I went in with an injured arm and before I signed paperwork I asked how long it would be before I was seen. The clerk assured me it would not take long, so I filled out paperwork. After 2 1/2 hours of not being seen, I went back up to the clerk and asked how much longer. She then stated that it was going to be a long time because both rooms are full and they are waiting for x ray results and then they needed to be reviewed. This place only has 2 rooms for incoming paitents. I then asked if I leave will I be charged, she said no because they would notate that I was not seen. Guess who got a bill for $250 to sit in the waiting room?! I called and stated that I shouldn't be charged because no services were performed but since I signed paperwork to be admitted (thinking I wouldn't have a long wait because I was told by the clerk I wouldn't) I am still going to be charged. I then asked what I was being charged for, because no services were performed, they stated they could offer 1/2 off but I would still have to pay. I understand that I signed paperwork, but what are they charging me for?! Avoid our this place like the plague unless you feel like being ripped off!

Fraudulent company. Works with doctors in cities hundreds of miles away to perform unnecessary procedures to milk insurance companies and get kick backs. I have a pending BCBS fraud investigation in progress with these people and the local doctor who, together, are represent the #1 problem with our healthcare system.

Came in to schedule a surgery appointment on April 24 @ 4:36 and my child woke up from a nap crying just like a typical toddler would and the older lady in the front desk seemed to be extremely annoyed, rolling her eyes and using a very rude tone of voice .. not only did she seemed annoyed but she also had a very rude way of answering .... I left with a really bad impression just like the one she exhibited for people around me who noticed her attitude towards my son... to the point that one of the nurses handed my son a chocolate and smiled, almost like saying sorry for her attitude. I believe that front desk customer service Is highly important especially in a hospital environment.

I flew in from the DFW area to be with my mother as she had her laser surgery here this morning. From the time we arrived at 6 a.m. until the time we left, we both we're treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. The staff greeted us with smiles and hand shake from the doctor. The AMAZING nurses that assisted my mom were Annali, Perla, Erica (pre-op), and Ericka (recovery) as well as the wonderful doctors---Dr. J. Pierre and Dr. Eric Sides. I can't thank you all enough for making this a positive experience. I only wished my mom had come here 10 months ago. Thanks for being patient and understanding my mom. Job well done!!!

Upon arrival this experience started fairly nice. When the tech called my name the experience started the to go downhill from there. I was in the waiting area on a gurney for better than 45 min when this RN came to me to start my IV, she hung the bag that been set up with the tubing intact. She then proceeded to uncap the IV tubing by placing it in between her teeth and twisting it off. She proceeded the insert the angiocath into the vein and it blew. She asked if I had stopped my Plavix, and I told her no, she then started to get angry with me about the Plavix which thins the blood to prevent clotting. I attempted to explain that I was not told to stop taking the medicine, she refused to listen and continued with her anger growing. She found another RN to attempt to start the IV and she got the IV started with the first try with no problems. After about an 1 1/2 I was taken to have procedure preformed and the staff in the procedure room did their job to the highest standard. They were great. When I was taken to recovery I was heavily sedated , I was sleeping in recovery for about 20 minutes as per my daughter. They then allowed her in to see me, after about 5 min the RN told my daughter that I could go home and left again. I was very sedated and had to dress myself with no help, my daughter stopped from falling 3 times and the RN was nowhere to be found. I finally was dressed and one of the staff from the procedure room took me to my truck so could go home. The issues with the visit to Foundation Surgical Hospital are serious from a nursing stand point. First, the nurse that got angry with me about the medicine that I didn't stop, I was not told to stop any medicine and her anger issues grew, then the uncapping of the IV tubing with her teeth which comtaminated it all with touching the teeth. Secondly, RN that shared the the health information with no regard of who was around and that is a HIPPA violation. Thirdly is a serious safety concern when someone who is sedated they should not be left alone, let alone have to dress themselves alone. My daughter informed me that she stopped me from falling 3 times. I then had to go to the bathroom alone because the RN sat at her desk to do paperwork. I will return to this facility for any procedure. The patient, after any procedure is quickly abandoned and they must fend for themselves. This is by no means meant to reflect towards the physicians that work there.

My dad had surgery this morning not so bad service, he had to return to the emergency and the staff was very very unprofessional, front desk nurses and doctors using foul language and very unprofessional. All this was going on while my dad was waiting out in the waiting room with pain and discomfort. They didn't care to check his medical records of his morning surgery. Very uncaring. Worst experience ever.

