I really trusted this place since I was born here, but i came into the ER and after waiting 11 long hours in the freezing waiting room, I was notified I had a full miscarriage and they tried to give me a "pill" that would make it all "go by quicker." Three days later I get an ultrasound that shows my baby is in perfect health! The heart beat was normal, my cervix was closed, no signs of a possible miscarriage! Definitely never coming back here!!

They saved my daughters life. After a terrible car accident, every step they took, every test they ran, every medical decision they made. Saved my daughters life. Her day nurse and her night nurse in PICU didn’t take their eyes off her. They didn’t leave the room until all our questions were answered. THEY SAVED MY DAUGHTERS LIFE. And I can never thank them enough...

They are too quick to call CPS instead of getting all the facts. If your child goes inpatient watch your back.

Not sure how this place considers themselves a children's hospital at least not the ER. Came in for stiches for my son and they kept us waiting forever, we were the only ones in the waiting room. Whole process took 3 hours. Left my son in the room sleeping and didn't even offer a blanket for him. I had to ask. Very unorganized, kept forgetting supplies and the excuse was it was a teaching hospital. Now I have to take him back to get two staples removed and they said they will charge it as an ER visit. Don't I pay enough in property taxes for this hospital, are they that hard up for money. Should have taken him to Providence Children's!

ER rooms were filthy and not being cleaned. Nurses are overwhelmed, and the equipment that checks vitals are faulty. They don't check in on patients, and there is no way for patient to get nurses attentions besides yelling. Which we heard. People are waiting for hours to be seen. I could go on. Go to another Hospital if you are coming for emergency care.

I hate to say it but I felt as though this hospital was racist towards my family and I. I brought my child in to be seen on a Monday afternoon and after about an hour waiting we were finally called to get her vitals. When our name was called, another young lady thought it was her name and proceeded to head back with the nurse (our names were very similar). When I notified them that it was actually me who was called, the nurse still insisted I wait even longer although the lady that went to back had just come in and wasn't even in the system yet. I was mortified. That was very unprofessional and it felt like bc we were black our needs didn’t matter as much as the next person. So I left and took my child to another hospital bc I couldn’t imagine us being there and waiting hours to be seen all bc we were of a different complexion than everyone else there. This was a very saddening experience.

Old building, rude staff, unprofessional, you can’t order anything for your meals you get what you get. AC unit was broken in the room so it was always hot. Night shift nurses were completely inconsiderate to you sleeping at 2:00 am, flipping on all the lights talking loud, Just to take your blood pressure. The one positive thing I have is the doctors I had in the ER were exelent and really listen to my concerns.

I have had my 5 month daughter in 3 different hospitals , and I can honestly say this hospital hasthe worst service. I understand this is a learning hospital which I am all for, but it doesn't justify the nurses not giving my daughter the care she needed. The day she came out of surgery, and was already at the PICU, she was yelling and crying of pain , I ask her nurse for pain Meds and she told me she'd be right back. An hour passed and I called through the phone asking for her meds and she said she would bring them right over. My daughter cried and yelled in pain for two hours straight until they could get her the morphine. The next night I asked them with time for the morphine, and we still experienced a similar experience!! I am a patient person but Anything I ever asked them for I had to remind them 3 or 4 times for it, and sometimes I wouldn't even get them until I asked the nurse from the next shift. Even simple things such as diapers and whippies. The doctors were AMAZING, the nurses lacked care and interest and most really didn't know what they were doing. I had a horrible stay, and I horrible experience. If the nurse is learning she should always be with another nurse that does know!

Took in my son with stomach pain and fever. We waited almost about 1.5 hours to be put in a room because there were no rooms available. Nurses were curtious and super nice. Just because my son got a little better with the tynelol he was given they discharged him. When they gave me information they gave me printouts on diarrhea when I told them my son suffers from constipation.

Horrible service to check in . Long lines , only 1 person doing admissions/registering. Then the elevator line was also very long and turns out only 1 elevator was working out of 3!!!! Was there early for my appointment & ended up being late !!!!

