Nice park, only problem is they close and lock the bathrooms too early. When you have that many people there, don't close the bathrooms. And some exercise equipment would be good.

Close to home and fairly clean. Facilities were pretty gross, and a LOT of broken glass, whichwas concerning having my kids walking around. Seen several people with dogs, seen a few of them leave their dog's droppings. Over all, a decent little community park.

We love this park. My family and I go all the time. It has several poke stops and is always clean. The group of people that go to the park are all nice and friendly. Compared to other parks; the tennis court is large, nice net and paint still visible. I’m new to the area and thanks to this park.. I feel more at home.

Sunrise Park was a pleasant surprise during our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We walked around the park on three separate days. The outer sidewalk is a half mile loop. It's uphill and downhill for a little extra workout. I noticed the park has basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, shade structures, and benches. We walked at 9 am and it was quite every day. The park is dog friendly.

Pickleball players beware. It is a lovely park with decent amenities. There are 4 marked courts but no nets. Bring it with your paddles and balls.

Went here to play basketball with some friends and the court was actually really nice. I liked that the courts were fenced off so that the ball wasn't rolling out into the streets

Quiet park, the courts needed some TLC and were recently updated and they are adding some equipment throughout! Nice little park to get a quick jog with beautiful views in the morning. I can definitely see where the name came from.

Sunrise Park has been the go-to park to play pickelball since pickelball started in El Paso. It has also been a place to start for many seniors, couples, military service men, and women. Now that many senior centers and the cities parks and recreation centers have started to include pickelball, Sunrise Park seems more lonely. I train there for the various sports the city has for the senior games. Minor leages train football there and many play other sports in the evening. There are restroom facilities and picnic areas. People walk their pets, and others run around all day long. Lights come on when it gets dark until ten. It has always been a safe place to go.

Not too much people. Serene and big space with good size playground. You can also avail a party hall through parks and recreation.

Alot of older kids not letting the little ones play on swings, slide, etc... and using drugs, potty mouths in front of everyone.. it wasn't like this when I was a little girl, so sad...

From the looks, nice family friendly park. If you choose to walk, each lap is a half mile. Currently a decent spot for pokemon go players. Dogs allowed with poop bags at your disposal.

As long as you watch your kids and dogs and be watchful if graffiti and other messages kids like to leave then a nice park for a quick picnic.

  • 4/5 Kyle T. 4 years ago on Google
Acres of green grass, complete playground with sun shades (on 1 out of 3 LOL), swings, basketball courts, and a party hall available. Good family area

Short walk from our house. Plenty of things to keep all age groups busy (tennis and basketball courts, picnic tables, kids playground areas). Nicely kept grounds.

Medium sized public park in Northeast El Paso. Tennis courts, basketball court, playground and plenty of open grass make this a great park to bring the kids.
