    The place is beautiful and always clean. Staff is super nice BUT NP Rocha is so rude & sarcastic. She makes me extremely uncomfortable, and she has the worst facial expressions when it comes to asking questions. She shouldn’t be treating any young women if she’s going to be sarcastic and rude everytime we ask something personal. She seems bothered for everything. While she was calling Walmart for my prescription she made a racist comment about the pharmacist having trouble understanding because she was “not from our language”. Extremely unsatisfied with every one of my appointments there I thought she was only having a bad day the first time she treated me but I guess she just hates her job that badly.

    These people have rescheduled my appointment at least three different times! They schedule my appointment then call me the day before to reschedule! Definitely not a good place for women’s health. Also, their phone line is always tied up and one time they hung up on me while I was trying to schedule an appointment and never called me back. If I could give zero stars, I would.

    I went to UMC East to take my mom to become a new patient for Dr. Brito. When we first started addressing my moms problems, she quickly dismissed any info that was given. She tried to say that her hands weren’t deformed, ultimately patronizing her the entire time. Later, when doing lab work, I overheard Dr. Brito with other staff members gossiping and talking bad about my mom while on her lunch. She said that the Dr before her turned her into a drug addict. I couldn’t believe what I saw and heard and to imagine her being alone and going through this made me even more upset. I am going to make sure I do everything in my power to assure this gets handled appropriately. It’s upsetting to know there’s doctors out there that take advantage of people that are ill.

    The worst experience I ever had in my whole life .. omg it’s my first time to use this hospital because it’s near to my job and I need medicine and a doctor they give me appointment by 5:00 pm and I’m there around 4:30 they just call my name almost 7 pm and they still not do what they need to do.. they left me in the room and guess what? Almost of the nurses just chatting each other and laughing and talking diff kind of issue instead to taking care of their patient.. we like 5 patient there that so Pissed and I talk to the nurse that maybe I can go home because I need to pick up my kids but no they don’t care and still the time is running so I left without my result is done .worst ever for me.

    Warning. The people up front are EXTREMELY rude they think they are all that but they have repeatedly discriminated against me for being Transgender. I often feel like the lady up front laughs at my situation..she's right up front as soon as you walk in she has one of those attitudes that you just know she's not fit for that job. Cinthia Pedroza. Not friendly at all. Too bad.

    Absolutely disgusted on how they treated me at this hospital. They had me wait for hours in pain just for them to just tell me to take over the counter medication when i had an ear infection. Brought it up to the doctor again about my ear pain and i felt as he forcefully had to give me the pills for my ear.. how are you a hospital and you don’t want to help anyone that comes in.

    I came to UMC to drop off a sample for labs. The phlebotomist Angelina was very rude because I didn't register like everyone else and that I can't just drop off a sample that wasn't done in there lab. She also rolled her eyes at me. I wasn't aware of the process for dropping off a sample. Very unprofessional.

    This place is getting from good to worse I go to George Dieter facility used to get my blood tests right next do facility now I have to go to George Dieter doctor ,Joe battle for lab work with what use to take 5 minutes now takes hours on joe battle and the employees don't smile they all look like robots straight faced people.. What a mess!!

    Horrible service. 2nd time in same week visit, I needed to extend my doctor's note to get one more day off since I was not well enough to go back n they said it could not be extended. So i had to see the doctor again, of course another bill but I glad since I was not well enough to go back to work.

    Sadly, something has changed, and not for the better. I have been trying to reschedule an appointment, that was canceled by my doctor, for TWO WEEKS now. I’ve called several times and have been left on hold for over ten minutes every time. I have yet to speak to an actual human. This has become a business with horrible customer service instead of the wonderful care-giving place it once was. Very disappointed.

    The worst worst worst experience ever and I am a doctor myself, the wait time was pathetic, the waiting for labs took another eternity but wait I am not done yet, my prescription was handled miserably and so were my labs, I called in 4 times, no one replied and eventually left messages on the relevant voicemail but got no response. In the end, I just went back and closed my account. Please avoid this place unless you love horrible treatment as a patient.

    This is by far the most stressful change of PCM that I'd ever had in my 14 years of military service. they will give you the run around just to schedule to meet with the new provider. They don't even deserve this one star rating. Avoid this clinic at all cost.

