We had a good experienced, besides the rude hosts (reason I took away a star), everything else was perfect. We went there because of the chipotle alfredo pasta, didn't disappoint at all. We started with the spinach dip, we've tried many, and so far its on our top 5, if they had served it with pita chips instead of tortilla chips it would've been in our top 2. The chicken tortilla soup looks small, but it does fill you up really good. The corn didn't wow us, but it was good, just a head up, its a huge portion for just 1 person, comes with 2 corns cut in half. We finished our course with the peach bread pudding, delicious! The Guava drink is amazing, highly recommend. Our waitress was nice.

Reservation recommended on busy nights, but you might get lucky. Our 1.5 hour wait became five minutes. Not sure how that worked. Service was great. Staff were attentive and friendly. Every dish was fantastic, from the beer to the nachos to the steak to the cake. Never had nachos with steak in it but can't eat nachos any other way now. Dry-aged steak was tender, juicy and full of flavor; temp was perfect; 36oz is damn huge. Lobster was typical, just added to steak dish. Cake slice was massive, so made five normal slices of it.

From the outside to when you first walk in, the aesthetics are just beautiful. 5 stars for that alone. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating with our party of 8. Sure we had to wait a little because we had a big party, but everything came out in a reasonable time. The steaks were really great and fulfilling. All the steak dinners come with a baked potato, everything else is ala carte. Yes it’s pricey but definitely worth going to at least once. The wait was very minimal even for our large party of 8.

Can't really provide a review of this place as a steak house or chop house. Didn't try to steaks. There is an attainable option but most options are expensive and we are all trying to save. We did get burgers though. They were juicy with good quality meat and ingredients. I would have liked it with more spices for it to be less bland but no major complaints. They were cooked to the requested temperature. Fries were tasty. I will come back to try some of them steaks. The place is clean with cool decor. Service was good. Parking is limited.

We had a very large party and they only had one waitress (Andrea, and she was great honestly) serving us for the first hour or so and they were running behind, which made it even harder on her. Instead of them letting us know up front that they were limited on staff and delayed serving they waited for us to ask and one of the waitresses added later responded with an attitude several times when we asked for things. We weren't even offered water and didn't get to order until 2 hours in and when the food was coming out silverware, side dishes, and drinks were missing. The food and drinks however were amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection! And we tried a variety of dishes.

We really enjoy the food and atmosphere. The Tortilla Soup is one of my favorites. The service is always good too! I have ordered to go lately and the process is simple. They even offer curbside at the moment which is super convenient.

The service was exceptional. We were put on the wait list, but it was worth it. I enjoyed everything we ordered. The Ceasars salad was delightful, the bread was hot when it arrived to our table. I enjoyed the Mexican street corn as much as the mashed potatoes. I did give 4 stars because of the temperature of the meat, upon arrival, it was warm, not hot. I felt this could have given 5 full stars for the food. Multiple parties were celebrating birthdays, it was a great atmosphere. I will be coming back, if I ever in the area again.

I'm very particular about steaks, and this place delivered! We stopped in on a Thursday night and were seated promptly. The wait staff was attentive and the food was prepared quickly. The steaks were cooked to perfection and cut like butter. The baked potato had a nice salt crust and came loaded. The decor was modern and inviting. It's a good spot for a date night.

So I want to thank Elizabeth for her sweetness, and kindness. Also how she helped with menu selection. This is an amazing place that only makes you wonder damn it so good and a great price.

Very nice restaurant with great wait staff! The dry aged beef was amazing, burger was juicy and the appetizer was tasty.

The service was adequate, the Mac and cheese burger was not to our liking, the ribeye was cooked fine, but lacked flavor. Probably won’t return. The owner did contact me, he was very polite, and accepting of responsibility. Impressive. Maybe I should give them another chance.

I will say first, the steak was freaking delicious and the potato was huge. Great place to watch a game 3 large TV’s at the bar. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is you can see In the salad picture I posted they put the dish of ranch on top of my salad. Who knows where else that dish was sitting. I understand I’m eating out of a dish but I don’t like the bottom of another dish on top of the food I’m going to eat. Might be something to think about going forward.

A really comfortable atmosphere. - elevated but still casual. Good service, I think his name was Josh? I was mostly impressed with the prices. Not many chophouses offer $4 beers and $7 cocktails. Steaks are not over priced either. Bread was fresh and hot but the butter had a peculiar taste. Dry aged ribeye had some good bites but also some bad ones. I didn’t like the spinach dip either.

The food here is amazing! We had some of the aged meats and we don’t regret it! We also had the dessert and it was so good! Service is very good as well. We like the place so much that we make 4 hour trips from another state to eat here! I can’t wait to go back!

The food tastes great, however I'll never eat here again after seeing all the cross contamination from the kitchen staff. They were handling cleaning rags and then steaks, then sweep the floor, then prep food and never change gloves. Not all were wearing gloves. Thanks but no thanks. Over 45 minutes waiting on our order, they were at 50% occupancy...?

I am astonished by the incredible staff and the friendly service. The food was delectable and extremely well made. It was noticeable that the meat was premium, and was cooked to perfection. The tres leches cake was also very delicious.

