Unfortunately, this location seems to be having staffing problems. They informed us at the start of our dinner that service and food were going to be slow, which we were ok with. But 2 people in our party ended up getting food poising, which is completely unacceptable for a restaurant of this price. Skip this place

We were in a tight time frame and Felix the manager promises and came thru with us having fast service. The Blackened Sea Bass was terrific.

Great Service!! Starting with the Valet Parking Gentlemen, the hostess, the Manager and the Bartender (Rodrigo). They all made me feel like at home. Food was great too!!! Came out in minutes from submitting my order and flavor was excellent! If you want to enjoy a good steak in an amazing environment visit Corralito!

Went for lunch meeting with family. Was very disappointed in the service. I had to ask for tostadas (which were super salty), at the beginning after having to wait for drinks. Waited well over half hour for food and more refills. Empanadas were delicious. But main course meat was not as good. Too much nerve meat in the tacos. I also asked for dessert churros, which were awesome last time I was here. However our waiter dropped them on the floor and only ended up with only one. :( still paid full price and did get new ones. Overall an unfortunate experience. Ps. Parking super bad!

Such good service!!! Called the day before to try to place an order and the manager Felix was such a delight to speak to! He was super attentive to every little detail of the order and best of all he had it ready at the desired time i requested! Best service hands down!

So, this is my longest review.. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I never saw this coming. You walk in and it looks stunning. Decorations. Huge Wine cellar, fire place, great high ceilings. The view inside this restaurant is beautiful. Think air bnb mansion for the weekend. I had never been, but was invited to a family dinner and so I showed up. Reluctantly. I ordered: porter house medium rare, with bone marrow and a loaded baked potato. My wife- fish tacos with a chipotle mayo sauce My daughter - mini steak burgers with fries Total wait time was 1.5 hours (an hour and a half) 30 minutes to be seated Total wait time 2 hours This place wasn’t busy at all. There were empty tables everywhere. Prices are high. I don’t mind, just back it up with quality food. I’ll pay $150 for a steak if it taste like $150 worth of flavor and provides a $150 experience. 2 hours later everyone’s food arrives. Everyone’s food was incorrect. I didn’t get bone marrow and during the waiting period the waiter did not come by and apologize for not having it nor did he make an effort to recommend something else. My wife got dry a** tacos and we had to ask for a side of chipotle mayo that should have gone on the taco to begin with. I found out 15 minutes after getting my food because I asked, “how much longer on the bone marrow?” He replied with, “we ran out” but his tone implied that I should’ve known they were out. I waited 2 hours in a not so busy place and waiter was rude about the bone marrow. Whatever maybe I’m being over critical. We finish our meal. It was ok. I could have brined my own porter house for 6 hours and cooked a better steak. But again, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. Now this is where I lost it. My total was $97.17 I handed him $80 in cash and assumed he would charge me $17.17 on my Amex. Simple right? No. At least for them He brings me a receipt charged to my Amex for $100.09.. versus $17.17.. I’m already been building up from the lack of performance. So I ask the waiter why he charged my Amex $100.09 and kept the $80 in cash as a tip? He said he refunded it and used the $80 to cover the cost. Remember my tab was $97.17.. I owe them $17.17.. anyways He disappeared for 20 minutes. I asked another waiter to get my waiters a** back to my table and give me my money back. He arrives shorty after. I ask for my $80 back he tries to explain and I don’t let him and he hands it back. On my way out the manager.. instead of coming to my table to explain things. He just stood by his computer the whole time. No accountability. No ownership taken as the head of the business. Nothing. Again. Maybe I’m being too critical. Manager says that he charged me (waiter) $100.09 for my meal and gratuity. Then cancelled it. Took the $80 to pay for my meal. On the surface I saw $100.09 on my Amex app and $80 in cash for $180.09 total. Manager couldn’t provide me with proof of refund and his story wasn’t adding up. I looked at the manager.. I asked him If I was charged $100.09 on my card. Then gave $80 in cash we’re at $180.09 correct? He said yes then proceeded to say he refunded my card $100.09… So then I ask the follow up question If you refunded me that means I owe you $97.17 correct? He said yes. So then, why would you only take $80 and let me walk out of here without paying $17.17? He froze. This was one of those mic drop moments. So I told him, sign this receipt that it’s refunded. Take my $80, and charge my card $17.17.. This was the first time he acted like the manager when he said, “I’ll cover the $17.17 for the inconvenience” 40 minute dispute, 2 hours waiting to be seated and served.. all the things I mentioned above.. This place has potential but needs real managers that create a culture to provide an experience that meets customers minimum expectations when paying for overpriced food. This place sucks, as of right now. I did receive my $100.09 refund 4 days later. But I will never go there again. Hope this helps.

