Do not fall for the Shopping Rewards tax rebate/refund. We were supposed to get back $125 and just learned 13 months later our claim was rejected because they could not contact us by email. The one and only email was to tell us we would not get a refund. Total ripoff and promise from Diamonds International. I will not return on our next visit.

4.25.2019 update- This establishment is really hard to get in contact with when you have a problem with their merchandise. My mother necklace didn't fit correctly and they promised that it was a great deal but her diamond tennis necklace was appraised for $3,000. Dollars US less than her purchase price. Her saving grace is that she used her personal credit card and not diamond international. As a worldwide company, you wouldn't expect them to be so elusive. Phone reps. kept her on the que a never returned her phone calls and no one had a straight answer about where their main office was in the USA to send the necklace back. It's a shame because we have a credit account with them and I don't trust their appraisal of their jewelry anymore. We purchased a few items from this location. The owner provided some nice perks with our business. They welcomed our children and offered refreshments. The only negative that I have is that they tried to get my cousin to purchase a piece of jewelry that was out of her price range by saying she could put the purchase on my credit card and pay me back personally (which I find unacceptable). They paid for our taxi back to the pier, but kept saying that the cruise ship would not leave us, even though we were still in their store 10 min before the last tender was scheduled to depart. The paperwork was nerve racking.

Very kind staff. Unfortunately the tax refund is a hoax. I purchased a diamond engagement ring in April and by the end of July, still have no refund as promised. Their diamonds are over priced compared to what you would pay here in the states. The tax refund was a big selling point for us. Unfortunately, it’s not real.

My Tanzanite ring broke after only 20 days so I sent an email to the address on the warranty and got a reply from gmail that the email address did not exist. I will email Diamonds International and see what they will do about it as I live in New Zealand. Watch this space

Very pricey. But reasonable if you come prepared to buy. Personnel were fabulous. I am going back soon.

Rip off , they will hoodwink you , made an appointment at Benito Rose , was told they were reputable. Was sold jewelry that was extremely overpriced. Stay away , would not recommend to anybody

I wasn’t expecting the sincere personalized approach I received. I planned on shopping around but I found everything I needed and more here. As a result I’ll never buy jewelry anywhere else again!

Staff was overwhelmingly helpful. My wife knew what she wanted and the price was terrific without much negotiating. After purchase we were doing paperwork to find out that the Mexican govt was going to give us back almost 9%. I don’t usually trust tourist shops but this was better than being back in the states. I highly recommend Diamonds Internetional. Will always buy from them.

My family visited this stop after arriving with a VIP pass from Carnival Splendor. There was a welcome event for cruise passengers so there were free drinks and snacks. My mom bought a beautiful blue diamond necklace here from Crown of Light. She loves it a lot! We had a budget in mind and the staff was kind enough to negotiate with his manager and get us a discount. Tourists can get a 8.9% tax refund back from the Mexican government. Overall, we had a pleasant experience!
