Bed bugs. Told the guy and he didn’t seem to understand and told me it was common to have bugs inside in tarifa. He told me he would leave a note for the manager to call me the next day, he never did so I called and was told to call back in an hour when they’d spoken to the manager, I did and the guy hung the phone up on me. Ended up having to spend money washing my clothes and on a new place to stay for my last two nights in tarifa. Still no refund.

BED BUGS in this hostel!!!! The vibe is off only volunteers!! Nobody is staying during the night, it’s not secure!! The volunteers invite people over and drink and play loud music!! Recommand any other hostel!!!

I wish i paid more to stay somewhere else but at check in i had already paid for all 3 nights. The atmosphere here is not nice. I did not feel welcome and i barely interacted with the staff my entire stay. Nice kitchen. Barely ever hot water. Awful showers. The shower water turns off automatically every like 30 secpnds and the bathroom lights are on motion sensors so every moment you have to move around to get the lights back on and turn on the shower again and again. Comfy beds. Nice rooftop.

Very bad hostel. Staff was very unfriendly and the beds were very bad. Moreover, they do not help you with planning your wind or kitesurfing desires. I would recommend going somewhere else.

Nice hostel, a little bit of a walk to the Town center but very close to the beach and the bus station. It's kind of a party hostel so expect people coming into the room at 5 am or similar. Still, all the people I've shared the room with we're very respectful and quiet. The breakfast is good, the staff was a little hangover but very helpful anyways haha.

The receptionist Manuela is the best! All the stars go to her, she was so helpful! The reason why I gave one star less is because of the bad air flow in general in the rooms. But other than that it was fine.

Great experience! Clean, laid back, and the Common areas are comfortable and great to just chill. Made a ton of friends! :) Beach only 5 min walking. Best atmosphere Iv experienced in a hostel. Will be returning soon!! Already miss the staff and locals! Very recommended

Thanks for an amazing holiday in Tarifa! The rooms are cheap, but clean, the Coffee is really delicious and also cheap. You dont have to forget that this is a Hostel and not a hotel. Lovely regards to all employees, you were soo nice and funny. I hope we see us again, best regards from the german guys with the Motorbikes <3

Boring rooms, like a construction site, without ac and individual lights. Some of the staff are helpful and attentive, some are not. I really dislike the vibe- not very familiar and friendly but is definitely the perfect place to stay when going kite surfing with friends. Only cold water in showers.

Stay away from this hostel if possible I unfortunately developed a rash during my stay. I'm not sure if it was due to improperly cleaned bedding or the plastic mattresses that didn't allow sweat to dissipate. Additionally, the room was excessively hot, and the air conditioning could only be controlled from the reception, meaning if you woke up in the middle of the night feeling too warm, you had to make a trip to the front desk. I booked through booking.com and wrote a similar review like this one. I then got an email from booking that my review was disputed because the hostel said that I never checked in. This was obviously just a lie from their side because I checked in and stayed there for four nights. But this shows how they try to manipulate their reviews. Rather than improving their cleanliness they tell lies. Really poor character and management.

Lovely, really clean hostel. The staff were very nice and helpful. Great location to get to the beach or to the big supermarkets.

Wish we had chosen a different place. Most of the time, there is no one at work, doors are shut, and there is no one to communicate with. No one to leave the keys with or ask if you need to rent or towel or have questions. There is no hot water, so it’s impossible to take a shower after an active day. It was off season, so I believe this is why, but wow you just don’t feel welcome. Also the entire hostel is freezing cold, and at night you have to wear all the layers you have with you.

Pretty sad hostel. Weird vibe to it. Mattresses and duvet cover were poor in quality. Not much going on. Not much to do in Tarifa unless you kitesurf.
