I used to go to their old locations on the West and Lee Trevino. I must say I AM SO HAPPY THAT THEY’RE BACK!! I have tried other Ramen spots in town and hands down YAMAGUCHI is where it’s at. The food here is fire 🔥! Their new spot is bigger AND now has a full bar which is awesome. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Friday evening dinner with my wifey and daughter. The service started off slow but once we sat down it was very good. The have little call buttons on the table that whenever you needed service just press the button. The atmosphere was pumping. The music was not too loud. The decorations were very cute and the anime playing on the big screens were a favorite for my daughter. The blacklight artwork in the back was so cool. As for dinner and the drinks. It was awesome. Started off with a pork belly Charsu in a steamed bun. Then I had the spicy tonkatsu, wifey had the seafood ramen, and my daughter had the plain tonkatsu. The drinks were very good as well. The paleta shots were yummy, the girls had a lychee refresher, and I had a Kirin. Definitely coming back but hope the place at least gets a hostess to help with welcoming customers and seating.

Yamaguchi Ramen is the new contender for Ramen in El Paso. The atmosphere and ambiance is amazing. I love the motifs that had to do with Hawaii. I chose the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It was much spicier than their competition, Kaedama! I love everything about the Ramen. The little Toreado that was chopped into the Ramen gave it even a more complex, yet delicious flavor. I recommend going back. I will try their Gyoza since I was in rush.

Moved to EP about 7 months ago and the wife and I love Ramen. We had been on a search for a place that was just as good as our fave place back in Austin. This one took the pot! We did the Build your own Bowl and was super impressed with the flavor and just the overall presentation of the food. Very delicious and will be coming again for sure! Waiter was extremely helpful and super attentive. Keep up the good work and quality!

You know a place is good when they’re always full. Great options and add-ons. Price is fair and service is top notch.

I loved the atmosphere although music could be a tad bit less loud. Ramen wasnt the best got medium spice and was given something too spicy to enjoy and this coming from my sister in law who handles heat extremely well even got extra spice on the side (which costs $3 more) which was not used due to how spicy it was... but the appetizers were delicious I had the buffalo wings which were a bit expensive given its only 6 for $10 and takoyaki balls which were my favorite! Drinks were ok wasnt really impressed one of them was way too salty. Service was lacking every question I asked was met with im not sure or i dont know which is fine guess ill find out lol. Overall id just get take out for the takoyaki balls not worth the dine in experience just on atmosphere alone. For the price everything else isnt quite worth it. I still have some things I want to try so when I go again ill update if needed

I am so glad Yamaguchi Ramen-Bar is open! Their new location at 1700 N. Zaragoza is outstanding. The food menu selections, focused on Japanese recipes are out of this world. Yamaguchi also has a bar to complement your meals. It’s a great family restaurant. They have 8 huge TV screens. I encourage you to visit and enjoy the great food, amazing service and outstanding value! This is a great restaurant!

Delicious priced ramen that's not Kaedema! Reasonably priced, the broth was great, not too salty or spicy, and good portion of meat and noodles. Also got the mochi ice cream which was great.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Went in with my boyfriend on a Sunday night for a late dinner, about an hour and a half before closing. The restaurant was busy and the only available table was one that sat around 8 people. We were promptly told we could not sit there in case a large party arrived. No solution was offered. The waitress did not ask us if we’d like to wait until another table was available or offer to place a to go order. Needless to say we left and will never come back.

This place was AMAZING!! I had been craving some ramen and 10/10 would eat here/WILL eat here again soon. This place is small ten table place that is Top Chef/Vegas good. As good as any Vegas or high end restaurant we’ve been to ever to. The quality of the food was excellent, the service was on point (great work Jazz-thank you!) and the atmosphere was amazing. We went Saturday night, the place wasn’t crowded at all, had the chashu buns, edamame, wife had the Nagasaki Ramen and I had the Spicy Lobster Ramen. The edamame was hot and very well seasoned. It had a really interesting spice profile that I’ve never had before, probably the best I’ve ever had. I feel like most places give you lukewarm at best edamame with sea salt, these were a little bit spicy and excellent. I could have eaten more and would have eaten more but our other app and main course came out so fast I didn’t have time. The chashu buns were another delight. It was pork belly, soft and tender in a sort of soft steamed bun with a sauce and spices that melted in your mouth. Again, another part of our meal that could have been a meal by it self. The ramen. Woah. At first mine was sooo spicy, but after a while it toned down somehow? I don’t know how, probably dark magic idk but I could and did eat it by the spoonful by the end. My portion had probably the biggest lobster tail I’ve ever had and the most delicious spiced brown lobster butter I’ve ever come across. The battered shrimp were excellent as well, and the broth was divine. I tasted my wife’s Nagasaki ramen as well and it was really sweet, excellent broth. She had naked shrimp and mussels and I think both broths were balanced with the pork belly. The table has hot sriracha, soy sauce of course, and a bowl of the hot chili oil my dish was flavored with. Really cool vibe, very cozy relaxed atmosphere, the TVs has anime or manga or whatever that stuff is totally awesome place. Gonna be regulars. ———-UPDATE!!!——— Went back for lunch today as promised, did an order for carry out. This time I had the ramen my wife had last time, the Nagasaki and my wife had the salmon poké bowl, and we did another round of the chashu pork belly buns. Unfortunately, IT WAS STILL SUPER DELICIOUS!!! So we’re gonna have to keep eating here I guess.

