Doctor reviewed medical record for the past 6 months to assure my health issues were currently covered. Doctor ordered lab test and referral to doctor for bone strength. Doctor concerned about my mobility and overall health.

I am so happy a friend recommended Dr. Al for me. From the very first visit my exams have been thorough and any subsequent procedures were handled quickly. Maybe most importantly, he and his staff are organized and professional and I can get in and out of the office usually within a half-hour. That is heads and tails above any other primary care doc I have had where the wait times were much, much longer.

I am new to New Mexico, from Texas where I had the same supportive doctors for years. I had been in Ruidoso, New Mexico for a little over a week when I had a heart attack and was sent to Alamogordo by ambulance. After things settled down, I looked for a Doctor with a good reputation. I have been under Dr. Alqassem's care now since the beginning of 2020 and feel that he and his staff are very caring. I am happy that he is caring for my health.

Can be pretty grumpy and cantankerous at times. Does not trust his patients. Wife went to him for a possible infected finger and when she called get an appointment she was told Dr. Alqassem did not deal eith infected fingers. Kind of odd since he is supposed to be an Internal Medicine physician. Choice of good responsible doctors not good in Alamogordo.

Very professional, very understanding of patient needs and wants. Doctor Alqassem is very clear in prescribing medical solutions for patients. He is up front, honest, and friendly. Exactly what a patient needs from a medical professional.

This place was great. Great customer service, all staff to include doctor very polite and professional. In and out within 30 minutes.

Everything was wonderful from the young man who called me to set up the appt to Dr Al's interview for my further needs. The girl at the desks and Vanessa who was in charge of explaining and scheduling my surgery. I can give it a five or more. Will be glad to return next time.

The appointment was timely and proceeded in a straightforward manner. Ask if I had any questions or concerns. Any scripts, etc, were taken care of.

Dr. Alqassem, MD has consistently taken excellent care of both my husband and me. I feel that our health is in very capable hands with he and his staff, especially Vanessa.

Dr Alqassem and his team are very thorough. They cover every aspect of my health and follow up on previous health concerns. Annual lab tests and prescriptions are ordered promptly. Dr. Al is so easy to talk with and always has good recommendations to help me stay healthy. I have been seeing him for years and plan to continue - a very good doctor who listens and takes time with you.

While Dr Al knows his stuff, he really needs to work on his listening and patience. Most people need time to process info and answer. He can be extremely impatient, not rudely, but does intimidate unintentionally

Dr Alqassem takes time to ‘hear’ you. I feel I was heard and any concerns understood and addressed. In spite of COVID he actually sees his patients and does a physical exam. He and his staff used good universal precautions and screened all patients at the door prior to entering the clinic. Any equipment used was immediately cleaned using aseptic technique. I felt safe and secure in the knowledge the Dr and his staff utilized precautions to keep everyone concerned healthy during my visit. All appropriate orders for follow up were provided and fully explained at the time of my visit. Dr Alqassem expressed he was there anytime I needed to see him and encouraged contact with any future health concerns prior to my next annual exam. His explanation of preventative measures provided good guidelines for health maintenance. Thank you Dr Alqassem!
