Luckily, tucked away in the north of Alicante, I found a private (+insurance, or without) local to me (I'm in (x-Javea!) Hospital which could help me. Instead of going miles to Benidorm.(lots of private hospitals, Or worse La Villajoyosa Valencia or Alicante!, see below) Receptionist (check in!) + staff fantastic, ., well the doctor (in English) was really quick + scan / x-ray to help my sprained knee. At 65 and a slip while walking, I was in serious pain. Great diagnostics and quick n easy reception. Recommend going even more so now that La Villa/Alicante & San Juan are overflowing into the corridors! I don't want Covid nor influenza A, they're stacked even stopping surgery!Yikes! Thank you. Edit: For those that post remarks about parking fees(ever been to the state hospital?l!)... Not only will you pay, but it'll take 40 minutes to find one free, or tip the junky in their car park<do tip, it's your car!>. I prefer to pay to park in the hospital, how am i going to walk 15 minutes ?!. (Don't go to a hospital if you complain about parking, really sad, hop/crawl on a bus, pay a taxi....?)

Amazing hospital. The urgent care department was clean, calm and friendly. From registering an injury, triage, seeing a Dr, xray, seeing the Dr, treatment and arranging a follow up appointment, it took less than an hour. Spanish, German and English were spoken so communication was not a problem. Plenty of parking spaces.

My rectal cancer stage two was removed from me in this clinic on Tuesday, and now on the fifth day I am back home feeling good. (I am still waiting for the analysis of my tumor to know if further treatment is necessary). I had all tests and preparation here in this clinic. It was an amazing experience! The clinic is new and as well equipped as a spaceship. Also stylish!! The personal is young, cheerful, caring, loving and above all superskillfull. No procedure, and I had many, including three hour complicated surgery caused any pain. I still can feel caring hands of the nurses (females and males!) on me, their smiles, their holding hands, etc. I stayed in intensive care unit 28 hours after surgery, and then in a private room with my husband (there is a sofa bed, private bathroom), magnificent hills you can see straight from your bed, which is comfortable and you can move it whatever! All so well organized! Yes, cafeteria is also amazing and with caring staff! Meals during my stay were so well presented, that you fancy every single one! Just let the staff take care of you (do not necessarily think you know better!!!), ask help when needed, believe you will be well cared and quickly cured, follow all recommendations dutifully and enjoy (yes, enjoy!!!) your journey. I had a serious surgery this week, and now I am gently swimming in el portet beach! Congratulations to Denia Hospital clinic! Well done! Best hospital ever!!!

I visited this lovely hospital today with a problematic eye! My visit from beginning to end was absolutely fantastic. Firstly the hospital is beautiful inside out! Looks very new with plenty of parking space. Once we stepped in we were welcomed by very friendly and professional staff who could speak with us in English, Spanish and Swedish! In the beginning we had a little problem with our private health insurance, we didn’t have a card number on us, but that appeared not to be a problem at all as super helpful Juan Carlos and Vanina helped my husband to sort this out by making few phone calls and downloading an app on my hubbies phone while I was taken care of by a very lovely nurse (can’t remember her name) who was very gentle and a young, professional, reassuring and informative lady doctor who har put my mind at rest. Luckily my eye didn’t need much attention but I know that if I had any problem in the future I will come back here without any hesitation knowing that I will be looked after here and provided with a great health care!

I have been corresponding to arrange an appointment with the doctor. The lady that I corresponded with, her name is Zaira passeri. What a quality professional lady she is. A real solution oriented professional. I was very impressed with her. She is a top quality lady that will build a good reputation for the HCB Denia. Also I was quite impressed with the HCB Denia hospital in general and with the dermatologist and the ENT doctors. In summary a quality hospital.

I was with my boy of 10 years old in the emergency room and we had only one person in front of us! Nobody inside and no other access to tell us that can be other patients. We waited for 2 hours and nobody was entering! Nobody attended us!!! We are still here when I am writing this review! Hope to enter finally! But this is not normal emergency service in a private hospital during the day, normal workday, no fiesta, no weekend, not an inappropriate hour!!! Very sad and disappointed!

I would like to express my my sincere gratitude to a member of the HCB Call Center: Ana Lucia W.T. Ana has organized all the necessary organizational steps inside HCB Denia as well the necessary authorization with my Medical Insurance: 1. Very speedy 2. Very thoroughly. When I had an admin question after my visit to HCB Denia, Ana demonstrated again the two above mentioned qualities. I compliment the directors of HCB Denia of their excellent choice in having hired Ana and thank Ana. You are a star performer!

