The Mission is an amazing experience. It's small but packed with history. If you are a history buff it's worth the trip. It's also a working mission/church, with daily Catholic mass at 7am and is open to host weddings, baptisms, and funerals. It's been beautifully restored and you can see the adobe stone work in the walls as well as the windows. There's plenty of parking and it's next to casino, so I guess there's something for others who might want something more exciting? Come out and #supportlocal! ⛪

This year fungi mungle was the closing act for the Missions Bazaar. They rocked. All ages got into the music. Hope they'll be regulars at the bazaars. My God mothers a groupie. Lol. Really enjoyed her and my mom getting into the show. A true memory to treasure. I know they couldn't here her but my nina kept screaming Jungle Boogie!! The gentleman behind us was really thrilled to sing along.

This is the oldest Mission in El Paso. I travel and am fascinated by Missions and ancient architecture. This was a great find. It has a lot of history; too bad we couldn't get inside!

This church is beautiful, is very accesible from any part of El Paso area. I highly recommend to do the Mission Trail. The church buildings are in close proximity. Take advantage of this historic place, is part of our Mexican American history.

While I didn't go inside (or visit the gift shop) as I arrived early in the morning, just walking the grounds and reading the historical markers were amazing. I highly recommend this stop on the Mission trail and for you to take the time to drive the entirety.

This mission has been preserved for a long time and is a great place to visit. It is quiet and clean and the building itself is really pretty. Definitely worth visiting and the people that go there are nice. I am glad to see a mission taken care of for such a long time.

We went Saturday evening so we would not interrupt mass. I had printed the history of the mission so it was ok that no one was there.

This place was suggested by Texas visitor center. Not a good place to visit as a tourist. It was a ok place towards the end of El Paso city.

The Ysleta Mission was peaceful and inspiring to see. The gift shop has beautiful, locally-made items that make wonderful gifts for family and friends. The staff members were kind and patient and even held the door for me on my way out. I would say this is a must-see if you are new to El Paso!

Magical architecture, fusion at its best! Definitely a must-see in El Paso. Their giftshop is just nice. Come before 6pm to be able to view the interiors too with a statue brought all the way here from Mexico via the Rio Grande. Feel the fleet of time by sensing your hands on the exteriors, and have a moment of contemplation under the deep blue sky. Pure magic.

We lived a walking distance to the church, growing up in the midst ,never thought that one day , living in the State of Indiana , l would be thinking of visiting my old church!! Well guess, what, I will someday, gladly! It's the love we have for our past, The pastors, nuns , still heawwasring them yelling Julian!! Stop making dust okay! I would yell back! Loved it. l was 7years old , memories are so beautiful but so ,is the, Mission,lm78 years young!!!

My wife and I enjoyed this beautiful church! We also really appreciated how nice Liz, the lady running the gift shop, was to both of us. She gave us great restaurant and attraction recommendations. There was also lots of nice hand made local craft items to buy at the gift shop. I would highly recommend visiting Ysleta Mission to anyone visiting El Paso!

This is one of the oldest active churches in the United States. It is a small pueblo style church. Definitely go see it for it's historical value.

They by far have the best gift shop in town! All items are priced very reasonable, much better deals then the typical highway side trinket sellers or any other gift store for that matter. The ladies are so friendly and helpful too!

A small mission with 2nd long active church services. There are 3 distinctive churches on the El Camino Real within 10 miles of each other. It has a nice gift shop with very helpful personnel.

It's nice to see history that wasn't demolished. There's a small gift shop with items made from the local Puebla/Tigua tribe. It's located right next to the Tigua Casino.

You can go inside and look around but there's not a whole lot to see here. There's maybe 5-10 minutes worth of material.

This is the oldest of three historic missions on the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, the ancient highway from Mexico City up through Santa Fe. A funeral was underway when I arrived. So, I did not go in. However, this will be worth a return visit when I have time. It's beautiful as are the other missions.

Very pretty old church. Not too much to see inside. Lots of old history but the church itself had burnt down many times. I was able to park the church itself. Should not take too long to see it. Was in sort of a isolated community a little bit away from downtown.