Great service and good food. The waiter we had was new and did a great job. The ribeye steak wasn't cooked too the specifications we asked so without letting us say no, they removed the plate and made a new one to make it right which was appreciated. They even had valet parking which was nice since the parking lot is on the smaller side. Great place for a date night.

This location on MESA street is a joke. Service was lousy. All the waiters and waitresses look lost and in a hurry. They kept rushing and kept dropping silverware. One kid even played around with the menus and dropped them all on the floor while he was too busy sipping his drink while on the clock and in front of the door. The kitchen staff sounded like a bunch of drunk kids laughing super obnoxious. Also I order a side of shrimp and never made it to my table. I called on the waiter to remind him. After I was done with my steak he brings it out. I said " no I don't want them now. I'm already done eating ". Seriously Corralito looks so fine dining and isn't. Never am I going back. Food is terrible and service is worst. Best part was the valet guy. Very friendly. For Steaks I'll stick to Texas Roadhouse or Great American Steakhouse.

The Weso Steakhouse by Corralito in downtown El Paso, TX was one of the most depressing restaurant and meal I have ever had in the area. The service was extremely slow. After the waitress asked if I would like some more bread, to which I agreed, it was never received. Next, the steak was warm when received and there was no seasoning anywhere on the table. The worst thing about this restaurant was that I had to “PAY A SURCHARGE” when I was utilizing my debit card to pay for the meal. I have NEVER, EVER, been charged a surcharge when using a charge/debit card at a restaurant. Worse yet, the waitress FAILED to tell me about the surcharge when submitting the receipt. I had to go to the waitress and request an explanation as to why there was an increase in my bill. I will never ever go to this place again. Beware of the hidden charges, slow staff, and long wait for service and meal. It’s a shame I cannot put a negative number to this posting.

Corralitos on Mesa street. Our waiter was unprofessional and stopped me on my out and asked why I only left him $7.00 tip! Then I checked my bank account and an extra $10 was deducted! Called to speak to the manager and all she asked was how was the service!! Very fricking unprofessional and will never go back! High priced steak house sucks!!

Hosted a company Christmas party of 19 for 1 pm a month in advance. Our mistake, party was during the World Cup game manager and waiter were busy watching. Needless to say we had all finished our beverages with no refills. Only had one waiter for our group manager did not help. Asked multiple times for a pitcher of water to refill our own cups, waited at least 30 minutes until we went and got the pitcher ourselves. We cleared our bused our own table due to lack of wait staff. We were there for three hours before first course was served, appetizers and meal were cold and salads were wilted and warm. Received no apology from manager instead made us wait and additional 15 minutes asking to pay for the two guests that did not show. By far the worst experience I’ve had at any Corralitos will definitely not be returning.

We love this place. Came twice and left so full and ready to come again. The appetizer sampler had the most delicious mushrooms I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The empanadas on it were also amazing. I would go ahead and get the whole order of those too next time. I’ve had the arrachera - so juicy and the ribeye and both were filling and delicious. Our server Damian, gave us such good suggestions and he made our night special. P.S. I would come here just for the chips and salsa. If they bottled their salsa, they might take over the world.

