This is my review as hotel guest and restaurant client. .::As an hotel::. It's awesome, every room has it's own wifi repeater even if it's a little slow a peak hours. It has modern slim tvs and air conditioning, but the latter isn't as required because the rooms remain cold even during the day thanks to it's rustic structure. Beds are comfortable and the decorating is all you could want from a local-vintage home. The pool is clean and fresh. There plants in the garden really help you feel rested. Everything outside your room is very welcoming as a guest. On the bad side, if you stay in the street side, you might hear loud music from a local bar late at night. The vintage style doesn't always means good when the sink and bathtub has a hard to use design (at least on my room). As the location of the hotel itself. It's really close to many other attractions you could visit on foot. Overall, it really feels like the best there is around. I recommend it. .::As a restaurant and bar::. Main dishes are pretty good but not excelent, I don't think anyone would complain if they give it a go. Breakfast it's also good but not terrific. I don't drink alcohol, but everyone in the group I was with said they didn't like it one bit, and they tried a lot of the available drinks. Overall, I think you can find way better places to eat around this town for the same price, but if you're willing to try it nonetheless, you won't be disappointed, unless you're trying their bar. -------------- .::Conclusion::. If I had to stay again here, I definitely would, but I'll try other places to eat.

Los Almendros de San Lorenzo is the best hotel in Suchitoto. Wonderful accommodations, the restaurant offers delicious dishes, the rooms come with air conditioning. The house is over two hundred years old so it has an amazing history. The portales, paintings also the exhibition of historic and ancient Indians artifacts is truly amazing. The pool area is nice and welcoming, keep your eyes open and you might get to see toucans.

We had a unique experience at los almendros de san lorenzo, The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was very kind. We booked the colonial suite and right after we checked in we were guide by Pascal, he is the owner of the hotel. He took us on a quick tour through the hotel, and told us about the time when Reina Letizia stayed on the hotel. The man was extremely kind and even showed us his office full with art work and vintage furniture. Overall our stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

Beautiful place, rooms are very clean and spacious depending on which one you choose. For the party of 6 I had we got the small apartment which worked out great! Boat tours a must in Suchitoto, beautiful scenery and the breath of fresh air is amazing. The restaurant at the hotel was ok, the service was very slow and we were the only party there at the time. Servers were very courteous and professional and food was delicious 🤤. This hotel does have a pool was is a plus. The pool is well lit at night and very very clean. Breakfast is delicious and you are giving options on what you can get. This place by far has been my to go to in Suchitoto and will continue on going!

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. We spent a week here. The staff was so helpful, and the room and common areas are comfortable, welcoming, and beautiful. It felt like having a second home. There is a collection of art throughout the hotel that was interesting to look at. We also spent a couple of rainy evenings relaxing in the comfortable and well decorated sitting room, sipping wine and lime sodas from the hotel bar. We can't wait to return!

Its a beautiful place, with all the colors of the Suchitoto village. The place is rustic, an ideal for a relaxing time. The personal is helpful and the food is wonderful. I think i could rate it for 5 stars, but one of the AC in the suit room needs maintenance.

Standard room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well made and plentiful. Bar and restaurant exceptional for a small hotel. Garden sitting area, pool and terrace well maintained. Staff very accommodating and professional. Located two blocks from village main square. Felt very safe and secure.

Huge rooms with excellent TV service on beautiful grounds. Location is great since it's only a block from the central square. WiFi is a bit spotty.

Located two blocks from the central park, it offers cozy, clean and nicely decorated rooms. It has two-story suites. Even though the pool is medium size it has 2 mts depth. Breakfast included is served quickly since you choose among 3 options when checking in. Staff is affable and ready to help.

Place looks nice, it has an old town theme. Parking is on the street, however it feels like a safe place to leave your car We were given the stay there but according to my research room costs between $130.00 and $150.00 so I would say is kind of expensive. Room was pretty big though was amazed at the amount of space we had, it seems to be clean, there were some spider webs however is not that big of a deal when you go to a hotel that has a lot of nature around. Breakfast was good. Too little juice for my taste. Glass was small and half full (or empty).

This beautiful hotel has a unique charm with warm and friendly staff. It's close proximity (only one block from the city center) allows you to casually stroll in town on cobble stone roads. Our room was beautiful room was spacious room with a lovely fountain and step down blue tile open shower. The best part was seeing the two owners daily at the hotel. One might be tending the landscape while the other is working on his lap top in the common area. When the owners enjoy being in their hotel, 2nd home, it demonstrates their love of the place. They were both extremely gracious and we plan to return. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This daimond in the rough of a resort may not look like much from the street, but once you come in it is a great little resort, the plants and birds are beautiful and pool is nice offering enough room for two families to have there own space. The bar and wifi were my favorite parts, and being that it is a block away from the market makes it a true local experience.

Stayed here for 1 night during a tour. This was one of the highlights in terms of luxurious stays! The rooms were amazing and the owner was so lovely! We were advised that even the queen of Spain had stayed here. Definitely a place fit for royalty!
