Had an amazing experience at Olas Permanentes! Stayed for 2 nights. The room was fantastic, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. Waking up to a delicious breakfast included in the stay was a delightful start to each day. The beachfront views were breathtaking, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The friendly staff added to the overall charm of the place. Unlike a prior comment about dogs on here, they did not bother us nor did we hear them throughout the night. Affordable resort right on the ocean. Friendly people good service, excellent food. Keep in mind that this is a Hostel so no private bath.

Nice chilled atmosphere, good food, great beach caught a really nice sunset (timed lapse) to me was visiting from the states was reasonably good price I was with family that knew of the place. We didn’t stay as they didn’t have accommodations for that night but it was still a great afternoon the kids had tons of fun trying to get out there when ever possible again definitely.

Server need to be more proactive and attentive, when you need to order, there's no one around and they won't come back to ask if everything was good. I know they get pay few cents at day, so, they need to try to get tips to complement their salary. Food was just ok, but the ocean view was amazing.

Comfortable rooms by the beach. Just missing 1 star on this review as I feel it needs more toiletries like conditioner. Service is great and there is a great variety of food options. $Heads up: $15 minimum consumption per person. I've frequented it over the years and was surprised to get charged a fee but to everyone has their own way to do business. There is a good view from the second story thatched roof Palapa that when coupled with their tasty food and attentive staff, makes the $15 ticket seem easy to spend.

I used both the daytime area and the hotel area. Two different experiences. The upstairs bar area was very nice. WiFi was spotty when available, but the view made up for it. I stayed a few nights and I picked the room with the private bathroom. It was separate from the main hotel and the AC was cold. Unfortunately my shower was not clean at check-in and the host response time after hours was non-existent even though I used the Airbnb app.. The kitchen was also under construction during my stay, which made ordering difficult. Given the price I paid for the room, I expected more.

The best beach imo for non surfers in La Libertad area. Not much place to sun bathe but u can find little cliff like stairs to sit and relax. The sunset in gorgeous!

Pros: The location is great (beachfront and not crowded) the room was clean, the food and service at the restaurant onsite is excellent. Cons: there is no warm water so you’ll be taking ice cold showers, the dogs on the property bark literally all night, and the walls are paper thin so bring ear plugs. I have barely gotten any sleep here.

Definitely recommend for those that want to be by the beach. It has a nice view of the ocean. Breakfast is included and DELICIOSO! Service in general is good as well. We were more than satisfied with our stay.

Based on the prices of surrounding hotels, this hotel is cheap! great value for being right on the beach. We could hear the ocean waves from our room. the room was hardly larger than the King Bed. AC worked like a dream. it was noisy with the kitchen and restaurant but we brought ear plugs. We booked “twin room w shared bathroom”. It was the cheapest offered. The bed was two twins pushed together but they were very wide twin beds. the bathroom was a single toilet and shower with a lock so that only hotel guests (not restaurant guests) could access. the swimming pool is the size of a hot tub (non heated). I would hardly call it a pool. the best part is the hammocks on the second level of the restaurant. thank you to the hotel staff who gave us a ride to our next hotel down the street.

We only ate here at the restaurant while staying nearby. The food was excellent and fresh. Service was friendly and good. We've eaten the brick fire pizza, El Zonte Fish burgers, Ceviche and the Lomo. All were excellent with good portions. I highly recommend this place for food.
