Love this place. Service is really good. Atmosphere is good and very family oriented. Everyone is nice and always activities going on and the food is always good. Drinks never stop weather your in your room or on the beach. Room service available 24 hours a day so you never go hungry. Will definitely be back! Been here 3 times already!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo suite and loved it. We figured out after the first day that the all inclusive was not included for condo guests. Our room was amazing, the location was great, the optional buy in for the all inclusive day pass was too expensive and not worth it! We ate and drank from the snack bar beside the pool and it was decent. We also used the kitchen in our suite a bit. This worked fine for our 3 night stay but would not have been great if we stayed for a week. There are many restaurants a short drive away. The beach and swimming do not compare to the Caribbean but it was still fun. There are really large iguanas around the pool. They swim across sometimes. We decided to pet one that was about 5-6 feet long and it was very friendly. Nothing to fear as far as we could tell. We would come back to Dreams Villa Magna.

Very disappointing, within a 7 day vacation trip we have had on going problems with our room, when we arrived you could see water and dirty spots all around the floor, the jacuzzi wasn’t even clean, the following days our safe broke down, two nights in a roll we couldn’t sleep because the air conditioning was leaking and making noises, they had to come fix at 1:30 am the morning, the following night the same thing happened and they ended up moving our rooms at 1:40am - one of the days the room above us was going through construction and they didn’t even bother to let us know before hand, at 7:30am beds were being dragged around in the room above, just tons of on going problems, phone room wasn’t working either. The restaurant food does not represent the Mexican cuisine but you can expect that from an all inclusive resort. The staff was super friendly but that doesn’t make up for all the problems, and they did absolutely nothing to make it better but offer a massage which at the end they end up charging us a fee of $250, they give but they take at the same time, don’t fool yourself, if you are coming from Canada, think again. This might not be the place for you if you trying to enjoy your vacation with a relaxing time. If I could give 0 starts I would.

So disappointing to say the least. We booked this hotel trusting that it's owned by Hyatt properties and left the whole family doubting the entire brand We booked an all inclusive for 3 families. 3 separate rooms and 2 of the rooms were in the back of the hotel behind the kitchen with access through some nasty kitchen fumed greasy back alley. Outdated is an understatement. Our room was dirty, smelled funny, AC wasn't working, fans were installed backwards (zero air) and make sure no one flushes the toilet while you're in the shower or you'll get burned. The food was horrendous. Only thing edible was the boiled then grilled bbq ribs and French fries. Sushi was hot, Mexican food was worse than taco bell, Italian restaurant was trying to be something its not (who wears long pants in this humidity?), coffee was watered down and the buffet had flies crawling over all of the food. I had a great experience at some of the All Inclusive hotels in both NV and PV. With the amount of choices you have this is one to not consider even if it were free. We ended up paying for all inclusive and spending more time outside the resort because my room smelled of kitchen grease, the food was disgusting and had flies sitting on them and they rarely had pool chairs available unless you came out and "marked your spot" at 7 am. Some of the staff were friendly but none that we interacted with daily and we made sure to leave a heavy tip to those staff members when we left. Note to management: fire your "head" chef and get one of those street cart vendors. They make great food and the hygiene standards seem to be similar. ((Response from management was as expected)) Does not take any accountability for the absolute joke that is this resort. If food standards means that food is laying out on tables and flies are left to sit, lay eggs, and do whatever else flies do on pastries, fruit, plates that guests are expected to eat off of.

If I were the Wyndham, i would almost be embarrassed to have my name on this hotel. The rooms are in need of some SERIOUS work. We had water leaking from our shower, a holder fell off and was just left with a hole in the shower wall, mold growing on the vents, curtains, walls, broken chairs, a safe that never worked . . . Just all around gross however the staff was good. Jaime at the bar, Jesus at the sushi restaurant, Martin in the Italian spot were all great! For an all inclusive I never EVER even got a buzz; drinks were so watered down and you never even tasted a bit of liquor in the drinks. Just dont even consider this spot because it is not worth it other than the staff. We spent ALMOST all of our time away from the hotel due to the deplorable conditions.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at Wyndham Alltra Resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit. We had the most amazing time. The drinks were great, the food was great and the service was top tier. From poolside service to making great memories with the bartenders, we had the most memorable time and would highly recommend this place. There was nightly entertainment every night and our room was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the junior suite - king bed. Huge shoutout to Wyndham Alltra for giving us the best week! We will forever remember it. Shoutout to the bartenders who gave us one hell of an awesome time! You know who you are :)

