Nice public beach right along the tourist corridor between San Luca and San Jose. They have showers and bathrooms at the entrance and a nice long boardwalk that leads down to the beach. They will have a guy or two offering you an umbrella that you can negotiate with, I highly recommend one if you don’t have your own as the UV index is high in Cabo. The bay is famous for snorkeling and you can do it there. The water temperature is very refreshing on a hot day and not too rough. The sand was a little rockier than Medano beach but it wasn’t anything crazy. It fills up fast on the weekends in the morning but we went around 5pm and it was better. It seems like there was a lot more locals here than tourists when we went. All in all this is a nice place to hang out on the beach for a few hours.

Chileno is the only wheelchair accessible beach in Cabo San Lucas and it's great!!!! They have a totally smooth, paved walkway literally all the way down to the beach/sand with special cut-outs for wheelchairs. They have a beach wheelchair, there's only one but it was available for us and it was awesome. Chileno's waves, although strong, are much calmer than anywhere else in Cabo. There is no cost for the wheelchair, but you can rent an umbrella for $15 bucks. Bring food and water because there is nothing to purchase on the beach or nearby.

Beautiful beach and very good atmosphere! We fully enjoyed our 3~4 hours stay there. There were a ton of fish swimming around, easily seen from above the water. Many people were feeding the fish, which explains why there were so many of them, and why they were much bigger than other places :) We had to pay 450 pesos to rent two chairs and one umbrella for the whole day, which seemed a bit high. Since there was only one vendor with zero competition, there wasn't really any room to haggle.

About $15US Uber from San Jose del Cabo one-way. Clear water, real bathrooms, umbrella and chair rentals ($14 and $6 each). Swimmable and good snorkel, but really only need regular cheap swim goggles not full snorkel gear because tons of fish just swim right up to everyone very near shore at waist deep; can even see fish just standing up looking into water. Decently busy on a Thursday afternoon in late August, so likely very busy during tourist season, but for good reason.

Really nice beach ! Probably the best one in los cabos ! Nothing compared to balandra in la paz but for los cabos the best beach !

Beautiful, white sand beach with a public bathroom and lifeguard station. There were several boats with snorkelers but it wasn’t too crowded on the beach during Spring Break.

The beach itself is terrific - the sand, the water, the bordering rocks...but there are always mucho mucho gente. Like Coney Island without the hotdogs. And the list of things not allowed is impressive. Of course, you'll die trying to swim at most of the other beaches nearby, so this may be your only option.

Beautiful beach, however no life guards on duty when we went. The waves can get a little strong. Make sure to bring your umbrella and snacks. Just a beautiful place to relax and soak in some sun!!

Very good, lots of parking and restrooms. Can rent an umbrella. Can snorkel here if you bring your own gear!

Chileno bay is the perfect spot your snorkeling adventures. However, be aware of the beach warning flags. When I went in, I did not pay attention to the jellyfish flag and sure enough, I got stung by them and let me tell you it burned really good. Had not been for the jellyfish in the water that day, it would have been perfect.

Amazing snorkelling right from the shore. It was quite busy, but worth the crowds on land to get out and snorkel on our own. Saw moray eels and lots of tropical fish! Lots of beautiful seashells as well!

Prefer this beach to Santa Marie Beach. This beach is great we arrived early and there was barely anybody on the beach. It gets noisy and crowded by noon and lots of people snorkelling of boats. The snorkelling was great if you get there early so many fish. You have to go quite a way from shore though.