My daughter was rushed to the NICU here after being delivered at William Beaumont. I was a nervous wreck. You better believe I had my butt over at Children's Hospital only 5hrs after giving birth. The staff was amazing. They were so informative and calming. They gave my husband and me all the privacy we needed, but were still so attentive to all our needs. I loved how they had a camera so we could watch our baby online when we weren't there. They even offered all kinds of classes and education before she was discharged. I was so impressed with the care she received and would take her back there in a heartbeat.

This is the worst children’s hospital ever! I brought my 1 year old grandson here and when I tell you that it seems that most of the nurses have just gotten out of medical school I am not exaggerating. They struggled to get an IV in him after three attempts and when they finally did the vein they got burst! They kept lying to me telling me everything was fine but were unable to extract anything and even went as far to receive samples straight from the entry! All their tests I’m sure we’re inconclusive and another nurse had to come in and stab my grandson AGAIN. At one point his hand was covered in blood! I was absolutely appalled with the level of service I received here. One of the nurses even told me it was “trial and error for sure”! Trial and error?! I am entrusting you with my family. We then waited for 7 hours all for them to tell me he was just constipated. The rooms were filthy, but the bathrooms were absolutely filthy as well, no hand soap or towels to dry your hands, soiled toilet paper on the floor, patients in the hallway. In a post pandemic era, that is absolutely unacceptable! I feel the RN’s need more training because I’ve never seen anything like that staff in any medical setting let alone an emergency room. If you’re old enough to remember Thomason Hospital and the wait times this is that!

Ricky from the ICU on the 10th floor is an incredible nurse! Very compassionate and very informative. This guy sets the standards high and I am grateful for the wonderful treatment he has given my brother and the comfort and information he’s provided my family. Thanks Ricky!

SCAM ALERT: if you have private insurance, all outpatient imaging studies are billed for $900+, even simple x-rays. Buyer beware! LOOK AT ALTERNATIVES FIRST!! I'm in for $1800 for three simple studies because my insurance doesn't pay such ridiculously high billing rates 🤦🏻‍♂️

The star is for wait time staff was great understandably overwhelmed but come on been waiting for my son to get called in never been seen here and never again. This is a children hospital it should be more efficient on care for children. I have lived in Denver and they where more busy but was so efficient on care and wait times. There were only three family including mine at 10 now it is 1 and so full and still waiting to be seen

Nurses in the PICU on the 10th floor are very nice and informative. Housekeeping staff is great in keeping the room clean and facilities stocked. Cons: Bistro opens late at 10 am. Admissions is kind of confusing and hidden. They should prohibit and enforce smoking by the entrance of the hospital. People should smoke by the parking lot.

Don’t go here unless you want a CPS situation! My daughter was admitted after her four month immunizations because her fever spiked to 104.5. They ignored her multitude of immunization reactions and focused in on the fact that she happens to be SMALL. Well, this baby has always been small. We just moved here from out of state and I had her pediatrician send all her medical records to the doctor that admitted us, and at no point did ANY doctor review those records. She was in the 3rd percentile for weight and they began sending in social workers and insinuating suspensions of neglecting our child. They threatened to call CPS on us and to call my husband’s chain of command. They assured us that as long as we stayed and showed that our baby was gaining weight, everything would be fine. Well, we did exactly that. We cooperated and showed a gain. What child would not gain weight after two days of not eating?! Our baby lost almost a whole pound in the hospital. Of COURSE she gained when she began eating again. We were discharge and CPS was knocking on our door the next morning. We have now spent thousands of dollars securing an attorney to prove our innocence. They sit there and tell you they are “just trying to help,” But I can assure you they have done my child no good because now I will never take her to a hospital again when she has a fever or is in need of medical care because I don’t want to be threatened with CPS and medical kidnapping! Good job El Paso children’s Hospital! You really care about children!