After the second day of 7 I felt I need to let others know about this place. For starters there are renovations underway, two restaurants are closed, so you have limited options. This is not shared on the website or reflected in the price. Second, do not opt for the club level, it is a rip off! The only benefit is the premium liquor in the club level club, not available in any other location, same liquor is available if you pay $70 per day per person for premier level which they disclose when you try to order a drink thinking you are ordering club level. It’s is borderline fraud in my opinion. No AC in the Buffett or in the Mexican restaurant, very uncomfortable. Flies on the food in the buffet, which is never a good sign. The room fridge is stocked with cans of beer, if you want a can from one of the bars you need to pay extra, makes no sense! The best thing about this place is the service and the staff. Great people, they make you feel very welcome (the staff is the only reason I did not rate one star).

Stay away, ripoff We stayed at Dreams Villa Magna, Puerto Vallarta, during the first week of July 2022. We love Mexico and visit several times a year, typically with no disappointment. This time was completely different. Even though we paid more than other all-inclusive resorts, we did not enjoy our stay. The room was outdated and there was mold in the bathroom. Hair conditioner was not provided, only shampoo. The linens and towels were worn out and looked more grey than white. The restaurants were limited, with very scant choices of food. None of the restaurants offered charcuterie, the choices of cheese and bread were limited to the cheapest possible. The fruits and vegetables were restricted to the most common. Flies were everywhere on the food and tables. Air conditioning throughout the resort was remarkably inefficient. We stayed sweaty while dining and sleeping. Liquor consisted of the cheapest varieties. Outside of the limited choices, even the inexpensive Mezcal was at extra charge. The hotel has no night Entertainment Hall. Entertainment activities proceeded out in the open, on the Guest pick-up/drop-off area in front of the elevators and the reception area.. The resort does not have service elevators. Most of the time Guests and maintenance personnel use the same (and only) two elevators. It is no pleasure to ride with dirty laundry next to you. We wasted our vacation time and money in this resort. We will never come back and want to warn others who might feel compelled to try Dreams Villa Magna in Puerto Vallarta.

We stayed for 5 days and had a fantastic experience! We had 3 rooms for 6 adults. From our arrival, being greeted with a champagne toast; to our departure, the hotel staff was attentive and provided excellent service. It’s an older hotel, but was clean and well-maintained. There were enough food options to keep things interesting and we could not have asked for more. Would definitely go back!

The staff is amazing and provided great service. The food was plentiful with lots of options. This was a quiet hotel compared to its music baring loud neighbour's (very annoying loud music). There were plenty of activities for the kids and adults. This side of the beach towards the marina had soft sand and clean beaches. I just wish there was a no smoking policy on the beaches.

The only 5 star here goes to the the stuff, very friendly and professional. Everything else is at level of motel 8 or so: in our hotel room the AC was like an helicopter landing noise. We ask for another room and we have to pay the upgrade 45$day at the 8th floor because they didn’t have another room or offered the free upgrade. Internet was not working or on and off all the time. The Italian restaurant isn’t qualify in my opinion to be called that way. The wine quality was so poor so we’ve to buy our own wine to drink The room clearly need new faucet and basically new shower head because there’s calcium deposits so no rain shower. All the silicone caulking around the shower look very poorly done in line with many things around this hotel. I definitely would not recommend this hotel unless you want to waste your time and money 😏

The hotel has definitely seemed to go down since changing to a Wyndham. We have a condo on property and liked to get the day passes to enjoy what the hotel has to offer but were generally disappointed this time. The restaurants had very limited menus with not much to blow you away. Some of the portions were extremely tiny so be careful what you order. The nightly activities lacked a great level of enthusiasm and seemed very low energy. It just seemed like they don't know what they want to be and are this very disorganized idea of making it work.

