Wow,
what
a
nice
historic
home.
It
had
lots
of
great
personal
items
from
the
Era
and
the
construction
is
wonderful
with
an
except
for
the
wall
that
is
currently
braced
and
being
repair.
That
repair
is
being
managed
by
professionals
so
it
made
me
feel
that
the
stewards
were
taking
care
of
the
historic
landmark
the
right
way.
The
tour
guide
was
personable
and
enjoyable.
She
was
very
knowledgeable
about
the
building,
the
family
and
the
El
Paso
history
of
the
time.
For
a
Saturday,
there
was
only
a
couple
of
visitors.
Not
busy
at
all.
The
home
is
air
conditioned
so
visiting
during
a
hot
day
is
just
fine.
The
fee
to
get
in
is
very
reasonable,
less
than
many
state
or
national
historic
budings.
As
much
as
the
guide
was
knowledgeable,
I'm
a
bit
disappointed
walking
away
from
the
home
after
the
tour.
I
feel
like
there
was
so
much
more
she
could
have
told
us
about
the
home
itself,
to
help
transport
us
back
in
time
and
imagine
being
there
with
the
family
sharing
their
experiences.
So
much
happened
in
the
home.
If
I
understand
it's
history,
the
home
and
the
family
in
it
was
such
a
staple
of
the
beginnings
of
El
Paso.
What
stories
there
must
have
been.
The
guide
did
in
fact
tell
us
some
of
those
amazing
stories
but
only
if
we
asked
about
specific
items
in
the
home.
That's
okay,
but
during
tours
in
the
historic
homes
and
castles
in
the
United
Kingdom,
you
didn't
need
to
ask.
The
guide
would
transport
you
back
with
no
effort
on
your
part
to
make
you
a
part
of
that
history.
This
is
just
a
suggestion
to
elevate
the
experience.
Otherwise,
I
felt
there
was
too
few
rooms
in
the
home.
I
would
have
enjoyed
seeing
the
historic
kitchen,
a
favorite
part
of
a
home
for
me,
so
to
understand
the
cooking
of
the
Era.
Anyway,
still
a
nice
walk
to
a
classic
adobe
territorial
home.
Man,
they
don't
make
them
like
that
anymore.
I
really
enjoyed
the
experience!
