as if we were making a big scene and only being reasonably upset was a little exaggerated. Absolute terrible example of a manager and service. Make sure you check everything in the parking lot!

Always hot, tasty, and fresh. I love this place. I've never had anything that wasn't good but my favorite are their enchiladas! I come here and get them every time. Reasonable prices and good service mean this place is always on my favorites list.

Food at this restaurant is usually good. They have a two for one promotion going on. The breakfast was good, but service was lacking. Took about 5 minutes to seat us, another 5 minutes for someone to take our order. Took another 5 minutes to get coffee. If you have the patience to wait, this place is worth it, but lack of customer service may keep me away, no matter how good the food or special is.

This place serves one of my favorite tortilla soups. It is hearty, flavorful, and loaded with chicken. It’s a little spicy but absolutely delicious. They also have delicious flautas and ice cold beer. They do have a bar so they offer cocktails, there’s different specials throughout the week. The service is usually good but there’s been times when we waited for drinks for over 20 minutes. Prices are a little high but the food is good. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, it’s good for families, larger groups, or even a relaxed date night.

Mole and chicken! Incredible dish...check out Carnitas Queretaro! Couple that with awesome service...this is the place to dine at! While here, enjoy an ice cold beer, a margarita or a tequila shot as their bar is fully stocked. Enjoy!

I liked this place. Nice vibe and aesthetic. Salsa with the chips was spicy and I enjoyed it. Drink was good and I tried the pork adobada. I liked it, good flavor and spice. Among the best heat element in El Paso Mexican restaurants. The bathrooms need more attention, but this was a good restaurant.

Certain items are better than others. Green sauce is amazing. Red sauce is ok. Real authentic type food. Don't expect cheesy fat grease American Mexican food. The picture says it all.

They have great margarita specials. Some flavor combinations I’ve never heard of. I have Enchiladas Suisas and my wife had the Chicken Burrito. I enjoyed mine! Great service.

Giving this two stars because I have come here every week for the past three months and never had an issue. Today I went to eat with my grandmother and we both ordered our usual red chilaquiles. I was almost finished with my food when I bit down on a piece of glass the size of my thumb. I signalled the waitress and she was very kind and concerned. The manager, however, did not act with the same kindness. She just told me that there was no way it could have been glass as she held it in her hand and told me it must have been plastic. I told her regardless it was dangerous and she told me everything was fine and that she checked in the back and there was no way that glass could have gotten into my food.

Service was amazing. Our waiter Doug was impeccable; servicing a group of 40 is no small feat. The food was great considering the limited menu for a funeral service reservation. Green enchiladas were the most flavorful.

I dined in, and as I walked in, I was greeted and seated right away. The waitress was very nice and took care of me and my family, getting us our food and drinks immediately. The food is delicious and the Micheladas, Margaritas and the drink by name El Fidel, are superb!! I have visited again and plan to go a lot more!!!

There was a 25 minute wait for a table so I sat at the bar since I was by myself. Service was great of the three items on the Plato Mexicano the taco was the best.

Carnitas Queretaro Mexican Restaurant is another nice establishment focusing on Mexican fare. It is located near Remcon Circle by the Spring Hill Suites and Fairfield Inn and Suites, both Marriott properties. We arrived on a Monday night around 8 p.m. Perhaps because of the lateness of the hour, there was plenty of seating available. We were promptly shown to our table and shortly served drinks (horchata and water). While making our decisions from the menu, we were served tortilla chips with a green pepper sauce and a very spicy salsa, both of which were quite tasty. The chicken tortilla soup was amazing, with a rich, spicy red broth and pieces of tender chicken. Two separate bowls -- one with tortilla strips and another with mozzarella cheese and avocado -- were provided to add as necessary. The beef enchiladas were also delicious. One could choose from the red or green sauce (I chose the former), and either chicken, beef, or shrimp. I went with the beef, which turned out to be a good choice. The enchiladas were generously stuffed, and had a sprinkling of cheese on top. The plate came with a side of rice and refried beans. The Enchiladas Suizas was also a smart pick. The dish consisted of three rolled chicken enchiladas with a creamy tomatillo sauce, topped with sour cream and avocado. One can also choose from a side of rice, refried beans, or charro beans. Carnitas Queretaro Mexican Restaurant is a great place for local cuisine. Although the service was great initially, it did taper off a bit as we waited for the bill. Nevertheless, it was a satisfying meal and worth the visit.

Bought a $5 chile relleno burrito and got this. Not even an entire chile. For $5 this is ridiculous. Update: Chile did not even have cheese. This is not the first review that states this.

Being raised in Mexico, there's nothing like going to a restaurant that has authentic Mexican food. Carnitas Querétaro is definitely the place. It's delicious and has a great staff with great customer service. Definitely recommend!

Food was good. Service was disappointing, Axel the waiter had to be flagged down for us to get refills. I felt we were ignored based on how we were dressed, sweats and sweatshirts. Another family came in and he promptly took their order, made sure they had refills often, were offered dessert, and he came and checked on them often. He did the same at the other table he was waiting on. He came took our order, delivered our order but did not come again, not even to give us our check!!! After waiting more than 20 minutes for our check, we decided to just go to the front and pay there.
