I didn't feel very welcome here. Maybe that's because I'm way younger than the main guests (mainly Germans - 50+). The crew were very stressy / busy all the time. They didn't even say: hey welcome, nice that you're here. The building is quite old, sixties style. Needs some renovation. I had to pay €3 per night to use the safe. Although the room was ok. After some days I found out that the breakfast was included, I didn't know that (the breakfast is ok). The crew didn't tell me anything about the hotel when I arrived. Bit crazy. The good thing about the hotel is that you can easily walk to the town, in 5 minutes. And there's a supermarket right in front of the hotel. Oh, I booked a sea side room, but it wasn't what I expected (see photo).

Had our two weeks vacation here at the end of the August. Beautiful location with beautiful sunsets in the evening. Rooms are nice and clean, personal is very friendly and helpful. We had half board and we were happy with food variety and quality. I Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice location right at the beach. Noisy windows kept banging in the wind at night keeping me awake. Nice sunny balcony with sea view. Nice green pool area. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. Incredibly slow check in procedure and a lot of administrative work just to borrow beach towels.

A massive hotel with all of the facilities that you would expect for a hotel of the size. Very close to both the sea/the beach and the town centre, so in a handy location. It had two pools and a decent sized number of loungers around them. The entertainment was okay but was more designed for pensioners from what we saw. It is better than the drive from the main road would have you believe. The rooms are large and reasonably well equipt though ours could have done with shelf in the bathroom and ideally one in the shower as well. The shower was good/pwerful. The downside was that the bathroon smelt, but this may have been the type of water being used to flush the toilet. Lots of people seemed really happy with their stays and were return visitors. We thought that the hotel was good/okay, but let down by a few minor points: In most cases the breakfast and evening meal food (buffet items) were much colder than you would expect, but we did find out that there was a Microwave to warm things up on the last day of our stay, hence they must have had this comment from a number of people. Things like the drinks machine were often out of juice and this was early on during the meal, hence it points to them not being checked regularly. The waiting staff at meal times were a real mix from helpful/friendly to downright grumpy. To counter this the reception staff were all just very nice and helpful. Well done to them! If I was to stay again, I would go B&B rather than half board.

Nice hotel, good food, very nice for a few days. We were there during the start of the irruption so we were also evacuated. Everyone in the village of puerto Naos got some time to pack there inmportant things. But the guests of the hotel had in to go to the bus/car immediately. Someone received her luggage back. We have nothing. I had to fly home with my driver license . Last week we received suddenly the missing pasport and iPad but nothing more. I have an ankle fusion. So I had special soles and shoes that help me to walk. It took me more than 6 months to get them right. I mailed a couple of times if they can send this soles to me but no reaction. It is terrible what his happening on the island where people loose everything. But for myself it is hardly walk without these special soles. So if they can give luggage back to someone and send an pasport . It must be also possible to put the soles in an envelope. We also think Sol can do an better job for the evacuation . To give people more time to pack there important things!!!!!!

Hotel location right at the beach and the promenade. View from the pool to the sea and the sunset is unbeatable( see foto ). Room: beds very good, rain shower in the bathroom had full power. Food: enourmous selection. Dining room very noisy but open air terasse with around 170 seats compensated the above disadvantage. Personal very friendly and in the case of the reception staff knowledgeable of at least three languages ( spanish, english, german )

Nice staff and locale. Unfortunately we only discovered the air condition the very last day, and thats our mistake. Small room with nice closet space. Huge breakfast hall, with a a lot of choices. Over to the bad stuff. I would like for the balconies to be a little bit bigger. The biggest drawback of this place is the hard beds, it's such a shame. All in all, great little place. You got everything you need at a walking distance. I recommend this place for older people. Although it won't be my first pick for a recommendation. Unfortunately I will not come back. Side note: There are some horrible restaurants nearby, unrelated to the hotel. You'll know what I mean if you eat there.

A really handy places to stay. The apartment we had was clean and spacious and everything you needed was available on site. The staff are friendly and efficient. Parking is limited and it is advisable to book a space in advance.

This is the 6th time we have visited Sol La Palma. This time they are in the middle of a major refurbishment which will only make the Sol even better. The upgrades are modern and of excellent quality. The Staff are all very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The food is well presented and delicious. Needless to say we are returning in May 2019.
