this is a review of the desert course only. very disappointing. once you learn that you can no longer play the "cove course" (formerly known as the ocean course.) the "desert course" offers very little in terms of scenery or beauty and seems like just another country club course. certainly not worth the $200 we paid for play. there are many other courses in this area that offer better value for your dollar

There's a handful of all inclusive and non all inclusive courses in the area that you'll want to checkout before deciding to play here. Definitely didn't live up to the hype and there's a great imbalance in the value / cost of playing here. The hospitality you receive here is definitely what you would expect paying $200+ for a round. However, the Desert Course has very little to offer. I played the first day their new 17th hole opened, and unfortunately it's really nothing special to look forward to. They probably should've given it a couple more weeks to grow-in. It's not a difficult course whatsoever, it has very limited scenery, and they haven't updated yardages within their carts nor physical markings. If you can get a deal from somewhere and pay $125-$150 for the round then I'd suggest playing, however, paying in excess of that is not worth your time or money.

This golf course is an absolute gem! From the included drinks (all top-shelf) to the AMAZING FOOD (included also) and the friendly staff I couldn’t have had a better day on the course. Stunning views from every tee box and very fast greens this place has it all! 10 out of 5 stars for this place!

Came here and played golf. Let me tell you, this course is absolutely stunning and in amazing shape. The views are incredible and the service is top notch. This is a very tough course but overall I had a blast and would highly recommend to anyone.

We came in on a cruise, took an Uber from the port to play golf at the Cabo Del Sol course (formerly desert course). Truly an amazing five star golf experience, from communications beforehand, checking in, amenities, conditions of the tee boxes, fairways and greens. The staff is absolutely top notch, incredibly friendly and welcoming. Would return in a heartbeat. The course had some fun challenging bunker placements, difficult greens, and the surrounding botanical cacti with the accompanying butterflies was quite the treat. Lunch was very good (shrimp tacos and sliders) and cold water and margaritas were plentiful.

Great course with ocean views on just about every hole of the "mountain" course. As a true resort course it is very playable with 2-3 fun drivable par 4s and relatively flat fairways. The course though is very interesting and no 2 holes are the same. Pace of play was good and the food/drink was also very good. If you are scratch or better and want to play a US Open style course, then this course may not be for you, Puerto Del Sol and Campastre are definitely more challenging. Conditions were probably the best of the 4 courses we played in Cabos. The temporary club house managed to put many permanent golf courses to shame with a nice shop, food shack with sitting area and nice bathroom facilities. Service/Staff were excellent

Words can't describe how beautiful this place is. Not crowded at all. Basically had two infinity pools to ourselves. Will 100% be coming back again. $7 Uber ride gets you to all the fun stuff. Good eats within walking distance.
