👍👍 I visited Casa-Museo del Vino Las Manchas (museum and wine shop) in November 2017. Impressive interior with nice design. Followed by the entire history of wine, grapes and the wine industry. I was lucky because I visited together with my wife. Otherwise and without her ‘’handbrake’’ I would have to... People often mention wine,

I visited Casa-Museo del Vino Las Manchas (museum and wine shop) in November 2017. Impressive interior with nice design. Followed by the entire history of wine, grapes and the wine industry. I was lucky because I visited together with my wife. Otherwise and without her ‘’handbrake’’ I would have to park my Vauxhall and come back to Tazacorte by taxi or local bus. During your visit to Casa-Museo del Vino Las Manchas, everything in your glass will taste and smell ‘’excelente’’.

We came especially to check whether they had some of the more exclusive Palmeran wines that you hardly find anywhere else. Sadly we weren't even able to enter since this place accepts cash only. The nearest ATM is in either Puerto Naos or near Los Llanos and when the former turned out to be empty we simply gave up and went for visit to the local SPAR. Entry fee: €1,50 including two tastings.

Little museum on the wines of La Palma. Interesting piece of history, but most important is the huge wine collection. Every wine made on the island can be found here at a very competitive price.

Not that much to see in exhibits. Lots of informative panels. 2 free wine tastings included in entry price. Somewhat amusingly blames the introduction of banana growing for preventing the expansion of the more noble art of viticulture and getting people merry.

Interesting place to visit. Small, nice staff. 4 wines on taste, reasonable quality of wine not spectacular.

We were there at 10:40.A sign at the door was telling us that museum would be opened at 11:00. Even at 11:25 nobody was there. Unprofessional!