Don’t get me wrong my son had a great stay! They took good care of him after & during his seizure. They prescribed him medication for his seizures but no Pharmacy seems to have it! Not ours or any other one. I called the only we have on file & they keep saying the isn’t any prescription under his name. I tried calling the hospital but nobody knows anything. Spent 40 mins being transferred to end up at some random pharmacy that clearly didn’t have my sons medicine. Keep in mind this medication is to help when my sons has a seizure!!!!

I went to this hospital to take my son around 7:30 pm. The woman at the front desk was rude , her name is Diamond and she had a bad attitude. Even if I wait a little, I can't stand that the woman had inappropriate music with sexual messages and there were other children and then she got on the hospital phone talking inappropriate things out loud. We could all listen, it was very uncomfortable and I decide to leave the hospital. Her conversation was very explicit. You guys need to control this employees! So inappropriate music for a children’s hospital

Oct.14,2021 my son had surgery on both legs this was a very aggressive surgery of 7hrs on top of that He suffers from Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, diplexia not sure how that's spelled, & much more. He has had b4 other surgeries on his hips legs but not as aggressive as this 1. But mainly He's been in a wheelchair all his life. I use 2 c this hospital as 1 of the best here in El Paso since I was born here as well n so was he. Everything change when I brought my son here. Not by the Dr bcuz the Dr is 1 of the greatest Dr's but he doesn't belong in this hospital the only reason why he did surgery here in El Paso childrens hospital in 4845 Alameda was bcuz "there are 24/7 Dr's available that would care 4 my son if anything happened " which those Dr's didn't do jack sh** thru out the process. however I started noticing alot of things once we were transferred to the 9th floor room 968....I tried explaining everything in detail here but it's limiting so I will get straight 2 the point....So Had 2 nurse's very rude, the PT was rude didn't even do her job, only brought us a WC that brakes weren't workn n the lift was broken as well I had 2 find a way 2 make it work, nurse's had no clue what 2 do but give his medicine that's it I was practically the nurse doing everything once we were released a social worker comes in saying I don't qualify for a wheelchair. I was lost & confused but remembered I was once told, 2 b careful cuz 1 day some1s gonna try to purchase 1 n sure enough they did that so I told them exactly how 2 do their job, wat they had 2 do 2 get 1, but 4 RENT, n they didn't want 2 they wanted me 2 take care of their mess which It's not my job 2 do, but still they wouldn't do nthn they kept saying they already tried w/every company n no 1 wants 2 rent me 1, practically they were doing fraud n wanted 2 blame me 4 it, they got me so mad I started contacting every 1 I knw, my BF told them you really got her mad which is not good, she knows pple. They wanted to transfer my son in an ambulance w/out a WC n I said no I'm not leavn dis hospital until I get that chairn even if it takes days n they didn't care, they were so rude,, they even gathered all on me trying 2 lie 2 my face n twist everything around, my bf went 4 the manager Clarrisa n she tried blaming me that I purchased 1 that's y I don't qualify wen they're the ones 2 ask 4 one she was one of them as well. This continued for 4hrs straight they even said they don't have WC in the hospital bcuz dis is the 1st time 2 deal w/a handicap kid. R U KIDDING ME! BS!! How unprofessional! But once I got off the phone I heard Clarissa say that they will get 1 for sure if not they will pay for it n it will be here w/in an hr. I told her if that chair is not here I will go above you, I was seconds away 2 ask for the director. I wish I can tell the whole story exactly how it happened in detail but I'm limited w/words....but they tried lying to me, said things about my son's insurance, social workers names I don't even knw that supposedly Ana was my social worker from the insurance, lol not even close,, they twisted everything around w/out them knowing what I knew n on top of that I have every1s personal # not insurance tho. This was so disappointing, very unprofessional. I noticed it all depends what insurance u have.. I've read all the reviews & I really don't recommend this hospital 4 urs bbs. Think twice b4 you choose the EP CHILDRENS & 4 those who donate here as well. On my way out they had about 7 wheelchairs but they said they didn't have any at all... From now on I will go to providence the other surgeries were there n not once have they failed my son everything was right there n then I didn't even have 2 wait, complain etc. Everything was taken care of. From now on my donations goes to their Children's hospital. Pple who have kids w/special needs in WC etc please try to knw ur rights b4 they try to screw u up. Good luck May God bless you all n I hope no one goes thru this or worse. Oh n nurse's even said those beds suck.