Hello my name is Pamela and I placed an order for pick up during this whole quarantine. I was extremely pleased by the young girl who took my order. When answering she said her name was Andrea. I asked her for her last name upon finishing the order it’s Andrea R and I just wanted to inform whom it may concern, management, corporate, or even just customers that she had amazing customer service skills that are very hard to find now days. The food here is delicious, but even if it weren’t I’d still call an order again with the way I was treated/greeted by her throughout the entire phone call! People like this should be recognized! Feeling pleased!

We went in for lunch on 2/13. We had never been there befor. Me, my Husband and 9 year old went in and they asked us how many people. We told them three and they proceeded to try to sit us in a two person tiny table(pic attached). We asked if we could sit in a booth and they reluctantly said yes. The food was pretty expensive. Probably because of the yuppie decor(again pic attached). My son and I were sharing a steak and added a skewer of shrimp. They brought it and my son took a bite of a shrimp at the same time I did. Now, I do like spicy but at this point my mouth was burning! My poor sons was worse. My husband asked to have Mac cheese instead of a potato and the waiter said there would be a small up charge. Ok fine. When we got the bill, not only did my husband NOT get his potato but the “small up charge” was the full price of a side order! I don’t want anyone in trouble for not wearing masks(we are completely against them!), but if they think making their employees wear them is doing ANYTHING at all, think again(pic attached)! Let your staff breathe!! While the steaks were very good, doubt we will be back. Lunch for two was $70.

Our waiter was very attentive. We came to try the roasted bone marrow and it did not disappoint. The bone in rib eye was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We will definitely be returning the next time we come to El Paso

Best steakhouse I've ever eaten at hands down. We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident but were extremely happy we did and have been twice during our stay in el paso while visiting from Florida. Their prices are extremely reasonably for the wonderful drinks and food. Our server each time was attentive, friendly and made our experience wonderful. Wish I could eat here regularly.

The sterling silver premium dryaged Bone in Ribeye was the best. I used to be a fan of Ruths chris but these guys have them beat for sure.

Steak was excellent and I will definitely be back to try the dry aged meat since they were already out today. Mac and cheese was a bit lacking but everything else tasted very good. All in all, it was a very nice experience.

It was getting late when we got back from New Mexico and we really didn’t want fast food. My best friend suggested this place so we said why not. I was a little worried that we might be underdressed but it wasn’t too bad. Yes we may have been slightly under dressed but nevertheless they treated us the same. As I said it was a little maybe one hour before closing and I hate to dine in at places like that because I understand how the kitchen works. But this place was awesome. They say my family and I in quite section and the server was friendly and fast. We never ate here before so I asked for her suggestions and we tried what she suggested. Everything was delish and the sides were so good! I did feel that m onion rings had a lot of grease but man they tasted so dang good. The bread and butter was nice. It tasted like they maybe added sugar to the butter. Not like Texas Roadhouse but still sweet. The prices were actually extremely fair! I mean for the environment and ambiance I would’ve thought it was more. It definitely makes me want to visit again. Next time I will dress up and go on a date. Overall very happy with the taste, atmosphere and prices. A+

Hands down best steak I’ve had in a long time that I didn’t make myself. The 12oz NY Strip was cooked perfectly, huge baked potato, the rice was good also. My only complaint was to our server, Adam. He wasn’t very attentive even after I told him our visit was due to a special occasion. But other than Adam, and the parking lot craziness, it was a great experience.

First time visiting West Texas in El Paso! The atmosphere alone is reason to visit. The whole vibe is just fun. The nachos we ordered for the appetizer were amazing! Best thing by far! Our waiter was very attentive and suggested great options off the menu for us. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it wasn’t bad but not great. My salad did come out after my meal which was slightly disappointing. Our waiter made up for it with a cheesecake togo for us though! Thanks for the great service Ursus!

First time here, we are Just passing through Texas. Everything was super delicious and well plated. It was extremely busy but staff was friendly and food came out faster then i thought. Looks like a popular place but wanted to help provide some food photos. The Food was cooked beautifully. We got the porterhouse, tomahawk pork chop with Chipotle mashed potatoes, brisket burger and mac n cheese burger. I got the street corn, the sauce was delicious spicy, and only complaint out of eveything on the table the shrimp skewer was way to salty. Definitely recommend stopping by, they checked all our boxes for a very nice meal out.

Came here on a Friday Night for dinner. Wasn’t busy so we were seated within minutes. Large seating area, room for really large groups. Great atmosphere, the tree in the middle of the restaurant was very pretty. Server was nice, but service was just a bit slow for a place that wasn’t super busy. Got the tomahawk steak 🥩. Very impressive. I ordered it medium but it come out closer to well done than medium well. Still delicious. Wasn’t all that impressed with the onion rings or the Mac and cheese but the salad was tasty. Had a large wine menu.