The view is great that’s about it. The website is extremely misleading and we constantly have to find out things by trial error because the staff or the website doesn’t mention something. We stayed at a 5 star a few months back and this pales in comparison. The rooms are outdated, the lighting is dark, and the furniture has seen better days. The mini bar wasn’t stocked and it’s been a hassle to correct that issue. The place is hot and the AC could be better. The “bars” are underwhelming and you probably have better and more liquor in your kitchen cabinet. The 7th floor lounge is just a small hole in the wall between rooms where they have a self service “bar”. They even had guacamole (which was good) but they had one chip for a whole cup of guacamole. The menus at the restaurants are very limited. At the pool you get one towel and only if you have a towel card (dumbest thing ever). The food is nothing to write home about . Also the restaurants have a schedule , so some are open and closed on certain days. However, they don’t actually stick to their schedule, and it’s completely different from what’s on the website. Do not get fooled into buying their all inclusive add on that’s is supposed to come with black label liquor and 24/7 room service. The liquor is actually that 7th floor lounge bar I spoke of before. And the room service food is ok, and you can’t order alcohol from room service. The pool closes at 8pm and nothing has been what it was marketed to be. The sushi restaurant was okay but the sushi rolls were warm. The Mexican Buffett was the best thing here and even that was repetitive. The cold and hot water in the room is backwards. All in all the staff is friendly for the most part but if coming to Mexico again this would be at the bottom of the list. Wyndham should be ashamed of this.

Horrible service. Dirty/Filth everywhere Misleading website, they will tell you one thing over the phone but it all depends on the clerk is feeling. Which almost all of them are on a power trip, not worth your time. Find a different hotel that values their customers.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!! This hotel is NOT renovated. It’s the worst experience I have ever had and we were staying there along with 50 guests for our wedding!!! Thank god the wedding was not in this resort!!! This place is a nightmare. They charge for every single little thing. So NOT all inclusive. It’s old, moldy, and nothing works. Took my moms to the spa as a wedding gift and wanted to vomit. Steam room didn’t work. Mold all over the walls, sauna had no working lights, no water in the hot tubs, the pool jets were not working. Had to pitch a fit to have maintenance come out and start fixing everything. Massage was way overpriced and not worth it. The beach one is 10x better and only $40 an hour. Hotel one is $160-200. NO WATER BOTTLES ANYWHERE!!!! They do not offer water bottles at this resort in the restaurants, lobby bar, or anywhere outside. I ordered water bottles for room service and they brought me a coffee jug of water!!! Service was horrible! They have 4 restaurants which you can only attend by reservation as if they were a Gibsons Steakhouse , buffet never had any food, lobby bar is the only source of entertainment with 8 chairs and closed around 11pm. Not even a swim up bar. Half our wedding guests came back sick. THIS IS CATFISHING PEOPLE!!!!! All photos on website and Expedia are FAKE AND PHOTOSHOPPED!!!!! SCAM!!!! This isn’t a real resort. Half this place is residential condos. NEVER EVER AGAIN!! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR PHOTOSHOP!!

They have designated smoking areas but they don't enforce them so people smoke wherever they want. The tennis court is in bad shape and the back fence looks like it will fall down. I'm not sure someone threw up over the rail but I the noticed the puke stain a week ago so there's that. All in all I can see why they are offering 40% off. The hotel next door is packed and although I don't like a busy hotel I can see why they are so much busier.

The only good thing about this place is the views. That’s it! Food is very mediocre compared to other all inclusive and very limited options are available. It’s been 24 hours since we got here and I’m extremely disappointed. Even my fellow Canadian travellers have the same opinion . At the dinner tonight, no one took our drink order until we started having desert. Pathetic service, food etc. the other reviews are 100% true. Please book elsewhere! This place is definitely not worth your money

Stayed at Dreams July 14-19th. We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean. Was a little disappointed that my client who needed a handicap accessible double bed room was not able to get it. The handicap rooms were King only. The food was ok. We did try the Steakhouse Restaurant. It was terrible. The steak did not taste like steak at all. We did not try the other restaurants. The buffet was actually not bad. They had breakfast quesadillas out on the terrace each morning, they were delicious. We upgraded to the preferred club. I don't know that it is really worth the extra money. The food they have set out each day is also shared with the birds that swarm the floor each day. The views were amazing. The beach was beautiful. There was no issue getting beach chairs or towels. We saw staff cleaning each day. Getting taxi to visit off the grounds is very easy and the Bell staff is there and readily available to help you. Overall it was a great vacation but you can see where some cosmetic upgrades need to be done.