The appetizers were outstanding and the service was great. The biggest issue was the formatting of the menu. There are pictures that have names under them that are not the food being shown and that caused some ordering confusion. It was easy to confuse one item for another and we did end up ordering an item we didn't want or like. The music was a little odd for the ambiance and I could see it bothering someone just because it wasn't very good and it was kind of loud. The main dishes were decent but not great for the price. The presentation was great but the flavor was severely lacking. I would try it again knowing that this place does have many better reviews but just form my first time there I feel it needs some improvement.

I had a great experience today celebrating my birthday! Our waitress Samantha was very attentive with our food and the drinks were delicious. The manager was also very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and appreciated the service Sam gave us!

The staff were incredibly nice, and as we were preparing to leave, the manager came over to ask us if we enjoyed our food and if there was anything they could improve on. This is the only restaurant that put a small coat rack next to my table for me to hang my purse and cane from. Their beef empanadas were the most amazing thing I have ever eaten. When my daughter and I lamented over the fact that they wouldn't be open early enough to have some for breakfast before our 13 hour road trip the next morning, the waiter gave us some free ones to take back to our hotel. They reheated very well, and we enjoyed them just as much this morning.

I’m not one to really write reviews, but today is a definite exception. I’ve been to all the Corralito locations, but this one is far the best. Since we walked in, we were given phenomenal service. My children must have asked our server for a hundred requests, and she smiled and treated them like big kids! The food! The food was awesome! From the appetizers, through the main dish, through dessert! I didn’t expect to enjoy my food this much. I’m super picky about my steak, and the medium but not medium well, was cooked so perfect, I can’t explain. Seasoning and sear, has just blown my mind! Keep up the good work. Have the cooks, servers, and trainers teach your other locations! I really thought Corralito had lost its touch. Today was an awakening slap in my face! Great job Mesa crew!

I stopped by before concert and had a great time. The margaritas were on special and were delicious. I had the fish tacos and loved them. The servicer was great and I loved that the manager was always on top of the food and service. The best part is the location, we walked to the concert after.

Showed up at 8:55pm and the valet said they were closed already. Hours online say 10pm for Tuesdays. Waste of time. Been coming here for years and it's always great. Not anymore.

Go to the one on Doniphan, way better. My ribeye was as tough as old shoe and the manager didn’t take care of me at all except offer me a dessert. I don’t want a desert, I want a good ribeye!

Horrible experience, went for lunch and almost 2 hours later still no food, when we asked to cancel order still took 15 minutes to charge 2 waters, General manager Jonathan looked like a deer in headlights. He was completely lost and many other tables were also canceling orders due to long wait times. The quality and wait time not only affects this location but also the one on Doniphan, ownership should focus on quality control such a shame this place went from 5 stars to negative stars if it were possible.

So I didn’t review the restaurant before we went. We tried the one on Airway first not busy at all….Forty five minute wait so we drove around and found this one. New management and she came to our table to ask about everything. Great service, food was spot on. Loved the establishment at this location, you would never expect the great atmosphere in a strip mall. I highly recommend giving it a try you won’t be disappointed.

We arrived and nobody greeted us. We sat in the bar area and had to ask for help. Finally had someone come without introducing himself. (Should’ve left at that point) Moved to the bar. New bartender tried her best, but failed to deliver the service you’d expect for the price you pay. Tasty food, but cold. Had to wait for silverware while food sat in front of us. I returned because of the great experience prior. Can’t say the same this time. It was by far the worst experience I’ve had anywhere in months. No apology from ANYONE!

The food is good bur this time a waiter with the name Ricardo was so rude with us , that when we ask to bring some plates to start eat cheese with rajas he ignores us and attend other customers. Later, the same waiter was rude when we ask for the check. Our waiter was away most of the time. Please be kind with all the customers even is not your table, that is the only I ask for!

  • 2/5 Tania L. 2 years ago on Google
We only order appetizers and wine. The wine was good but the food was not. Queso fundido was not warm enough, guacamole wasn't tasty and the tacos we ordered were very simple and not tasty. First and last time.

Without a doubt we had a good afternoon, excellent service and food, the waitress who served us was Alyson and she was always attentive to make sure we didn't miss anything and she was very charismatic, she made me have a nice birthday, the music was perfect and I would definitely come again by Alison