Oh my gosh! I wanted a good local steak. I was told that the Chophouse was the place. Well, they were so correct. I ordered a 12 oz. New York steak, cooked medium with rice. I barely needed a knife to cut this meat. I even enjoyed the fat on the cut. It was a heavenly experience. My server was awesome as well. Her name is Jocelyne. She made my dinning experience so enjoyable. She is a very sweet young lady. This one gets a 2 thumbs up! Oh, and the Texas size Oreo cheesecake, just look at it, need I say more.

Visiting in the area and searched for steak restaurant. The reviews for this restaurant were good, so I decided to try one of their steaks. Their menu claims they serve “sterling silver premium meat”. I ordered a 16oz ribeye. A baked potato is included with all steaks, which I did not want. I asked to substitute asparagus expecting an up charge, and I was informed that If I want asparagus I have to buy it as a side ($10). I asked what I could substitute, and a Cesar salad was one of the choices. But at an additional fee. So I ordered that. When the dinner arrived it had both, the Cesar salad AND the asparagus. My fault, I probably was not clear. Unfortunately, the asparagus was overcooked and dried out. The salad was tasty and good. The steak was VERY ordinary, For being premium meat, “the finest in the region” I found myself trimming sinew, white skin and fibrous fatty pieces. I left a pile of trimmed meat I would not eat. Let me be clear, generally premium ribeye steaks are nice and fatty, which is delicious. If you eat a true prime steak there is NOTHING left in the plate. This ate like a select or choice cut of meat. And as you can see from the picture, this was not cooked Pittsburg, no charring. It looks like they fried it on a skillet. I sat at the bar, service was quick and very pleasant, but the food was lacking. I could have rated it 3-stars, but because the salad was good and the meat that was edible was tasty, I scored it a four. But I will not be back as there are other options for steak in El Paso, hopefully better.

This restaurant was really close to my hotel 🏨 and to the El Paso airport ✈️ and was absolutely perfect 👌for my needs 🙂🙃! Since I was a solo traveler and because I anticipated that it would be pretty packed by the time I set foot 🦶 there for dinner 🍽️, I decided to order my dinner ahead of time for pickup 😃! The staff was super friendly and courteous ☺️! And they promptly brought my food out 🛍️ right when I came in to pick it up 😃! It’s a good thing 👍 I ordered ahead because there was no seating available the evening I came by to pick up 😳. Not even a single seat was open at the bar 🍷🍹🍸🍻 . I would definitely ❤️ to stop in again 🥰, with or without company 😃! The ambiance 😌 is really nice and casual for great conversation 💬! And it’s perfect 👌 to eat there on your own, or with friends and family 🙂! I only found out after I had ordered there that my sister held her birthday dinner 🎂 😋there back in 2018 😆! Great minds 🧠 🤔 think alike 😜😜! We will definitely be back 😃!

Steak was flavorful and the grill char was on point. Shoutout to Robert for suggesting the carrot cake it was delicious. Ask for the house steak sauce it pairs perfectly with the meats.

This was our second visit and we were definitely not disappointed. The quality of food is outstanding, so we don’t mind paying for the extra attention to detail. Our steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. The portions were just right and the drinks were unique and flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the overall experience. Aside from my dad's own cooking, West Texas Chophouse has the best smoked beef ribs that I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. One of my favorite comfort foods, and these guys know how to do them right. Not many steakhouses and barbecue joints offer beef ribs, preferring just pork for some reason, but the Chophouse does, and they smoke them puppies real good. If you're in the area and looking for some real good smoked barbecue, this is the place to go. To the staff: watch out, because I might be tempted to steal your spice rubs ;D

We were shown to a dirty table (this is pandemic time, so not a great first impression). Then we waited. And waited. And waited. We called the hostess. Then we waited some more. We finally gave up and walked out. For the prices these guys charge and the type of customers they want to target I suggest focusing on some training for your employees to make sure guests are at least acknowledged while there. There’s nothing more disappointing than going into a place prepared to spend more than normal for excellent service and atmosphere. Also the seats in the booth are super uncomfortable. I wish I could have tasted the good or met any of the wait staff. Unfortunately I was never given the chance. Sorry chop house you dropped the ball with us and I wish I had more to say other than there was plenty of parking.

Beautiful inside and the food was great. I never had a 12 oz. Steak that was actually that big and juicy. We loved it. The Mexican corn was corn on the cobs with Elote stuff on top. Delicious.

It was okay. My fillet mignon had very little taste, but was cooked as I asked. Their charro beans are not charro beans, just beans and a little beacon. Service was good. Needs some music to liven up the place.

The meat has excellent seasoning , very tender and cooked perfectly to order. Jose (Joe) was the perfect server, very attentive. If you order a salad and add sirloin as a topping, make sure you tell them how to cook it or it will be served well done. Also, the baked potato that comes with every steak was tasty but a greens option would be nice (& healthier). I will return to try their burger. I do recommend this place.

Wow, what a delight to eat here, the bone in rib eye was mind-blowing. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, tender and carni heaven. Paired with a busy Malbec, just so satisfying. This place is a master class in restaurants. Few restaurants that have all these bells and whistles can deliver like this. On par with Smith & Wolenski, or Keens, or maybe even Peter Luger. Absolutely impressive! Thank you to an absolute fabulous meal.