I had to take my daughter to the emergency room last night with a semi-crowded waiting area. My daughter was consistently throwing up discretely because we couldn't make it to the bathroom and once the staff noticed this, they quickly processed her for treatment. From the front desk admin., the first line evaluation medical staff (didn't get their names) to the ED Nurse (Priscilla A.), ED Resident (Dr. Whitesides), ED Faculty (Dr. Idada), our daughter was treated extremely well. Just seeing how compassionate and professional they worked as a team is impressive. I have to give kudos to Priscilla whom has the most calm, caring and obvious passion for her job, she put us all at ease throughout the whole ordeal.

I’ve unfortunately had to take both my kids here on separate occasions but each visit has always exceeded my expectations. One visit was during the day, the other was in the evening and both had the same level of service, kindness, compassion. They are very through and the wait is never long to be seen. I definitely recommend bringing your kids here if you should ever need to. The doctors aren’t just in and out, they explain things to you and engage with your child. Thank you for your exceptional level of care!

I just want to commend the EP Children's Hospital for their courteous and dignified treatment of all patients especially our baby boy. Dr. Emediong Q. Udo and her team (doctors, nurses, support staff) were aware of the situation in the lobby, and consistently expressed to patients and staff their commitment to helping everyone and their children in a timely manner. Although it was a long wait, their services to my family and I were professional, respectful, and mindful of all of our worries and anxieties. I would bring my children to her and her team at any time if needed and I am glad we have them serving our community.

A special thanks to Dr. Orynich and RN Villanueva. We are so thankful for the exceptional care they provided to our daughter.

A gorgeous hospital housing so many things for their patients. The quality of all the nurses, with one exception for me personally, is unmatched. Strict in the rules and regulations to keep others safe and I appreciate that. No parent wants to have to take their child to the hospital or even worse to a place that is lax on their regulations, this place is fully boundary set. There's a group that comes into the children's room with gifts like toys, board games, and stuffed animals to have the children choose freely to help boost them emotionally and it's free of charge. The inhouse coffee shop was a blessing as well as the dietitians and the many nurses on the floor willing to help anyone that has the smallest of concerns. Nobody is ignored here. A multitude of doctors at the drop of a hat when a child is in need is one truly heaven sent blessing. Spacious rooms, night lights, newly constructed sofa beds for parents to sleep if needed to overnight, exceptional size bathrooms, a play area in the lobby for other children to play to keep from the annoyance of crying and screaming, and great, healthy choices in the cafeteria menu. Security is unmatched from any other hospital I've ever seen and I couldn't be more thankful. This is one bittersweet place to experience solely in the acknowledgement of how a hospital should be and having it operate only for children.

My wife took our 4 month old son here today with symptoms that show RSV and has been there all day for them to tell her that she can go home and they will call with results, if it worsens or doesn’t get better to get him retested in 24/48 hours but since he’s not on the brink of death he’s fine and we don’t know what we’re talking about! This hospital is poorly ran!

Children's Hospital was the best choice, during our RSV stay. We were here about 2 weeks and the nurses were awesome! Nurse Veronica, Travel Nurse Asthma, and all the respiratory staff were very kind, and loving. They truly cared for my 7 month old, answered all the questions we had, even if we repeated the same ones. The doctors were amazing! Everyone was very positive and made our stay go smoothly, even though it was a scary time for us. THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!

Excellent service, nurses are bilingual and kind. The only thing that we wanted to leave this hospital was because emergency room took like 7 hours to have our room approval and I don’t know if it was because Sunday night or it’s always like that. Also many residents coming to ask the same thing over and over. Surgery for my daughter went well the surgeon and team were profesional and explained everything they make sure I understood the process. Anesthesiologist made me calm about this surgery and explain me. Social worker was kind.

