Shrimp albondigas had a tasty menudo flavor! Excellent service!

Tried this place at the recommendation of my bro Steven. I got the sol beer in the michelada glass along with calamari, delicious! The sauce with the calamari was excellent and the batter was crisp. For my main course I had a “Lapa” taco which includes cheese, shrimp, and chorizo. I also tried the shrimp quesadilla and marlin quesadilla. The taco and 2 quesadillas was plenty of food. I’ll be back.

Home of the six dollar taco! my wife and I considered ourselves regulars up until now. Food is great. Service is excellent but six dollars for a taco. Rip off!!!! Won’t be going back!

Love this place! The shrimp broth they serve when you sit down is phenomenal. I always go for the lapa taco, marlin taco, and octopus taco... all of them are so good, my wife loves there tempura tacos (fish and shrimp) . A Cubano with a beer to wash it all down really hits the spot. Everything here is so good, can't wait to come back and get some ceviche. Also gotta mention the toritos... nothing beats a bacon wrapped jalapeño.

The tacos were very good, the campechana cocktail was also good and the portion sizes were very generous, they give you a little shrimp soup to open your appetite. It is a little restaurant with nice/clean decoration. I will definitely come back and try new dishes.

This was definitely a big surprise! This place surpassed every expectation. Food was delicious! Service was prompt, friendly, professional, and fast. Food was fresh, and in perfect condition. Honestly, seafood like this is hard to come by in El Paso. I am so happy I don’t have to across the bridge anymore for good seafood. It was definitely a great experience. Look no further! After being contacted by the owner I appreciate him taking ownership and offering to make things right. We went to eat at the downtown location and that experience was GREAT ! A great place to have food. I have been there for lunch and dinner and both were amazing. The cocktails were amazing as well as the shrimp chili con queso. They also had beer so that was a plus. My kids enjoyed the kids menu and were very satisfied. If you haven't tried its a must.

Food is very good. However, I have been here several times and the customer service is worst than any other restaurant in el paso.

I go very often to eat here I always go for pick up I love the marinero rice and it never fails but real talk today I went in and I got burned rice by far worst I’ve had and it was salty way to salty, and I went and they asked me to park by their wall next to their pick up window and their I guess catering truck and there where the cooks smoking what may have been weed or cigarettes but I didn’t appreciate knowing that those were the individuals making my rice if they have cameras I can tell them exact times and all specifics and I still have my receipt , if they need or require proof I was there so on so forth, to top it off the restaurant was empty not a car or person there so how was it my rice got burnt and over seasoned! I will never step foot near the place again….

We always drive by this place and have wanted to stop in for ages. So glad we finally did! Went for a day date and thoroughly enjoyed everything - ceviche, marlin empenadas, tacos: octopus, marlin, Lapa Lapa. The service was fantastic, ambiance lovely. We'll be back soon...with our kiddos (kids menu avail!)

Had the marlin empanadas. It was very good. Came with some sauce I give them ????. Also had the shrimp tempura tacos. Best tacos ice had in a while. When I walked in it was nice and quiet with some music playing. I got a seat right away. The servers were very friendly and helpful.

I think I was expecting and nicer atmosphere, but pretty plain and casual. They said their other locations we fancier and bigger! Food and sauces were good. Enjoyed the Lapa ceviche. Had the fried whole black bass, good but not great. Needed some kind of sauce. Good sangria! Valentina was very good at explaining what everything was, because there are not dicriptions on the menu. Didn't like that! The trace letches was very good for dessert!

The best of the west! My favs: shrimp soup & shrimp quesadillas.

The seafood was good and the service was nice. We ordered the fish ceviche, green aguachiles, lapa tacos, red snapper, a side of fries, shrimp chile con queso and beer tempura fish tacos. Standouts were the lapa tacos (shrimp) and the fish ceviche. They offer beer and soft drinks as you would expect. Parking lot is tiny, but the place, including the restrooms were nice and clean. If you're a seafood lover, definitely check them out.

Food was excellent! Our family had a shrimp queso starter followed by shrimp tacos , fish and chips and the breaded filet and they were all very tasty. The manager was very nice. We will definitely come back to this quaint, hidden spot

What a great little spot! Delicious, simple seafood dishes at excellent prices. With just 12 tables and 7 seats at the bar, they have created a light, pleasant, welcoming atmosphere with no fuss and great seafood. We had the large shrimp cocktail as an entree-- a dozen shrimp in a refreshing and flavorful gazpacho. We had the fish fillets "a la plancha" for our other entree, which was perfectly prepared and served with a simple white rice and fresh letttuce and tomato salad. The tiny mugs of seafood consomme were a nice touch, and paired especially well with the fillets. The server was super nice and just attentive enough without being intrusive. A delicious, fresh seafood lunch for not much more than McDonald's combo meals! A rare find-- visit if you can!

I love it here !! They have the best marinero rice 😍 and the marlin quesadilla is great. I also tried fish chicharron for the first time and I will always get that from now on. Everytime I’ve been here the service is good and they serve you pretty fast. The consome they give complimentary is super good. The best part? THEIR PAYMENT METHOD !! They give you a receipt with a QR code for apple pay. YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR WAITRESS TO PICK UP YOUR CARD! Uff that is just like the mostest convenient payment ever. Every restaurant should have it. Is just great. Definitely come and get your marinero rice, fish chicharron and a michelada!

I haven’t been to their brick and mortar since I only discovered them through Door Dash in quarantine so I can not comment on the service or interior of the restaurant but this has to be the best seafood restaurant in El Paso. Every single item I have tried from them was absolutely delicious. The empanadas de marlin are more of a fried taco and has to be my favorite item aside from the aguachiles. Like all of them. Try all of them! Anything with the marlin is amazing. Even their lemonade is super good and you can tell it is made in house. The prices are reasonable and portion sizes are perfect. Do yourself a favor and don’t order the damn sirloin tacos at this place. You will be missing what this place is about, great seafood.

We've been at LapaLapa several times. Food is very good and prices are reasonable. We like to start with marlin empanadas which we love. They dough is made out of corn and it is served with a fresh slaw on top that gives a special kick to the dish. I highly recommend them. On this occasion we also ordered green aguachile. Very good but I would recommend they change the presentation which was very unappealing, but as I said, the taste was great. My husband enjoyed a red snapper which was fresh and made to perfection. I ordered shrimp tacos and my son ordered Lapa tacos which were also very delicious. Lapa tacis are shrimp tacos with asadero cheese and chorizo, a tasty combination. Overall, everything we've tasted the occassions we've been there has been very fresh and delicious.

Really good seafood place! Quick service and a quaint, “in the neighborhood” type feel. Prices are VERY reasonable, bordering on cheap. Grilled fish fillet entree for less than $10 is a steal in my book. You also get complimentary chips/salsa. Our waitress also gave us little cups of the shrimp broth to try.

Love eating there

A few weeks ago my husband and I met for lunch. I postponed writing this because the thought of this place made me nauseous. I found a worm like insect inside my queso fundido with shrimp. They did remove this from our check and I was too nauseated to argue or truly complain about this. We did pay for my husband ceviche and drinks but I will never ever return. Even writing this post is nauseating me.
