What bothers me about a place that it was supposed to be really great for music is the fact that the sound was not only really loud but also really bad ! The random speakers hanging by chains and what not are just terrible ! The service is good. The drinks are good but the food is way too expensive. If you're looking for a bunch of tourists, mostly Americans who look like they came from a bad TV show go for it. I would recommend other places like the office in cabo. Even though is tourist busy is very nice and more affordable. Sounds better too.

It's a great spot for a drink or lunch or dinner. Live bands, night club atmosphere, they have table service VIP. We didn't come here to eat just to have some drinks and enjoy the music 🎵🎶. It's a large enough venue. Wait time to get it was maybe 10 minutes. Due to COVID-19 capacity limits are in place. Masks are worn by all staff and patrons as you come in. Your temperature is also checked before you enter. When cruise ships are in port this place gets full very quickly. It's definitely a tourist attraction.

Very much enjoyed our visit here. Wasn’t sure what to expect as it’s famous, but it lived up to the reputation. The food was quite good- it’s not authentic but I liked it a lot. The flautas were fantastic. They also have a very very spicy salsa! We got a bucket of Coronas which was a good time. Others in our party got margaritas and daiquiris and bloody Mary’s and they were all good too. Our server was very friendly and helpful and service in general was quick and helpful. A little expensive for Cabo though

This was a fun stop in the middle of our day out in Cabo. The service was great! The staff are really nice and very attentive. The drinks were good but a bit expensive. You are stopping at a rock and roll museum so expect to pay those prices. Like the Hard Rock Cafes but more interesting. You should at least go once to see it, I recommend making this a stop on your tour.

Very attentive staff and super quick service. Drinks are cold! 2 rooms to enjoy, 1 inside with a large stage and 1 patio with a small stage. A must see if only for the hundreds of pictures of famous players who have been here!! Enjoy!

A legendary cantina where you can rub shoulders with celebrities & not even notice them amongst the crowds! The drinks are great & the food is good too. The live music is unbelievable with 2 stages 1 outside and the main stage inside.

I recently visited Cabo Wabo, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The restaurant has a large outdoor patio with stunning views of the ocean. The interior is decorated in a Southwestern style, with plenty of leather and wood accents. The food at Cabo Wabo is good, but the real star of the show is the tequila. The bar has a wide selection of tequilas, including Cabo Wabo's own brand. The margaritas are especially good. The live music at Cabo Wabo is another highlight. The bar has a different band playing every night, and they always put on a great show. I saw a band called The Wabo Brothers on my visit, and they were amazing. They played a mix of classic rock and Mexican music, and they had the crowd dancing all night long. Overall, I had a great time at Cabo Wabo. It's a fun place to go for a night out with friends. The food is good, the tequila is great, and the live music is top-notch. Here are some pros and cons of Cabo Wabo: Pros: Live music Large outdoor patio with stunning views Wide selection of tequilas Good food Fun atmosphere Cons: Can be crowded Prices can be high Service can be slow at times Overall, I would definitely recommend Cabo Wabo to anyone looking for a fun night out in Cabo San Lucas. It's a great place to enjoy good food, tequila, and live music. Here are some tips for visiting Cabo Wabo: Make a reservation, especially if you're going on a weekend night. Arrive early to get a good table on the patio. Try the margaritas. They're some of the best in Cabo. Dance the night away to the live music.

We came here for a light meal for lunch and ordered their coconut shrimp appetizer. It was very, very good. The shrimp were enormous! However, keep in mind this place is expensive. I can see why this place is a must for the younger crowd. It has all the makings of a lot of drinking and bad mistakes! The picture I am showing is the entry way. The inside is way cool!

In 19 years this place had the best food we have ever had in Mexico. Service was great! Food was Amazing! Staff very friendly! A lot of security; Biggest Mexican men Security I have ever seen! You feel very safe there. They even have a Security person in the bathroom when you go in he goes in and hands you a paper towel. So obviously the bathroom stays clean. Spent $300 at the gift store and $200 on meal. Very pleased we went and still cannot get the Amazing Cowboy Tomahawk out of my head. Will definitely go back. It would be a bucket list come true to see Sammy play, Eat the tomahawk and drink!! A must go place if your in Cabo*****

Nice place to visit, eat, drink, and hang out while in Cabo. If you're a fan of Sammy and Van Halen, you'll be in familiar surroundings. The club is a great venue to see live performances and the staff and vibe are pretty cool. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is the chips and salsa offerings. Not good at all. Come on, Sammy! Up your chip game, buddy! Rock on!

My dad and I were celebrating our 40 and 80th birthdays. We like walking from our condo to downtown Cabo and stopping in to Cabo Wabo for a drink and the amazingly tasty coconut shrimp. I've never been there during a music event or at night. I'm sure people have had the best time of their life !

This place is banging good tunes and cold beer’s . Great stage inside. If you are not having fun listening to Van Halen or Sammy here, you already died and you are now in Sammy Heaven. Have a beer and bang.

This is a must visit when you are in town. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is too. Slip in to the store connected to it to grab some tequila favorites or tshirts. If you have a love of the music from the 80's the club section in the back will spark your nostalgia for sure seeing all of the people that come play there including Sammy.

Live awesome rock music. Great sound. Drinks are touristically pricey I think. Few places with live music , this is one of them. In the centre of town. Large area too. Valet as well. Have to make a trip at least once. Hagar visits in the summer months I believe. Front stage dance floor.

fun tourist place. a must go if you happen to be in Cabo. I was hoping to see Sammy Hagar birthday bash as it was my birthday to.. but tickets were sold out in July. And they do a lottery type system. So if you ever want to see a concert at Cabo Wabo you should plan very early as in months before your trip. Other then that very friendly staff, and very clean. excellent food.