ER, NICU and PICU staff were great when my infant son was hospitalized for over a month. Sometimes the wait times for tests are long and it's too bad that the bistro is only open until 4 PM, but otherwise this hospital is wonderful!

El Paso Children's Hospital I want to say that this has been the best hospital experience we have ever had! The transport ambulance on the way to the hospital was their ambulance and staff. They were very good with our son and helped him enjoy the ride. They even gave him a purple giraffe stuffed animal to help keep him calm over the bumps. All the nurses were amazing with us and him. The OR nurses volunteered to stay after their shift to make sure he got the surgery before his appendix ruptured. The lead OR nurse said it was to make sure he had a better recovery time so we can go on our vacation. I almost cried. But I didnt. (We are military and we havent been home in 2 years ;) ) The doctor and the surgeon were always on the same page and very communicative with us. Even the cleaning staff and meal delivery people always went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you El Paso Children's Hospital! We will forever be grateful for your service!!

I wish I could give a straight up zero stars. This was the worst visit I’ve ever had at a children’s hospital, We spent almost 8 hours at this emergency room, and seen a doctor one time for maybe two minutes, and she didn’t even finish explaining to us what was wrong with my child. They did NOT pay attention to our concerns, nor did they check him for any of the common sicknesses right now, they just diagnosed him over thing we had initially said to them, as far as his symptoms go. They are NOT thorough, and had little to no care about my child’s well being. GET IT TOGETHER El PASO CHILDRENS

Labor in this hospital was extremely traumatizing. There was absolutely no level of professionalism nor care from these people. I was going into labor and they got upset at me and told me I was not allowed to push, when it was happening on it's own. I begged for help and got ignored because the nurse assistants were waiting for a doctor that wasn't even my scheduled doctor. From that to blowing out my veins, wrongly pricking my daughters heals having to do it over and over because they messed up. When I delivered my baby it looked like a crime scene there was no sense of cleanliness and to top it off they just plopped my daughter on my chest where she couldn't breath. They were not informal I had no idea what medication was being given to me. Disgusting excuse for a hospital that is supposedly rated number 1. A day that was supposed to be special bringing life into this world was a nightmare that I have yet to mentally recover from. I should have listened to stories of other women who had similar experiences at UMC. These people were plain cruel and have no right to be working in this field especially around children. Please do your research, and for the sake of yourself and your child, do not have labor in this awful facility.

Avoid at all cost. You will be charged a ridiculous amount. And you will be left waiting in the hallway for hours and hours without being seen. Never was put in a room and seen by the doctor for 10 minutes. Billed 5 grand. Also was there waiting for 5 hours. It's worth it to drive far and go somewhere else.

Took my child for vomiting and diarrhea, they did absolutely nothing. Told me no cheeseburgers, or pizza. Really? I am not that stupid. Nurses were great! Dr. Stern really not nice. They wanted to see if child would throw up, so they gave some crackers and juice, waited 20 minutes and child didnt throw up. But of course threw up all the way home. Brought child here, because it might be better because it was Childrens, but it wasn't. Would not recommend the care here.

My child came down with sudden illness 14 sept 20023. from the check in to vitals was a small wait, arrived between 715pm around 8pm, but once vitals determined that she was at high risk, they immediately began to work, she was given excellent service, all staff from vitals, doctor, nurses, I don't know how transporters work, but A+ she was admitted and all procedures was done smoothly. All her test and labs that could be done were completed until she was admitted it took 3 and a half hours. It was awesome for a worried love one. Thank you.

We had an amazing experience at Childrens hospital El Paso! I took both kids and they saw them almost immediately for their vitals. Both kids were screaming and crying and they were patient and stood focused. They didn’t force anything on my infant when he was gagging on medication which I’ve seen before. The nurses and doctor were very sympathetic towards my 5 year old and made conversation with her while running numerous tests. I didn’t have to push for testing or second opinions because they ran everything and answered everything and explained throughly. We weren’t rushed at all and we were out within 5 hours. A huge plus was being able to bring food in without a hassle which has been in my experience. Side note: they said they’ve been seeing rhinovirus lately so that’s something I feel parents should be aware of.