(Translated by Google) A hospital of superlatives. Everything is correct there. I was admitted as an emergency. When I registered, I was assigned a lady who spoke my language. This super nice lady accompanied me throughout my entire treatment and arranged everything necessary. I've been to many hospitals but never to such a great one. I can only recommend 👍 (Original) Ein Krankenhaus der Superlative.

They don't take care of your health. Some doctors lack competence and are treating very rudely. They don't like to listen, interrupting you and even refusing or misrading the blood tests and ECGs. No patience towards patients. Some of them are stealing time from your appointment (coming 15 mins late) and then making you hurry and leave (in 5 mins) and get nervous for your questions. I actually ended up in emergency because they didn't care of me when I went on time. 1 month they did not give adequate care or treatment.

I came to this hospital from Ireland for my surgery last week and it is one of the cleanest hospitals I've ever seen and stayed in for 2 nights. The care the staff provide is to a very high standard I highly recommend this hospital for all needs. I had a partial menisectomy recently there and the nurses and surgeon's and all hospital staff are just amazing. The care and service they provide is very quick and efficient and you get all your blood tests and x-rays back in the same day. The food is Also lovely I am vegetarian and had the nicest food while I was there for almost 3 day's. My bedroom was like a 5 star hotel room with the nicest views of the beautiful nearby mountains. The physiotherapist team are just Unreal with the care they provide you with post surgery I highly recommend their physiotherapy session's I had 7 and would definitely go back for more only that I had to return to Ireland last week.

I can't praise HCB Denia enough for the personal service my husband and I consistently receive at this hospital. I wrote to the call centre this morning for a specific appointment and received an immediate response with an offer of an appointment for tomorrow morning. Can't fault the service or the medical staff. All my experiences here have been positive with kind and helpful staff. If you have to be ill it certainly helps to be in a hospital like this.

Everyone speaks English and Spanish, my Doctor even spoke German - could not be better. Super nice staff, quick processing, beautiful building and basically no waiting time. (Hopefully) not seeing it again, but if something happens, I know where to go.

It's never good to have to go to hospital while on holiday but it my case it was made all the easier by the super friendly reception and medical team at this new private hospital. The reassurance they gave me was really welcome and the care they gave was excellent. Thankfully, my stay was brief but had I stayed longer I am in no doubt the medical care would have continued to be at a very high level.

A big thank you to everyone that I have been in contact with at HCB Denia. From Ana Lucia Tooms who helped make my appointments at the hospital and all the advice that she gave when I needed to have my tests, to my Doctor Gloria Llisa Ribera and all the staff in emergency that I have seen quite regularly for my B12 jabs !! And not forgetting the lovely ladies at reception!

From seeing the excellent Dr Alberola to my colonoscopy was just 7 days. I had my procedure in 5th june at 4.45pm, exactly as scheduled. I was lucky to get a cancellation. There was a mix up between the hospital and my insurers over authorization but Ana Marie Tome and her team quickly sorted this for me. The translation of the Spanish to English instructions to prepare for a colonoscopy are not accurate, but they are now aware of this. Do put the Spanish version through translate to be accurate. We realised this after reading the Spanish version and noticing the errors in the translation. Most importantly, the laxative must be put in fresh drawn water, not hot water, to be drunk. The procedure itself went very well. From the check in, through to the kind and caring pre and post opp nursing staff, especially Ida, and the incredibly professional anaesthetist who both explained everything in perfect English. After the procedure, I received in the moment my results. The hospital is spotlessly clean and state of the art. it is everything white so any dirt would be obvious. I hope my thanks will be passed on to nurse Ida, the anaesthetist ( apologies I forgot her name ) , Ana Tome and the administration team, Dr Alberola and his team. I can highly recommend this hospital.

Just home from my stay in your amazing hospital. I had a hip replacement and the care was second to none. From Doctors, nurse's and physio team. The whole experience was great. No hanging around waiting to be seen and if you pressed the call bell, a nurse was in straight away. I can't praise this hospital and of course the whole team that work there enough!

I arrived with my husband on Saturday, March 25th at around 4:30pm and were welcomed (to our surprise) in English by a lovely lady receptionist who was very helpful. We were then ushered into the Triage area where we had no issues with language at all. They took a COVID and influenza test. Shortly thereafter the doctor arrived and he was wonderful. Within seconds he had an exact diagnosis of what my problem was. He ordered two inhalers and an X-ray of my lungs which was done right away. The inhalers worked wonders. I could speak without coughing and even laugh again. I told Dr. Clemente it was a miracle after over a week of coughing. Shortly thereafter I got a call on my cell from a Medipac Doctor in Toronto, Ontario. He asked to speak to the doctor in charge who was very gracious and answered all his questions and administered his diagnosis. I cannot praise your staff enough and especially Dr. Clemente who was in charge of my case. I would like to thank everyone I came in contact with as being extremely professional and courteous allowing me to walk out and be able to enjoy the day without further coughing. Thank you to one and all, especially Dr. Clement for his quick diagnosis. Sincerely, Marie, Carol Anne Cullen.