My significant other and I booked to stay Villamagna for the weekend of September 24 of this year. We wanted to experience Puerto Vallarta area for the weekend and saw this Resort to be affordable and it seemed to have decent reviews. We have always stayed in 4.5 stars and above but wanted to do venturing on a budget. NEVER AGAIN! Upon arrival this place looked OKAY. The check in process was smooth and staff was attentive and friendly, I will not complain about their service. We got checked in early in the morning and were directed to the Buffet for breakfast. In my life have I seen such a dirty Buffet Area. The fruit did not look fresh at all..it looked to be sitting there for hours. The meal options were not many but cherry on top there was a cleaning lady who jumped on top of the counter with those rubber boots to clean the glass separating the food from the consumer....WOW I was shocked. She was spraying and wiping down the area right below her was the food..yuck. Also, there had been some sort of liquid spilled by the food area and no one cleaned it up people were walking over it making it a bigger mess. I did not eat my food. Waiting for our room to be ready we decided to go hang out at the pool area. I though maybe Im just picking on this place and the pool area will convince me to change my mind. NOPE! I used the restroom that's next to the outdoor restaurant by the pool and the toilets were overflowing... I had to use the restroom stepping on that dirty water. We got lucky and were allowed to cancel our reservation and ended up leaving this RESORT. We ended up in DREAMS Bahia Mita....huge difference. We paid a couple hundreds more but if you like cleanliness and good food this place is not it!

It appears this hotel has recently changed hands from Dreams to Wyndham. Why are there no recent reviews, and could you direct me to them. Also, we are thinking of booking here, but the advertising is very confusing. It shows all inclusive, but also says free breakfast. Saying free breakfast makes it sound like nothing else is free. Can you confirm the restaurants are free? I already know the people in the condos have to pay for a meal plan, as i have been to this resort twice in the past.

We got married here and Valeria their wedding planner was amazing and gave us the wedding of our dreams! Arturo the bartender kept our group happy and made our trip really fun! The food was great too! Thank you for having us!

We have stayed at Dreams Resorts before and they were outstanding. The service here has been mediocre. Have to struggle to get towels and basic toiletries, mini bars not stocked properly, spa appointments booked days in advance are changed last minute and three days in a row I’ve asked to speak with the manager and three days in a row she has been “too busy” and avoided hearing my concerns. The upgraded preferred club here is less than basic service you get at other resorts. Puerto Vallarta is great and this resort is beautiful but spend your money at one of the other resorts where the service and management are better than mediocre.

This place will wow you with great service. Totally worth the visit whether it is a weekend getaway or like me a two week stay. The beach area is top notch and offers the best views of a spectacular sunset. Rooms are nice but they are a little dated thus a 4 🌟, location could be 5 🌟 if all you wanted was the resort. If you are wanting to be close to the malacon or Zona Romantica it is about 25 to 30 min drive. The staff is where this place shines!

We arrived on July 21st. It took about 1.5 hours to get through the check- in line. When we finally did, we were told our room would not be ready for another 45 minutes. When we finally got into our room, we changed our clothes and headed to the beach and pool. We got in the pool with our drink (not seeing any posted signs not to) in hand and a hotel security guard came and proceeded to yell at us! He told us that he was tired of telling us not to have our drinks in the pool and that we should understand because we weren't children in diapers. I tried multiple times to talk to him and tell him we had just arrived and didn't know we weren't supposed to have them there and we had just gotten to the resort/pool. He wouldn't allow me talk to him. Instead he walked away. I reported it to the bartending staff. Then, our room refrigerator never worked. We asked multiple times for it to be checked, no one ever came. We were there for a reunion and paid money to have a beachside dinner. When we arrived it was not ready. Instead they set us up at Oceana(where the meals were included with our stay). They said they'd work something out to get us some of our money back, but that never happened. The concierge was crass and mean. She was upset because booked an excursion with someone other than her. It was a mess. The food was disgusting to put it lightly. We also had an issue at the sushi bar. I'll never stay here again and neither will the 50 other people who stayed with us.
