Great place to chill. Plenty of places to plop down and enjoy the view. Also chess and ping pong tables. Very peaceful at night hearing music from someone's loud speaker and watching scooter people circling the plaza because none are allowed into it.

San Jacinto plaza is a great attraction you have to visit when visiting town or even if you are a local. You can rent a scooter, electric assisted bike, or just walk the plaza and enjoy the lights at night. The plaza is located only a few feet away from El Paso Street and a couple blocks from the international bridge.

I never been downtown but the first time has been such a relaxing time. It is very nasty down town and could use some deep cleaning. Trash is everywhere and some areas smells terrible. Most of the stores appear to be permanently closed but the sitting areas are decent.

Fun family night! Nice lights. Good music and folklorico. Inexpensive food and games considering the event. Free pictures with Santa on a sleigh(long line). The kids always love playing in the horseshoe area. If you got no kids with you, nice bars are close and Anson11 to dine. Beautiful weather tonight.

I enjoyed my quick visit at this Park in the most beautiful interesting and historic part of El Paso. It is clean and security is in site. There was a little café in the park, open late. Many families with kids, couples, tourists and even a group of teens dressed up like they were going to a wedding stopped by with their limo for a photo shoot. It’s not a quiet relaxing oasis where you can connect with nature but still a nice little spot to sit down and regain energy.

You are from out of town do you have to visit this place. Really enjoyed visiting during Christmas. Everything is lit up beautifully. It felt safe. Lots of security and police patrols. Just be careful with the teenagers on the rental scooters acting reckless and zooming throughout. Also a lot of nice bars in the area try out.

This is a nice clean park in El Paso. I walked down many other parts of downtown and this park was by far the cleanest area and best maintained. A working historic clock is also in the park with a plaque showing additional information. There is some seating around the park and a big fountain in the middle. There are also outdoor ping pong tables for public use.

We are from out of state and visiting. Someone told us the lights are beautiful in this park. Parking is not the greatest. When we got out from our car, a homeless man approached us right away. In less that 200 ft another one was asking for some change. Finally we got to the park and sit on the bench and approached again by another guy. We decided not to wait for the christmas lightsl . We were worried of our stuff inside the car.

They have a visitor's center with public restrooms. Great improvement! Beautiful lights and family friendly entertainment. Some of the food trucks are a little overpriced but if you walk around you'll find good deals and good food. Had a great time!

Great summer day fun. The kids love the park area. Playing in the little water splash part, the grass, stopping in TCBY for ice cream. Art museums and fun murals for the kids

Our downtown has some potential, it's feeling somewhat of cosmopolitan ora to it. It's been cleaning up and very family oriented place. The surrounding hotels, restaurants and clubs give it a rather lively ambient atmosphere, heading in the right direction!!

The plaza is amazing during the winter holiday season with all its lights, decorations, parades, music, and much more. One of the most important decorations that is missing is the beautiful and memorable sphere tunnel of lights. I am politely asking if you can please bring back this amazing walk through ornament for this season. Those who grew up creating memories with it would be than grateful to have this return to the plaza. Thank you, very much.

Went to take pictures then played in the splash pad. Got churros and bottled water from the little restaurant there! It's a nice park and they are now keeping the scooters out of the park which they were actually enforcing. You can ride around it on the sidewalk, just not inside. Love this park!

Wonderful winter wonderland! Absolutely love what the community did this holiday season for the Winterfest! The atmosphere was filled with holiday spirit and catered to families adventure and joyful experience.

Nice park, neat and clean. I don't live in El Paso, so I can't see it at different times of day or year, but they were putting up Christmas decorations the day I was there and it looked like it would be pretty. Nice views of the interesting surrounding buildings, too.

Beautiful place to walk around and sight see.

Winter fest grounds at the plaza are beautiful as always. But the big disappointment is that the skating rink was made of plastic, NOT ICE….and that was the big reason we park, get down and walk through the large crowds. We did all that and for what, to walk around plastic for 5 minutes and not even be offered a refund for the poor experience. The plaza is beautiful, but no other place to post review on the poor business of the Winterfest!!

It's a great place to be any time but "winter fest" has a special mood! The lights are on all trees branches! Looks amazing! Coffee and snacks all over around. Many nice people, very safe! Live music too! Just go, it will stay till Jan 2-nd 🤗🌲

I am a native El Pasoan. This is not the same experience I remember as a kid. I remember the main tree was much much bigger. It could be seen from a greater distance. The decorations had things like a Santa's helper workshop which is no longer part of the display. Seems like now it's really just white lights on the majority of the trees. Not the variety that used to be displayed. I guess that's what happens over time. I would give it a five stars all day if it were like before but as it stands it's just a three in my opinion.

Was there for senior pictures. Lots of options for pretty backgrounds. Also had some corn on a cup at the concession stand there and they were amazing

  • 5/5 Esperanza Y. 2 years ago on Google
It looks amazing. There's lights everywhere you look, but there's no X-mas music. I visited on a Tuesday, so unaware if they do have music on the weekends. There's bicycles and scooters for rent. They have chess table, ping pong tables, a pit to play horseshoes and food vendors. Everything is just magical.

  • 4/5 laura m. 2 years ago on Google
Clean and well worth the experience. Music,.lights, food and scooters. The road were also blocked off so it's safe for children and families. Food trucks excepted debit cards and Luigi homestyle pizza is locally own and delish.

This is a very nice and active Park in the Historic District of Down Town El Paso. The visitor Center has clean bathrooms. Security is on-site. So, do not sit on "The Wall" around the fountain. Alot of places to dine. Very good location for wedding parties to take pictures.

Very delightful. Nice park to go and feed some pidgens or maybe even make a wish at the alligator fountain. I think this place is a great place to spend you time in

Wow! What a beautiful Holiday decorating in the middle of the city. Lots of Christmas lights, places to get food, and even restrooms. It is very clean and very safe and I would definitely say come to check it out if you are in El Paso.

This is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon with your family. They have scooters and bikes across the street that you can rent for a very reasonable price, a beautiful fountain in the middle lots of shade and scenery and plenty of delicious restaurants all around.

Such a beautiful plaza, especially in the wintertime. We've gotten our pictures dome here and it was so fun with many options. The little building with food in the middle is DELICIOUS

Wowww no words, the festival season decorations are fantastic here. The lights are every where with decent crowd. Very lovely place if you are elpaso in between Nov 18 to Jan 1 don’t miss this place. You will love the vibe of Christmas here. A must visit place.

There was not much to do after you walk around. They should have a popular band with a real stage playing. Also more food trucks. The trucks there were overwhelmed with wait times over an hour.

I loved all the history there is just being in the plaza. You can see buildings that represent the history of our great city. This is the first place I take family when they say they want to see El Paso. Shared some photos of our photo shoot so the world can see how amazing it is at the San Jacinto Plaza.

Love hanging out here to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful landscape they've set up downtown. It's always clean when I go and a place where I feel safe to hang out with friends. It does close at a certain time at night and you do have to pay for parking but other than that I would totally recommend visiting here.
