The food was good as usual however, I wouldn't recommend getting the guacamole not worth the money nothing extra in it just avocados lime and salt. The most disappointing thing was the service, we were visiting from Missouri and chose to eat at Casita Lindas since we loved eating there when we lived in El Paso for years. However, since we were traveling we didn't want to have leftovers with no where to put them so we shared plates. The waitress was upset that we were sharing and barely talked to us after ordering and just tossed our food on the table without saying anything and in a rude manner. She had asked you're not ordering anything else. We almost left but we had been anticipating eating there since we started our 15 hour journey. She got a little nicer towards the end but her body language was still filled with annoyance and she just dropped the stuff off and left. Passed us the check without asking if we were ready etc. It was sad especially during these times to be treated that way by a place we used to frequent. With so many options of places we wanted to eat while visiting I feel we could have had a better experience with similar food elsewhere. The gorditas at the clock are similar and are picadillo style with beef, potatoes and onions. It's a good alternative option for a fried gorditas.

Delicious!!! My pregnancy cravings for enchiladas were fulfilled and then some. Amazing food, very reasonable prices, super friendly staff. I will definitely come back next time I get a craving! Seriously unmatched flavor-wise.

Ate here a month ago with my parents. I can honestly say the salsa at the table was terrible and the queso with sausage had so much grease that no one wanted to touch it. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because our very rude waitress may have just been having a bad shift. I'm seeing a lot of good reviews and we were told to try the restaurant by a local, so maybe our experience is not one to base it off of, but it was disappointing to say the least

This was our First Time to patronize Casita Linda Mexican Family Restaurant. Briefly, food prices are excellent. Wait staff are extremely helpful, if you need to know about a particular food dish or entre listed on their menu. They are very polite and responsive to the customer. Food is extremely good, served very hot from the kitchen, and portions are generous. The menu, consists mainly of Mexican Food dishes, but they do offer various steak and shrimp entres. On this occasion the restaurant was packed full of customers and families. We will visit again soon and try some of the "other" Food Dishes, on their menu. We scored just 4 stars, but only because the restaurant vehicle parking spaces were full, front to back, so more parking lot space really needs to be expanded (if possible). Food and Service rates 5 stars. This was a wonderful dining experience! Rated 4 stars only because of the less than adequate "Parking Area" "Thank you" to all of the restaurant staff.

Place is clean, staff is friendly. Sat down on a crowded Wednesday lunch rush. Had to wait 33 mins and ask our server about our order. She finally brought it out. My mother got the Relleno plate combo. I went for my go to, Green chile chicken enchiladas. Both plates were not spicy. 🥲 My mother's red sauce had good flavor, her taco was the best tasting thing on the plate. My green Chile sauce was overall bland. I was super hungry, especially after the 30 min wait. I added their salsita for extra spice and digged in. The sopapilla we're excellent 👌 though. Would order that for to-go for home. Over all it felt like I was eating at Pancho's very Texmex flavor than I am accustomed to.

We had the ground beef tacos and they were amazing! Perfect spices and served hot. I ordered unsweet tea without ice and it was delicious, not weak or stale. The young man who served it, not sure of his name maybe Thomas- had dark hair, took great care in serving it. The salsa was fresh and spicy! Sopapillas were a little thin, I think they changed to a different mix, but still good. The cooks are doing a phenomenal job! They should get a well deserved start of year bonus! This is the best Mexican food ever!

Great food and friendly staff. The wait was a little long on that Sunday afternoon however worth it in the end because the food was exceptional and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Area is very convenient maybe 10 min from base. That was a plus. I did recieve some free sopapillas for the extended wait time which was very yummy. I will be going back to try other food on the menu 😀

Recivede my food, so I thought. Get home missing one plate. Another plate was not right went back to get the plate that wasn't there. Acted like I was lying it was there fault but they took my money. The enchiladas had no flavor had to heat everything back up. Use to love going there can't say I will ever go back. Now the other 4 people that recirculation this not so great food. Don't order take out that's for sure.

Always consistent food. All the Mexican dishes are great even their hamburgers are cooked well and good quality. Their daily specials are a great deal and come with the extras. Older decor, but always courteous and efficient staff.

I ordered the large plate with chili rellanos, enchilada with green sauce, tamale, Plus more more and more! The sopapilla are light and hold the honey perfect! I’m not from El Paso but this is my go to Mexican food while I live here! Very yummy...