The food was fantastic absolutely amazing atmosphere is very awesome sadly our server was not very professional he seemed to be more worried about getting more tables than he could handle didn't refill our drinks and was hard to get his attention if we would have had a better server I would have given five stars and everything sometimes it's just the luck of the draw and that time we got not such a great server but everything else was just absolutely amazing

Such a fun place to be at. Sammy's place is one of the best in town. Don't forget to visit this place. The live band has quite the repertoire, the food is good and the restaurant has a lot of memories.

Very nice place and while food and drinks were a bit pricey, you are able to tour the entire establishment and see the stage and the amazing art work.

Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Eat. Drink, Dance, and carry on the famous traditions. House band playing all the tunes you know! On Lazaro Cardenas and Vincente Guerrero. You never know when Sammy will stop in and play.

My wife and I visited this place years ago and couldn't wait to get back to it. Like before, it did not disappoint. The Sammy's jumbo shrimp was outstanding. My wife had a few cabo wabo margaritas and loved each one of them. The live outdoor band was an even better addition.

This was an amazing experience. Great crowd of people, live music and drink options. Just be careful of the individual hanging outside the doors, as they are all trying to sell "something" to you. LOVED CABO WABO!

To be honest. It's just a bar. And the staff (the security guard or bouncer at the "door") is not very friendly. Did not feel welcome at all.

  • 4/5 Christy F. 1 year ago on Google
This was a bucket list place for me. Upon entering, they immediately bring you a large bottle of water, but beware - it is not free. I was on the edge of heat exhaustion so it was very welcome anyway. During the day they seat everyone outside, but you can go inside and look at the stage and memorabilia. It is smaller than I imagined. Definitely worth a visit.

We got a table in the Cantina on Sammy Hagar's birthday of all days. Our server was Richard and he did a great job. The chips n salsa also came with guacamole. My wife had the chicken fingers and fries. The drinks were cold. There was a 2 person band and they were great. They must have had their A-Team on today because every staff member was hustling and helping each other out. Super polite folks.

Waste of time and money. Thought this was one of those "have to visit" places in Cabo, but the food was dull, the area is sketchy and the view is garbage. Service was excellent, like anywhere in Mexico.

  • 4/5 Candy B. 1 year ago on Google
Quick stop while at port on our cruise. We had chips and salsa, beef flautas and margaritas. The margaritas were good. The food was okay. We probably should have chosen something else. This place fills fast and very touristy. We were a bit disappointed but that was probably due to no band playing while we were there and the prices were a bit pricey for what we received.

  • 5/5 Raymond C. 1 year ago on Google
Sea Bass and Shrimp tacos are exceptional. The strawberry and mango margaritas are excellent also. I have eaten here a few times, and never been disappointed. The service is always extremely good.

  • 5/5 Linda R. 1 year ago on Google
Service was a little slow, but I don't think they were expecting such a large crowd. Still, it was a really fun place with great live music. I only had drinks there, which were good. There are lots of tables on a patio adjacent to the inside bar and stage. It's best to eat there then enjoy the music and drinks inside.

Decent food and drinks. Good service and fun atmosphere. Order off the "snack" menu for smaller bites! The bacon hot dog was very good! The band that was playing was really great!

  • 4/5 Wayne G. 1 year ago on Google
Cool vibe! We had the sautéed shrimp and the coconut shrimp which were fresh and huge! So meaty and juicy. Some of the best we had. Live band added to the vibe. The one downside is that it was pricey.

  • 5/5 Grant M. 3 months ago on Google New
Great atmosphere once your inside, with wonderful staff that always takes care of you. It definitely is pricey which is one of the reasons we only go once while in town. Sometimes if you hit it right , you may have Sammy show up and play with the house band. ( been lucky enough a few times ) Also once in a while outside in the Courtyard the House Band will show up and an Acoustic set, which adds to a great afternoon with a couple nice drinks. But all in all a very nice place to hangout and have a great time.

  • 4/5 Devin M. 4 months ago on Google
With a short walk from the port you will be at Cabob Wabo. We stopped in for a round of beers. Chips and salsa are provided with three different salsas to dip in. The chips were fresh and Salsa delicious. The place looks clean and well run. Service was good.

Sammy Hagar has done more than create a destination and a brand, it's'a franchise and damn if it ain't special. From the extremely courteous, attentive and welcoming staff to the expertly mixed drinks and the delicious food, you can't go wrong with a visit to this cantina, the mecca for redheads. We decided on stuffed mushrooms and chicken nachos for a light lunch and had leftover nachos they were so huge. Best mushrooms I've ever had. We recommend the red rocker and the waborita to wash it down with. The actual birthday bash was packed to the rafters and the staff held it all together flawlessly. Well done, all!! Go there once, you'll be there twice!

A destination for a 60th birthday finally accomplished. Had a finest bean burrito. Doug has followed Sammy for years with music, guitar, and transition to Van Halen. Great place as son Nick can’t wait to hang out in that area for the next trip.

For what could have been just another theme restaurant or tourist trap, it was really a great rock and roll bar. The service and the food were fantastic. Very attentive weight staff. Prices were reasonable. The band was excellent. The bar had great acoustics . At the end of the night, I asked the security staff to get me a taxi and they were very accommodating. First rate experience.