This review is for their front desk and billing office.... Learn your job! Due to your lack of competence and ability to perform your administration of patient information correctly, I have spent countless hours with my insurances (plural) and the even less than intelligent personnel at El Paso Imaging trying to sort out the mess that was made. You had two insurances you could have submitted claims against but somehow this was not enough. The office sent me bills almost a year later which had active referrals at the time of service and then you provided El Paso Imaging the wrong information, so they sent me to collections!!! WTH EPCH! Fix yourselves!

HB? not sure how to say his name but he is a one of the guys in my son's surgical team. He was so kind and I trusted him immediately. Thank you for being so calm and kind and supportive.

My niece is in there at this moment she has been waiting 2 days for surgery on her arm. Shes been in pain. Now in pre-op since 5pm it is now 7:49 pm. Don't know what is going on at this hospital, whether its staff, surgeons or what but this is ridiculous.

My son (6) had his tonsils removed last week and he got dehydrated and was in a ton of pain a week later so we took him to the children’s ER tonight. My son loves the nurses here! He said he always wants the nurse Jesus, he was so fun and made the IV fun for my son! Dr Chiao is also amazing. I really like everyone here!

Everyone was nice and professional. We were seen at outpatient Radiology and everyone took the time to help us not only the day of the study, but before with several questions and concerns we had. Would definitely bring my children back here if needed.

Priscilla in the pediatric ICU was amazing. My kid loved her. We were here for a week stuck in that room and she made it bearable. He really liked her.

Do not bring your kids here. Absolutely horrible care and a filthy facility. Hopefully this place gets the overhaul it needs quick.

I brought my son and twice during the holidays with a high fever of over 104. The wait was a little bit long, but worth it. The doctors and staff were very kind and took good care of my son.

The staff was very helpful and caring came in for lab work and was in and out right away. Called prior to make sure I was allowed as a walk in and they answered and responded right away that I could take my child whenever.

The staff is really rude took my kid to this hospital n they automatically told us it was abuse n made us bring in her twin sister n told us both was shaking baby syndrome n than got cps involved without even doing any medical tests at all for both of the girls so if u want ur kids took away for 365 days plus for no reason at all than I would use this hospital but other than that I will never go back here...... avoid at all costs

(Translated by Google) Terrible service, more than 3 hours waiting in the emergency room and the full room, the staff inside talking. There are several people who arrive and keep coming to the emergency room, they better go to other hospitals and those of us who are still waiting without giving us hope will attend us because it is full and there are no rooms. (Original) Pésimo servicio, más de 3 hrs esperando en la sala de urgencias y la sala llena, el personal dentro platicando. Honestly, I had a bad experience during labor at this hospital. I was diagnosed positive for covid-19 and was treated very horribly. The nurse came into the room asking my husband to leave because I had tested positive for covid-19. I had to go through labor alone leaving me very nervous and anxious. The nurse didnot allow me to retest for covid-19 because it was too expensive. Although we offered paying the price for re-testing for covid-19. The hospital never gave me a paper stating that I was covid-19 positive, no lab signature no proof. After, labor they sent me to an isolated room, where I spent the rest of my time. I have Type 2 diabetes and the nurses took forever giving me my meals. They gave me meals that had sugar, I had to constantly re-order meals that didn't have sugar. I would wait for the nurses to bring me the meals and by the time I had my meals they were too cold to eat. I felt my sugar levels were always low by the time my meals would come. Another horrible experience was when they released me from the hospital they had my newborn baby and I underneath a white sheet that was suffocating. The nurse pushed my newborn and I in a wheelchair to the elevator with the white sheet over our body. Once we reached the elevator she was not prepared. We went about 5 minutes going up and down the elevator waiting for the cleaning lady to arrive to clean and sanitize the elevator .( I thought only dead bodies should have a white sheet covering them from head to toe) I was sweating inside the white sheet and I had to open a little part so that my newborn would not suffocate. This was embarrassing and scary for I didn't have control of what I was seeing. Once the cleaning lady came the nurse quickly went out and took me out to the front. My husband was mad, and removed the sheet from my body because the nurse seemed like she was too afraid too, my husband grabbed our newborn and safely placed on the carseat. By the time I reached my car I was out of breath and sweating and relieved to have fresh air hit my face as the white sheet was removed. This was the worst experience I had by far. Let me know if you guys had the same experience.