It was a perfect welcome thanks to Maïté Van Den Bossche at the reception desk. Maïté took care of me in such a professional way, that was amazing! I had the feeling to be in good hands, she was so helpful and kind to me. Her translation skills are impressive too, she speaks perfectly french. Everything the doctor explained to me was perfectly clear thanks to Maïté's translation. I highly recommend Maïté for new patients who are not used to the Hospital. HCB Hospital Denia did the right thing in including Maïté in its staff.

I fell of my bike and four days later I came to the ER because of severe pain in my arm. I was immediately taken care of and all the staff was friendly. After a X- ray I was told it was broken and I got cast. The whole visit was about 1.15 hour so very quick. I had to return in three days for check- up and this visit also was smoothly

What a terrible experience ! The emergency was really nice . Nice people , calm and quick . But then … my husband needs to stay in the hospital for a colonoscopy . We came in Friday afternoon and they told us that the examination would be on Monday morning early . And he needed to stay there . In the Netherlands you never stay in the hospital for such an investigation. You do the preparation at home , then you have the examination and then you can go home immediately after you are finished . But here …. First he has to stay for the weekend and would get his examination on Monday morning early . We asked if it was possible to go home and return Monday but they told us that , when we do that , his would lose his space on the list for the examination Monday. On Saturday nobody could tell us anything . The nurses are really nice but they have a different story every time they come in. On Sunday a nurse told us that my husband would have his examination in Benidorm ! Why ? We didn’! Know and the nurse also not . Because the doctors in this hospital take their weekend really seriously,Nobody was at the clinic … . Then , at the end of the day the nurse told us that my husband would be helped at 12.00 Monday . So they started with the preparation and he didn’t have anything to eat that whole day . By the way , the restaurant was closed during the weekend and there was no place to go outside for some fresh air . On Monday morning , the doctor showed up , hooray! She told my husband that his examination is today but not at 12.00 but at 16.00 ! And that it would be better to stay in hospital this night too, because the docter could not tell the outcome of the examination directly and it was not possible to make an appointment with the doctor for the outcome. My lord , I have the feeling we are getting framed !! Another night is more money . My husband has been in the hospital for 4 days and for what ?? We don’t understand and I am really angry about it . All the confusion, all the changes in time . I really think this is money based . I wonder if they would have done it this way when he came in in summer when the Clínica is full of people … The hospital looks good , the rooms too but they have a lot , and I mean really a lot of work to do about their communication and about giving information about what is going to happen . It seems to me they really don’t understand that you are in stress and that you like to know what is going to come and about when it is going to happen . I really hope that we never have to return here !!!

Went in for an MRI and the service was excellent. I would like to mention Victoria, on reception and amparo in the x-ray department. Both were extremely helpful, cheerful and professional. Thank you both.

Very bad organized parking system in this hospital! It makes me feel very disuppointed and I want to change the hospital only because of their parking system. No tarifas at the door! Before it was for free, so I needed 10 min only to understand what is wrong! Finally I needed to pay 1.35 eur for a 30 min, and it doesn't accept my money because it doesn't give a change!!! It simply returned all my coins back because it doesn't give a change! My small daughter was sick, I'm nervous because of that, and I have a big problem to pay in the mashine. I have very negative emotions only because of 1.35 euros and really think that the manager of the hospital need to earn money on other things or create this parking in a more client-friendly way.

I had a knee replacement at Hcb the surgeon and theatre staff were good but the hospital stay was terrible my surgery was on a Thursday i should have been discharged on Saturday but no staff were available it was a skeleton weekend shift the nursing care at the weekends is below a satisfactory standard i was forced to pay for these extra two days until Monday which was not acceptable -I paid for my operation in advance and the physio did not turn up on a Saturday to help me out of bed so I was left in dirty sheets for four days I would strongly recommend that if you go in for surgery and are paying it is imperative to ask the questions about the after care also the price I was quoted did not include any follow up appointments which left me feeling vulnerable even removal of stitches beware of Hcb hospitals make sure you know what you are getting before you pay also the replacement unit deal with Irish patients as they are in the eu and get it for free they had a better quality of care than me whilst on the ward I will never have treatment here again
