We had our dream wedding on 6/11/22 ... Gorgeous venue ! RubyAnn worked really hard to meet all our expectations. Despite how hot the weather was the scenery was well worth it!! We would highly recommend this venue for any of your special events ❤️ Photo Credit: Jacqueline James Photography ( who did an Amazing Job !! )

Truly amazing; really enjoyed the nature, walk, and lunch tables. There was a fairly large play area for kids, as well as fairly clean restrooms. The path was very well maintained (mostly paved with some paths of crushed, smaller than pea size gravel in some areas, smooth no incline, no ruts…) - almost entirely wheelchair accessible. Nature was abundant as was our families joy with this gem in El Paso paradise.

Keystone Heritage Park has so much to offer! Garden & wetland tours, community classes, & special events! Photos are from the recent annual event, Ghosts, Ghouls & Goblins in the Garden Halloween Party with vendors, performers & candy for trick-or-treaters 🎃🎉

A great place to stop by if you are in the area. Obviously, every visit is different as the plants bloom and grow with the seasons. I go every few months. For my mid-April visit today, the Children's garden was full of colorful flowers and I saw several lizards. They have a sandbox area and maze for kids. The wetlands area is good for spotting birds and they have signs posted on the short walking/hiking path about which birds you may see. Entry is only a few dollars.

Not a bad place to come visit and get a hike in. It's great that this park is right inside the city and so accessible. The wetlands are unusual and a good reprieve from the typical desert around here. The desert botanical gardens are nice but it feels a bit sun-dried at this point and could use some new signage and some more healthy foliage. The Paraje Primitive Camp display was well done and there's a very neat labyrinth maze that I think kids would enjoy.

I went back and forth between 4 stars and 5 and decided to give it 5. I would only give it 4 on account of the fairly small size. The place is very clean and well kept. It is nicely laid out and has attractive artworks. The restroom is very clean.

Worth 30 minutes to an hour of your time to walk around the gardens. Only costs $2/person, and you need to have cash. You can go in winter, but it will be more pretty in spring/summer. The pond is quite nice.

Keystone Heritage Park and Botanical Garden is just a beautiful place to visit. They are always taking care of the grounds and we think it's gorgeous all year round. We had our wedding here in October and it was just amazing. Ruby Ann and her husband went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. She was always patient with me, and the event went perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding and we are so grateful for this incredible gem in El Paso. Please make a visit, it's so worth it! Photo Credit: Maya Isabella Photography (absolutely amazing and recommended by Ruby Ann, thank you so much!!)

Smaller than expected but non the less worth checking out. There was one more person when I went on a Sunday around 10 in the morning. The garden has picnic tables as well.

Beautiful botanical garden, it represents the plants of the southwest so we'll. My daughter loved running through the labyrinth and playing in the sand pit. Highly recommend!

Our family really enjoys coming here. It’s $2 per adult and $1 for kids. As you enter there is a little basket where you insert the cash. Usually there isn’t anyone up front as you enter which is fine. We go in as we please and walk around the wetland area. Take the little hiking trails and our kids enjoy the little maze and the sandbox area. I enjoy watching them have fun and enjoy looking at the garden and all the bugs they have. Iike cute bumblebees, ladybugs and butterflies. It’s a really nice garden.

This was my first visit but won't be my last. I look forward to visiting in spring and summer. Very nice and well-maintained urban nature park hiding in plain view in El Paso's Upper Valley.

I had my wedding ceremony at 4pm on 11-30-2019 at Keystone Heritage Park and it was a beautiful location with very friendly staff. I worked directly with Benita and she was very helpful. She provided us with a list of vendors that really helped cut down on the search for quality companies to work with for other aspects of the wedding, such as linens. The garden staff provided us with 100 chairs for the ceremony (which surprisingly was not enough!) and we provided chair covers and bows. We added minimal decorations and at the last minute the garden staff was able to provide us with outdoor heaters, as long as we provided the propane. It was a cold day but the heaters helped and the place was beautiful for the ceremony and pictures. We took pictures by the fountain and the ceremony was to the right in a grassy area with 4 yuccas. There was a covered area we selected as "plan b" that we luckily did not have to use. I am so glad our guests, who had never been to the gardens, had the opportunity to witness the beauty here. Weather is unpredictable but we had a huge crowd and beautiful location. I highly recommend Keystone Heritage Park!