I was scheduled to have surgery and went to register at the hospital. I was asked to give a deposit, which I did. I gave $1500.00 on a credit card. I then changed my mind and decided not to have the surgery. I contacted them that same week and they said they would return the deposit. A month passed, and no check. I then contacted the main office in San Antonio. They said they would be mailing me a check. Now another month has passed and still no check. So now I will have the charge disputed by the credit card company, which I should've done in the first place. I thought I would get my money back with no problems, but obviously not. I will update my review once I get my money back.

Came in for pre surgery labs at 10 am and was told they did not have any doctor’s orders for my wife. They attempted to electronically receive records several times before making me go next door and physically pick them up. Returned to the hospital only for them to tell me that the documents did not show orders. After calling the Dr’s office we were advised as to where on the documents the orders were located. The person at the desk did not read the clear instructions on the documents showing the doctor’s orders. It is now 12:30 pm and my wife had still not been called in for her labs. Mind you the original visit to the doctor’s office was one week before. They should have had everything prepared. I’m not looking forward to the surgery if this is the service we received just for lab work. Stay Away! Couldn’t give them a negative rating so I was forced to give them 1 star. Please be wary of this hospital.

I had successful back surgery last July. The surgeons and all the staff were kind, open and friendly, and treated me in a caring and professional manner.

On Saturday I got cut pretty deep with a piece of glass. On my arm. It was horrific , you could see inside the cut. It was a good 4 inches I was terrified I live right next door to this hospital, my husband helped me stop the bleeding and rushed me to that hosptial. We go inside, (we've never been here before) all soaked in blood I asked what I have to do to sign in. The man in the front IGNORED me. I was still bleeding at this time. My husband asked him "are you really going to just sit there while my wife bleeds out??" And the man had the nerve to respond with a rude "yes thank you sir". At that point I realized I would not get the help I need. My asked my husband to take me to Vista del sol hospital where they took me in right away and attended to my wound and stitched me up That was the first and last time I will go to that hosptial I rather drive the distance. If you don't want to be there to help people then why are you there working ? I cannot believe this experience because after all aren't hosptials there to help? Never again going here again even if I'm a minute away.

I THEN ANSWERED MY WIFE...YOY SHOULD HAVE ASKED ME THAT TO BEGIN WITH...WELL THEN I WAS SEDATED...FOR THE OPERATION...WHEN I WAS WAKING UP MY WIFE WAS THERE...THEY KEPT WAKING ME UP...AS I WAS STILL VERY GROGGY...THEY WANTED ME ...OUT...LATER THEY TOLD ME to put on my pants and shirt... I did...next they started installing the cast... they could have given me a gown or instructed me to bring a robe....my wife was called at 1 pm.. while still at work...she told them that she gets off at 2...in an hour...they then told her to get /leave work ..NOW!!! SHE COMPLIED...WE DIDNT LIVE THE HOSPITAL TILL 3:30!!!......THAT HOSPITAL IS OUTRIGHT ...RUDE..DISPICABLE... I'LL NOTIFY THE V.A. These people seem to be running some kind of scam. They send urgent-sounding, last-chance letters asking you to pay a surgical bill, when you’ve never even set foot in their facility or received treatment from them. It seems they somehow get hold of the names of people who have recently had surgeries elsewhere in the region, and calculate there is s good chance their letter will trigger a response. My insurance company could find no trace of any claims submitted to them, as would be the case for a legitimate bill.

Went in Monday morning for a spinal fusion by Dr. George Martin and was released Wednesday afternoon. I can't say enough good things about the staff here -- especially the nurses and techs. Everyone made an extra effort to be helpful, friendly, compassionate and professional. El Paso is fortunate to have such a fine surgical facility.

I just had back surgery and a two day stay. Alma and Marsela were my aids and both surpassed all expectations. The staff were exceptional, caring, and compassionate. Facility is clean and easy to navigate. New physical therapy director needs to learn from the staff how to act but with that single exception this was the nicest hospital stay to date.

Foundation Surgical Hospital provided excellent service for my husband. However we had to return to the Foundation Emergency due to a post op complication. The staff at the ER was very unprofessional laughing and carrying on as if they were having a party while my husband was in extreme pain.

Don't go to this so call hospital E.R. The minute my wife and I walk in to the E.R. A man who was sitting at the desk started to tell us why not to sign in and to go to another E.R. We went to this E.R. because my wife was in a lot of pain and we were hopping she would get treated. Well when we were trying to sign in. This man ( could be nurse, doctor, or a tech). Started telling us that they may not be treating my wife and for us to go to another E.R. He gave us so many excuses to us. That I just stop signing her in and we left. I dont understand why would this place have a E.R. and run patients out before they sign in. I just don't understand why would they do that even when they didn't even have any patients at the time we arrived. Maybe it was because they wanted a easy Sunday or because they wanted to watch the NFL games!?!? But if you really want to go to this hospital. I hope and pray that you don't get the staff I had to deal with in the E.R. on 9/20/2015 around 12:00p.m. I really hope whoever manage this hospital reads my review and fix these lazy employees attitude or retrain them on why they are working in the E.R. and why they have a job. I'm sure their is a lot of people willing to replace them and take their jobs in a heart beat.