    Good morning am Araceli Garza Delgado I have a complaint against the center. Today I had my appointment at 11:00 I received a call requesting to be at 10:30 For a better service. I arrived at 9:50 As they saide. I set on middle of the lobby for better hearing when they call me.The time pass and nobody calls me from left to right side of the building. I go to the front desk and asked why still dnt calls me ,if already pass 1hr and 20mints. They look each other like they dnt know nothing! And turn to talk in English trying ask each other what happened. I get into the conversation in English showing the am I completed understand what they trying to do. Of course I was very upset. The lady talk to me kind of upset and said,they calls you 3 times and no unswerd. I respond.not true! I not move at all from my seat,till know. She said,well. Came with me to register you,and they will calls you when they ready. I told her how much long I need to wait. She respond I dnt know,is about the am. I said. Is not right I have to wait more longer for ur Mistakes. I hope SOMEBODY CAN DO SAMETING,not only for me Is ALOT elderly people; they CAN'T HEAR, or UNDERSTAND. IMAGINE IF THEY DO IT TO ME,THAT I CAN EAR! AND I HAVE TO LOSE A DAY TO BE SEE IT BY A DOCTOR. O DON'T WANT TO IMAGINE,HOW TREAT TGEAM!!!     Very poor performance in general I had to give a star, for this rating to post But this place deserves a zero star rating Every single person behind the reception desk … literally have poor customer service They are extremely rude, treat all patients like trash I know y’all see a lot of patients, and it can get overwhelming….. but WOW Even the man I spoke with Chris, he literally rolled his eyes at me. And that’s that he is a patient representative….. You’re a representative of the clinic… so that explains why every employee is rude as F.. Very very rude Poor communication skills, whether in person or by phone

    Absolutely disgusted by the way they treat there patience. Expect us to be patient but completely skip you to get other things out the way I’ve been waiting in the parking lot for 2hrs while seeing people come and go and get the help they needed when all I came in for was to get a quick diagnostic from feeling sick and maybe some medicine to lower my fever and sinuses. If that’s what they’ve been doing to there patience I honestly recommend going to any other location for medical attention instead of this one I’ve been to other locations around El Paso including the providence east campus and even they serve you better and they have more people on a daily basis i only came to this one because my mother comes here for the pharmacist but honestly your better off going to the doctors somewhere else and then Walgreens would’ve saved more time and less frustrating

    I would definitely like to thank Dr Elizabeth Reyes for being my health care Doctor at UMC East Clinic Joe Battle. She is very experienced knowledgeable and has always recommended me to the correct specialist at UMC and is a very caring and professional Doctor. I am very comfortable talking with her about my health issues. She is so passionate and understanding about my well being. She treats me like a true person everytime I have a doctor's appointment to go see her. She should be rewarded for her outstanding services for her amazing work as a Doctor in El Paso Texas.     Stay away! This place is the worst. They will incorrectly bill you for terrible care, make false promises, ignore phone calls and voicemails, and the list goes on. Save your health and the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.

    I made an appointment specifically for this location because it’s the closest one to me, so I asked for permission in my job so I could go get checked. My appointment was at 10 am, I arrived 20 minutes early. Turns out they made my appointments all the way to the west side, which I never asked for, and I specifically said EAST clinic and they even asked “the one by joe battle” and I said yes. I stayed there for 3 hours. For a 15 minute check up, couldn’t event tell me what was wrong, and oh the doctor forgot to order my medicine, if it wasn’t for the lady that gave me my next appointment papers that mentioned that the doctor didn’t prescribe any medications I wouldn’t have gotten my medicine. Staff is friendly but their system is awful. Won’t be coming back to me second appointment

    I hate bringing my mom to this place. They always give her the run around. I use to work at a Drs office so I know when they try to give me the run around. I called to make an appointment for her and ask for referrals they gave me the run around. It's sad an annoying to be waiting 30+min to get to a live person and they give your the wrong information or say any type of excuse to get you off the phone. Why can you all just do your job!! Even if it take that extra step, then clients would be bothering so much! Today I spend about 3+hrs In Total on the phone just to try and get a situation Handel how sad! I can't imagine my poor mother who is 60 years old and has to be dealing with this UMC location.