The BEST place for Poke in El Paso. Period! After trying all others out, this place is top notch. The ingredients are top quality and the portions are big! Love this place, and after visiting Maui last year this place is still top notch for being in the desert. Obviously cant compare it to Hawaii because well.... what I said above. Geez I got so out of topic, Haha! Just go there, you won't regret it

El Poke is the place to eat fresh, healthy, delicious food! The options are endless for you to make your favorite dish. The staff is very attentive and the ambiance is great! Fantastic additions to the menu such as Boba Tea, Ramen and Sushi complement your dining experience. El Poke is certainly the place to get the best value for your money.

This was my first time trying ramen and I'm so glad I decided on going here. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to the customers. Their food was absolutely delicious too. I got the veggie gyoza, which was super crispy and savory, and the chicken shoyu ramen, which was really filling. The chicken in the ramen was slightly overcooked but i did not mind it one bit! Overall, I was incredibly satisfied and will definitely be coming back again!

I really wanted to like this place, but I was pretty disappointed with my first experience. The chashu buns were the best thing we ate today. The ramen was okay (I had black garlic tonkatsu and my partner had spicy shoyu). The calamari was awful, it was chewy and weirdly fishy - we sent it back right away. The service was not good. The place was pretty slow, but we barely saw our server. She spent more time at the bar talking to the bar tender and customers at the bar than with us. Our waters weren't refilled and the coke we asked for after we got our appetizer didn't arrive until we were done with our ramen. It really felt like we were an afterthought.

Gone twice now and the food is pretty good (you can tell its fresh). It took us a while to get seated, but our food came out relatively quickly. The portions are bigger than average, a lot of people getting boxes for their leftovers. There's a bar area for drinks where you have a better view of the tvs.

I think I may have found the best ramen place in El Paso. I've gone to a few and I've been disappointed with flavor and consistency. The few times I've been here has been consistent and delicious. I tent to always go for Tonkotsu. The curry one is also great. My kiddo likes the seafood one. The Thai tea is not their strenth but that's not why you come here. Ambiance is nice as well. Highly recommended place.

Ramen taste is about 3/10, doesn’t really have a lot of flavor and the pork my boyfriend got was burnt. Calamari was good but not worth $14 for the little plate. The boba was probably the worst out of everything. The best thing I tasted was definitely the water.

  • 4/5 Dapo A. 4 months ago on Google
Came here for dinner with a friend. Didn’t have high expectations because I’ve been hurt by ramen before. This wasn’t bad. Better than expected. Ramen is the main attraction here so that’s always a plus. The restaurant is a pretty good size with lots of room at the bar and lots of table space. Staff was friendly and attentive. Portions were kinda small and a tad expensive but I’ve had far worse ramen that cost a lot more. 🍜 check this place out.

Food was very yummy!! If you're planning to get the takoyaki please do it was so delicious. I paired it with a taro boba and it was a dream as well. The vibe of the place was fun I love the lights going down the hallway to the bathroom and all of the art. Overall would be coming here again for that takoyaki. ♡´・ᴗ・`♡

I like this Poke place! The value for the amount of food is pretty worth it. Simple and clean service counter with a short but tasty list of toppings. I got tofu as my protein. It was already seasoned well. I also added edamame for another vegan topping. They also have plenty of bubble teas. It's hard enough to find tapioca/boba places in El Paso so luckily they have it here! I also liked the decor. It was very clean, brightly lit, and had board games to play with!

New place for us to try out. Big serving size, lots of meat in my kimchi ramen. I generally liked it, I feel like the meat slices should be a little thinner to eat easier. Other than that good flavor, good price, good portion (usually I can eat a bowl no prob, could not finish this one) would come again. SUPPORT LOCAL!

The food was really good, service was fine, most likely will get better as this is still a new place. I took a star out because of pricing discrepancies. It seems to be a software issue. It charges a little bit more on every items. It was not a big deal as I only had 3 items however it would make a bigger difference for larger parties. I did ask the server about it, but he did not have a valid answer. Still a great value overall, but it needs to be fixed. Will come back.

I absolutely love this place. The ingredients are fresh, there are lots to choose from and creating a delicious bowl is so easy, you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is really nice and friendly. They offer Boba tea in a variety of flavors, I like the slushy type but they have the regular milk tea as well (they also have fountain drinks in case you aren't in the mood for Boba). There are other items on the menu like ramen and poke burritos but I love creating my own bowl. The prices are reasonable and so worth it!

The food is wonderful and fresh. You cannot go wrong with the sweet and savory combo of their Cali bowl with the crab salad, edamame, and crunchy cucumbers. Their ramen is worth getting too, their shoyu is the right amount of salt and counterbalanced nicely with the pork. Their service is on brand and friendly, open to answering questions about their menu. Overall it is a great place to eat at.