Have been trying to communicate with billing department leave message and still wont get in touch. Very unprofessional, i guess their waiting for your bill to be late in order to charge late fees. Only person being proffesional there is the receptionist she does her best to communicate you with billing. I guess she should be the one to take payments seens shes the only person who answers the phone.

Have been waiting over 3 hours for pre-surgery. Hope it’s not like this on surgery day. Asked the person at the desk if this was normal and she replied “ I wouldn’t know”. I asked her if she worked here and she said she was “filling in”. Not impressed so far.

I had surgery at Legent Hospital February 2022. The hospital required $2500 initial payment. The hospital OVERCHARGED $860 and I have not seen a refund after numerous attempts to recover my money. I filed a lawsuit against the hospital for deceptive practice and DO NOT RECOMMEND Legent Hospital under ANY circumstances. The company may have filed for bankruptcy. Several El Paso physicians used the hospital for minor surgeries but were duped by the hospital and lost out on their investment. I contacted the Texas State Attorney Generals Office in Austin but no help. Legent Hospital appears to have a functioning facility in Tyler and possibly Lubbock, Texas. If you find Legent Hospital as a provider for medical services DO NOT USE.

I recently spent a couple of days at the Foundation hospital on George Dieter and would like to share with you my experience. You see, I had the misfortune of being hospitalized three times in the last three years at two other hospitals owned by the same company. I was quite surprised by the professionalism and courtesy I received from your staff with one exception. First, I had the names of all those who assisted me and I must shamefully admit that I have misplaced it. So let me just say, this hospital had the most polite, the most professional, and the most attentive staff I have ever had the pleasure of attending to my needs. The good people in dietary asked me for my preferred drink(Diet Dr Pepper), they went out and purchased a case from a local convenience store. That is un-heard of service anywhere these days. The Nursing staff was outstanding. They were always on the spot when I needed help. I could go on about you’re Nurses, but they address and corrected any issues I had. The cleaning crew was quick to removing a little mess I made on the floor, but more importantly, the room was immaculate. Now for the negatives I experienced. I had three phone calls from this hospital to remind me of my upcoming hospitalization. All three conversations were of the date of surgery and my portion of the expense and nothing else. The day I show up, they questioned me like I was a moron for not having any of the medical papers i.e. chest x-ray, release from any and all other medical requirements. The next thing was their demand for payment for my portion. I informed them that at no time in the three calls was any mention for any releases being needed. They only focused on the money I would be responsible for and at the time of my admission they were asking for payment first. I stated that I would pay after services were rendered. They sent a person out to us; she called out my name over the entire patrons and stated that I needed to make arrangements to pay my portion. I stated that I would pay in full with cash after services have been rendered. Our admission’s group all most offset the pleasant experience I had. Please share with the following groups I have mentioned above my admiration for the outstanding job they did. I will share this experience with any and all I talk with. John

Great patient care and customer service. The facility is very well taken care of and very clean. The staff above friendly and caring. All nurses made me feel safe and were always attentive from the start. I recommend this hospital for any surgical procedure. By far the best hospital on the eastside. Thank you!

Terrible Service! Just came into the ER in terrible pain. The Dr comes in and does a brief check up so as soon as he lowers the bed I start screaming in pain. He then says he’s ordering a Ct scan. He walks off and leaves me terrible pain so of course I’m screaming. He comes back and tells me to stop screaming because my “screams aren’t credible”. ????? I then tell him I’m in pain so of course I’m going to scream and if he doesn’t like it I’ll just leave and go to another hospital where Dr’s are have a little more sympathy for their patients but that he better know that I’m placing a complaint. He then tells me that he needs to make sure that I’m not a drug addict going around hospitals “shopping” for medicine. Im sorry, but I take that as a pretty serious accusation. I do plan to do something about it. His accusations are uncalled for. I must say that he didn’t say this calmly or quietly, he was pretty much yelling. I’m sure the people in the room next to me and in the waiting area heard. This has left me feeling so humiliated. If I could put 0 stars, I definitely would.

If i could give it zero stars i would. I am here right now getting an x-ray in my knee and the receptionist in the front was very rude to another patient. She is blowing him off when he is trying to get help. He is crying in the waiting room and she is not helping him at all and she was very rude and was having an attitude with him. When i turned around to look at her she just shook her head and rolled her eyes. I am very disappointed on how your staff is treating your patients and i will not be coming here again. She is an older lady with blonde hair and wears a smart watch.