Absolute worst children's hospital. We have been to seven different children's hospitals in my child's life and this one is not anywhere near the same level of care and professionalism as the other six! For the past almost four years, every single time we have had to come to this hospital for an appointment, which is often, there is ALWAYS some sort of issue that arrives at the very last moment, and nobody calls to let me know until closing time the day before the appointment!! I literally call a few days before the appointment to make sure everything is in order, they tell me it is... And it never fails, the day before the appointment, they call to reschedule because they messed up somewhere!

Every time I bring my son here he never get treated. He’s always sent away that he looks good so he’s ok. And then it turns out he’s not ok. I took him in this last visit I believe 03/02/22 this past Monday or Tuesday and once again he’s fine and they just suctioned him. Then I call his doctor to get advice and they called back for me to bring him in first thing the next morning. It turns out he is not fine and he has a sinus infection. It’s always like this with this hospital my son had another serious situation going on and he was sent home saying he’s fine until another doctor said no he’s not take him back IMMEDIATELY and he ended up being admitted. Like I don’t get it. I’m doing my part as his mother can they do there’s as MEDICAL STAFF. They seem mad when you go there especially the dark hair nurse at night. I didn’t get her name but she’s in the vital signs room every time I go with the guy with colored eyes. It just feels like they don’t care and you bothering them.

TERRIBLE SERVICE SCHEDULING! I would double check and not trust their clerks here. I would also make sure when you call you do not get (CRYSTAL )l to schedule your appointments. If your child is in pain and in need of an appt do not let this woman schedule you. Unfortunately my son is out of an appt now due to her lack of knowledge in her job field. My son had been fasting in order to complete his appt that was scheduled for today since 5am and this woman has the nerve to tell me to sit and wait and they will try to get me in, are you kidding me? You are going to tell me to keep starving my son because of your mistake? Definitely neglectful already! That does not make me feel like my son is going to taken care of here at this hospital, AT ALL! I hope no babies get hurt by scheduling them incorrectly and then having them to continuously fast due to a mistake made by them. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED THIS HAS HAPPENED AT A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. This is not the feeling any mother should have when trying to receive care for their newborn! This woman has created chaos for a full time working mother and I hope no more have to suffer due to the inability of this scheduling clerk.

My Grandson was born in 2020 and was premature and was delivered here. Even though we could not visit due to covid restrictions, they had a wonderful link to a camera where we could login and see him anytime we wanted. This was such a blessing for us and my daughter and son in law constantly talk about how great the staff were and how they miss them. we live several thousand miles from this location and will probably never get to actually meet the nurses but I thank GOD so much for them and pray for huge blessings for all of them.

My daughter has had somewhat serious health issues since arriving to El Paso 2 years ago, and while we are military, Children’s El Paso has been our go-to facility. From the front desk staff (especially Delilah), to the surgeons (Dr. Latiff) amazing doctors (Dr. Springer), to the awesome and caring nurses (too many to name), to the specialists in multiple disciplines, this Hospital is top notch and puts their patients and families first! They make every effort to keep you informed and feel comfortable during trying times with a sick child. This is the type of care that all medical institutions should strive to offer. Thank you El Paso Children’s Hospital!

We had very good service during labor. But since we are from Mexico and pay the contract which includes 2 days and 1 night. They made us stay 1 extra night for no reason just to take some extra money from us and that is $800 per night.

Some of the nurses act as if they don't care and the hospital is very dirty (at least in the emergency room) they don't even feel like sitting down or going to the bathroom.