1st time at this restaurant. I ordered a combination plate that consisted of chile verde (no broth), tamale, chile relleno, a taco (ground beef with usual toppings lettuce tomato cheese), red chile enchilada (cheese) topped with diced onion. I like that they let you choose between green or red enchilada. I was blown away by their chile relleno and the sauce. Like WOW! Been eating chile rellenos, in El Paso, since I was a kid. NO ONE comes close to this. Great job! The enchiladas sauce is pretty good, and I hope it's made in house. If so, huge plus. Now the bad. 😔 The tamale wasn't good. Had almost a corn cake type consistency and very, very dry- overcooked? And the enchilada sauce was poured over it which didn't help matters. The meat was good though, so it wasn't a total loss. The taco COMPLETELY DESTROYED my palate. The taco shell tasted and smelled of old oil and was burned at the bottom which just killed my appetite. I usually start with a taco and some beans, and I'm glad I didn't this time. The beans they were salty by a lot. The rice had a few suprises of clumps of hard grains of rice which was not pleasant when majority of the food servings are softer or mushy, so you don't expect it and takes away from a pleasant meal, LOL. Maybe because it was close to closing time the quality of the items above was lacking. I didn't get to eat the chile verde stew, because of the taco experience, but I'll save that for tomorrow with the guacamole and rest of rice. Maybe I'll update review. They also hooked it up with a sopapilla with some honey, so huge plus for giving me desert. The incredibly delicious chile relleno, the fact that they included guacamole and the sopapilla are some of the highlights. On top of that, the price was reasonable for everything I recieved. The biggest highlight was that the waitress/host/cashier (not sure LOL) was great, super friendly, and it was **genuine**. The manager or owner was there and he was also very welcoming and friendly. He had a **real smile** behind his words when offering assistance and checking on my order. Honestly, best customer service I have received at a Mexican restaurant in El Paso - and that was just a to-go order around closing time 🤣. Atmosphere was good from what I saw when scanning the inside waiting for my food. Come to think of it, I'm definitely gonna give it another shot. Good service goes a long way, and I was deeply impressed with the chile relleno. That's proof enough that they can put out a high quality product.

First time at this place, went for lunch, noticed lots of people inside and very full parking lot, popular place! Staff was very friendly, service was great. Ordered combo plate and was able to customize items no problem to what i liked, such as adding shredded beef to enchiladas etc. Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty Was surprised how generous the servings were, shredded meat tacos and enchilada were great. Not to spicy, not too bland. Of course beans and rice, Just right. The price was nice and was surprised that free serving of sopapillas are served for desert. In my opinion better than a lot of Mexican restaurants In the neighborhood. The crowd tells all. Always jumping. Will go back again.

The food was fantastic as usual and worth every penny. The jalapeno chicken enchiladas were delicious with just the right amount heat. I really enjoyed them. M'm, m'm, well you know the rest. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican food.

The carnitas tasted excellent. The guacamole along with the beans and service was good. I love the decor! The only thing that didn't match the excellence of the other items was the chips and salsa. They seemed a bit plain. Go for the food! My family lives their meals as well!

Two stars for prices and staff friendliness. But this is the worst Mexican food I've had in El Paso. The carnitas were so tough as to be inedible, and fries were awful. I don't mind spicy salsa as long as there is some flavor to discern, but theirs was one-note -- just hot. Complete waste of money and time. I'm not sure why it was so busy or full - maybe I just picked the loser item on the menu, but it was a true loser. So disappointing.

Food was ok. As a solo diner they don't round as frequently as tables with multiple guests. I am a solid tipper but the yesterday made this to be a last trip. I wish them well, but not on my business again.

Most of our food was terrible. After waiting about 40 minutes for our food, my food was cold, and my wife's food was so hard she couldn't cut into it. The chips they served were stale, but the salsa was decent. My kiddo got a burger and chips, and that was good overall. We had a couple of servers that helped us. One was very attentive but disappeared after some time. The second just did not seem to care. We left most of our food at the table and spent $70. On the way out, I mentioned to the waitress the quality of the food, and she said, "Oh, ok," and walked away. Unfortunately, in this experience and a prior visit, it's just not the same Casita Linda.

Casita Linda is an excellent Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent, service is great and staff is very friendly. They have daily specials (carnitas on Tuesday’s is the best!) and their tortilla soup is amazing! If you are in this area, please give Casita Linda a try, you will not be disappointed.

Hands down, it's a must try if you're in El Paso. Stay away from the chorizo tho for it's a bit salty, but everything else was phenomenal. To be honest I kinda tried the chorizo for the first time there, but I also had the best steak tacos ever there in my life. Whenever I go back down there I will most likely stopping by there along with Wing Daddy's.

Got home with a chimichanga plate. They only put about three bites of beans and rice. Not even a kids meal worth. Sour cream is dried out and it's just flavorless ground beef diced tomatoes in a soggy crust tortilla.

What a complete disappointment. Brought some friends here from out of town to show them what a good authentic Mexican restaurant was like in El Paso. We could not have made a poorer choice. We seated ourselves and waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. None of the food came out together. For was cold. Service was some of the worst I've ever had.
