The Best Place in the Chalakudy Town area for a public swimming area. Its very rocky and skiddy and if you not a good swimmer, dont enter deep waters. The flow is way too much to swim sometimes and many casualties have happened to people who tried to swim near the spillway. But definitely a good spot to come down and chill with your friends or kids and walk around the check dam when water level drops.

The river very dangerous.many people lost their life there But we can't feel that , that's the danger of that place. If water is less we can cross the river using a path way across. Other wise it's risky . Famous koodal manikyam temples festival end programs situated there between one year .