    UMC ER visit: The visit was pleasant the staff were great, the nurse was kind you can tell she loves her job. She made me feel comfortable and well taken care of, keep up the great work Nancy and Crystal! the doctor Jacqueline Mauer was great she was sweet and professional. Was out in less than 2 hours. Thank you for the outstanding care! ❤️

    They did not want to see me after Dr asked to come back. What good is having blood test results if you can't read them? Oh but they'll be happy to charge you high amounts for the lab work

    When I was searching for a physician it was frustrating. I called 15 locations and wow customer service is interesting in El Paso . Finally someone mentioned UMC. I called and got an appointment for the east hassle free. My first experience was not good until I met my now Physician Dr Flores . Omg he is the best doctor I could have asked for. Great doctor I would give him 100stars . So friendly, caring , explains everything in detail . Highly recommend him. Thanks UMC for Dr Flores

    Doctors always late and they charged me twice for the same doctor visit because the doctor changed the dates and I got charged for both dates .. the original scheduled date and the new date he scheduled since he couldn’t make it the original date . Got told if I didn’t pay they would ruin my credit .

    It all depends on the doctor you get assigned. Unfortunately, I found 2 that are amazing. But to finally get to them it took 4 years of horrible, pass the buck, do nothing doctors. If you get, a do nothing doctor, switch doctors and keep changing them until you find a good one. Once you do, they will provide awesome care. The administration and nursing staff are great.

    The ER clinic was very respectful and courteous. The registration was simple and the form was very easy to fill out. UMC - East Clinic also accepts VA community care (ensure you fill out your emergency care form on the VA website for authorization). Please provide your VA card when checking in for confirmation. I was seen right away and the nursing staff and doctor were attentive. I do not remember the doctor’s name but he was very friendly and explained everything clearly and fully. I highly recommend this ER if emergency care is required.

    The staff here is very awesome. I have been in and out of hospitals, clinics, and doctors offices since I was born. I’m 27 now. I have quite a bit of a history/stories/experiences of my own. Just at the tip of giving up honestly on myself. The people I’ve encountered here has made me care for myself once again. I’m grateful for the staffs dedication for the work they chose to do. Especially with everything going on in the world .

    Very bad service. Was on hold for 30 minutes and they kept transferring me. They cancelled my appointment with Lupita Garcia. I was waiting for almost a month and now they want to give me an appointment until January UMC has very bad service.

    Beware! Presently, they lack hygiene measures. You would assume that sanitary precautions are being taken at this crucial time--none. They have sanitizer (the type of container that everyone touches rather than the automatic foam dispenser) and that's about it. ER area -nothing at all. Nothing is being sanitized! Everyone shares the same seats and the same pressure machine is used for everyone without being sprayed or cleaned. Even the pen to sign in is shared from patient to patient regardless of cause for being there and severity of symptoms. Also, they are very unorganized and unprepared. The tech jumps from person to person. I left asap!

    I have never felt SO uncomfortable and disrespected calling the front desk to just notify you guys that I had just missed a call from you all for my results that came in. I received a voicemail from Lupe, asking me to call back. The first time I called, i spoke with Monica, i was in the middle of telling her I had missed a call from Lupe, she asked me from what side of town, I said east side, and completely cut me off while I was speaking and just transferred me. I didn’t let that upset me, it was fine. She transferred me, and it rang for a good two minutes, and no one answered. So I called back, again, Monica answers, AGAIN, I was in the middle of explaining to her that no one had answered the first time, and she AGAIN decided to cut me off while I’m speaking and transfers me. This time, I knew she was wrong for doing this twice, so I hang up and call back again to speak with HER so that she can direct me to a manager/director, but of course, another lady answers the phone this time. (Cannot remember her name) but I just want to say to Monica, get another job if you can’t be polite enough doing front desk!!! Did not want to call back and deal with all this mess so early in the morning! That is the reason for my message. By far the most rude front desk experience i have ever dealt with.

    ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES: I recently moved to East El Paso & I need a new Primary Care Physician. Called to check if they were accepting new patients & to make an appointment if possible. Was ON HOLD for 8 to 10 minutes before anyone picked up. Then put back on hold for another 5 minutes before I finally gave up. If you cannot answer the phone in a timely manner, I don't want to bother with a wait time that would probably be a nightmare ... not to mention what kind of care I would receive. You'll probably die waiting!!!

    Doctor wouldn’t see me at all for not doing some labs even thought I had some questions like getting a glucose monitor but he wouldn’t even see me paid for no reason just to set there for a hour and being told that I he won’t see me that to me is really unprofessional will not be going here again

    I was on hold for 5 minutes, the person that answered the phone did not understand my accent and put me on hold for another 7 minutes. Finally, another person answered, I tried to explain what I needed and what happened before and she kept saying "how can I help you" it seems like she couldn’t hear or understand me, OR SIMPLY THEY DO NOT LIKE SPANISH SPEAKING PEOPLE IN THAT OFFICE.