Really enjoy coming out here to these wetlands. It’s a conservation, a place to host. Fabulous unique place to host events. The lighting is fabulous. It’s got an amphitheater where I have hosted numerous fashion shows I really like the eclectic environment of nature the correct lighting you can just add music and makes any event outrageously making a statement above and beyond. Currently, I am a vendor at the Mystical Market and volunteer for other events. As a business owner of Prêt-à-porter Fashions it is, my pleasure to go and vendors and volunteer at this park. Highly recommend this place for a wedding party yoga spiritual, relieve to walk your dog. Especially to check out the vegetation invite plants for your garden in Home.

Had our wedding here in 2014. It is BEAUTIFUL and the rental price for it was very reasonable! Lovely pictures and great scenery for a desert wedding. Lots of great places to take photos and the shady pavilion is perfect for receptions.

WARNING: do not go in the "children's maze". My family and I was attacked by a swarm of wasps immediately upon entering. We did nothing to disturb the surroundings and were simply walking into the maze. I was stung about 10 times. There is a wasp infestation in the children's maze. Until it is removed do not go in there. This happened today, 9-7-19

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The only minor rub was that some paths in the wetlands were not necessarily marked too well. Maybe they were not actually paths. 🤷‍♂️

Gorgeous park with a rich variety of desert flora and fauna. A great stop for out-of-towners that want to see the native ecosystem in a manicured easy to hike and concentrated form. Also wonderful sculpture, mosaic and stone work representing the local culture and geology. And there's a big old dinner bell you can ring. Do it!!

  • 5/5 Eileen D. 2 years ago on Google
Cute spot to get away and enjoy nature for a short time. We weren't able to walk out by the wetlands because of the recent flooding but the rest of the park was accessible on foot and with wheelchair.

I was looking for something to do until I could check into my hotel. I'm not the biggest fan of the desert landscape but this was a nicely designed space. The art work adds to the ambiance. As there is very little shade and nowhere to fill a water bottle (water fountain was either out of order or turned off and it's impossible to fill a water bottle from the bathroom sink) do go prepared. There is a trail that goes out closer to the water for bird watching. I didn't find a map for it but it was well marked.

Beautiful natural park for walks and events. Lots of activities for the whole family, including education about our natural world and relaxing, fun yoga classes. This park hosts many bird species, many who pass through during migration. Gem of the west side of El Paso!

Seems a bit neglected I did go when most plants are dormant but garden needs tending to. Love the atmosphere it is peaceful and has great potential to be amazing....

  • 3/5 Eric P. 5 months ago on Google
This is my third time coming to the park to take photos and I continue to be disappointed in the variety of plants available. The desert has so many varieties to offer and it seems they can do a better job of showcasing those plants and flowers. What is there seems well cared for and the compound is quiet and clean. Self pay option takes honesty to earn a bit of revenue so that surely impacts what they can offer.

It's a nice place to just hang out. It would be a good place to host an event. I saw a grill a stage and a quick little maze that was short but still worth a visit with your family.

Gorgeous oasis in El Paso. I stopped by here on a partly cloudy day after getting coffee nearby. The gardens gates are left open during business hours with a honesty box at the front door. Its $2 cash per person, unless you're qualify as Military, Senior Citizen, or young child. The gardens are relatively small but very beautiful. They have a charming central fountain, a variety of cacti, some of which flower, regional medicinal plants, and surprisingly a water lily pond with live Koi fish. They also have a gazebo and grill you can use. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're nearby.