    The worst customer service ever there automated answering system is the worst I stayed on the phone for waiting and waiting for an answer and get hung up on . All I needed to see is if they have the medication I needed for my sister in stock because they never have it in stock so I have to go to all there locations and still wait for it to come in and with out this medication she gets very very sick I don’t know how many times I have to explain this to them every single time .

    Do not recommend this clinic if always full and if u have ultrasound program be prepare to be at least 3 hours it is horrible on the “appointment” theres no such thing as appointments the take u in whenever they want last time in here this has not ben my first time waiting hours to complete an appointment

    Horrible service, I had an appointment at 4 pm after waiting for an hour in the lobby at the end they called me and made me wait for an hour and 20 minutes in the room and nobody ever went to tell me what was going on, in the end I decided to leave and I hope never come back

    Very disorganized. Arrived early to my appointment, finally got called after one hour of waiting to fill out paperwork. I left after another 45 minutes of waiting because other people that had only been there for 15 minutes got called in to be seen. Receptionist said it seemed like a long wait to us but it really wasn’t. Ridiculous! Total waste of time!

    They charge you a $20 cancellation fee if you don’t show up to an appointment, but then never answer the phone when you call to cancel? Make it make sense. I’ve been charged for appointments I try to cancel in advance, and I will be on hold for an hour and they will STILL not answer. This is outrageous. I don’t know why it’s so hard to answer the phone. I’ve been transferred multiple times to cancel my appointment and they still do NOT answer.

    My dr was cool at first but doesn't care about my health concerns instead gets upset and says she is blunt then lectures me. Nurses didn't give me things I needed to complete further testing. Gonna find a new dr.

    Excellent customer/patient service: Agile, friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and more goods. PCP treated my health concerns, but I’d like my health state to be explored furthermore to find out more about the healthcare that I need.

    I was here for over 2 hours just so my son can get his shots … and he had an appointment , also there was only five of people in the waiting area, what a waste of time, I had switched him to this clinic because they used to be kinda fast compared to most clinics but clearly that’s no longer the case

    Good luck trying to schedule an appointment, you are immediately turned away to call. They don't except walk ins and will not help you schedule an appointment over the phone. I was told to call every day to check for openings which sounds ridiculous. Apparently they cannot schedule appointments during the week, month or year.

    Very unprofessional, there were ants in the bathrooms, one guy nurse kept hitting on me, tried to use the hb pressure armband as a tourniquet and was empty when he still tried drawing blood, he needed help in which she struggled too, poking me everywhere. One nurse came in peppy and bubbly only to tell me with such a happy tone that I looked sooo sick and very yellow. I guess it was close to shift change, the nurses just kept talking about going to coconuts while ignoring my calls to use the restroom, I was strapped and tangled in wires, I had to wait for the next nurse on duty for assistance. Very very unprofessional.

    Staff is rude, very unprofessional, care more about there personal chit chat vs actually getting work done. To make matters worse the docs have personal opinions vs profesional. Calling people chief or boss instead of your name. I guess they forget patients are actually paying customer's. Dr Flores and Dr V moloko try to keep your personal opinions to your self, your quick to charge but not to change.

    Dr. Leo Altenberg and his staff are really great. Olga and Kimberly are very awesome to work with, they make sure everything is taken care of. Dr. Altenberg makes sure you don’t leave with doubts and all questions answered. I recommend anyone to come here. I referred my mom, sisters, and most recently grandparents and they all love coming here.

    I called to make an appointment for thyroid because I have not seen a Dr for over a year and I have been feeling sick and the lady who took my call told me I have covid symptoms. Even though I have been secluded to my home and wanted to schedule me with the covid group....this is pathetic I know my symptoms and I've had them for longer than before covid began....

    It never fails that there is a 30-40% chance the pharmacy will mess up you order and day. Make.surs to get the name of the person you talk to because they may or may not order everything you confirmed with them, and then they act like it no big deal.we can get it for you in 35-40 min.

    Modern service is already at the forefront, it is very rare that a despotic worker is involved, my primary school is very well prepared and my doctor. From ortho in the west with a lot of knowledge in his subject and the vein dr was not far behind thanks for surpassing the service even from private
