Great experience. Beautiful castle with interior gardens full of pretty corners. Typical Dinner for two with delicious taste and amazing price.

Excellent pasta with lots of seafood $7. Fish soup $5 was OK. View of old castle wall & beautifully maintained garden!

Dissatisfied.. The place is very good-looking, but what made me mad is how much time the waiter made us wait.. Like we were standing there for 40 minutes, and nobody really showed up.. We just left then..

VERY BAD! The waiter didn’t even come, we asked him to come twice times. We waited 1 hour and he didn’t came! He said he was busy and we should wait longer. WE LEFT FROM THERE DISSAPOINTDD!

The place is beautiful! But unfortunately the service at the restaurant is terrible. We waited for so long for something to order and then waited so long to get our order. After waiting for a while we found out that they forgot our order. To bad for this nice place.

I ate at the restaurant and it was the most horrible experience in my life. The staff is rude. We ordered our food and had to wait and hour and 20 minutes and didn't get it! Several times we asked the waiter about it and at the end it turned out he canceled our order because he thought that it would take more time and from his point of view we were not willing to wait any longer. When we expressed our dissatisfaction he told us that we should open our own restaurant in which we would be able to tell the waiters what to do. Don't visit this restaurant!!!

5 stars not for the hotel (we didn't stay), but loved the restaurant and grounds. Classy place in the castle with parking and some archaeology.

The very best place to go in Elbasan. They should do better coffee but because of the beautiful sightseeing and the very nice music I love going there.

Caution regarding the prices and receipts, as the waitstaff might attempt to deceive you!!!I visited this bar with a group of foreign friends and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The first issue we encountered was the lack of a menu for drinks, which made ordering quite challenging. Furthermore, the staff mistakenly didn't bring all the drinks we ordered. The real disappointment came during the payment process when the server initially quoted one price, then went to print the receipt, only to return and inform us that they couldn't print it but had taken a screenshot instead. This was quite perplexing and seemed unprofessional. When we questioned the price, the server brought back a receipt with an even higher amount, which was incredibly frustrating. It felt like an attempt to deceive customers, and it left a sour taste in our mouths. I couldn't help but wonder if this wasn't the first time the young waitress had used such tactics. It's disappointing to think that such behavior might be more common than we'd like to believe. Overall, this experience was a letdown, and I have no intention of returning to this bar in the future.

We enjoy a lovely breakfast surrounded with the old castle with nice views and good music I literally fell in love with this place and the prices are really good

The Tave kosi had nothing but bones in it, no meat, the qofte were bland and we were the only customers in the restaurant.

I stayed there 4 nights for work in February and overall enjoyed my stay but they could improve a few things, particularly the sound and temperature insulation in the rooms. The single pane windows and the room door don't seal well, so you hear the noise from people in the hallways, in the terraces or even traffic. Moreover, as it was winter the room was very cold and once turning on the heating (some kind of air conditioning machine but with hot air) then it got dry and stuffy. You can also smell the cigarettes from other guests in the hotel (or previous guests in the room). That being said, the hotel is located in a really beautiful spot, right inside the old fortress of Elbasan, and it was really quite cool to be able to stay in such a spot. As it was my first trip to Albania, that really was a first great impression. And having breakfast overlooking the old walls was just a great way to start the day. So the location definitely gets 5 stars, even though the rooms get 2 or 3 at best, they need an upgrade.

Beautiful location, within the walls of the castle. Definitely wow factor as you come through the front gate. Lovely hotel, helpful staff. Great shame about rather poor quality of breakfast. There was very little choice. But…despite this, we have enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable room in an amazing castle garden. Bathroom little bit outdated, but not disturbing. Recommend having a drink or something to eat here as well!

Such an unfortunate and mediocre service experience from the waiter. If your not part of a large group you may well be completely ignored. The grounds are lovely and the kind person at the front desk assisted the forgotten customers so we could at least pay and go to another restaurant for the rest of the meal. Garden=five stars, waiter’s service=one star

Cozy room, but the jacuzzi didn’t work…. And 1 Chanel on the tv . Bring your own computer !

The restaurant is located within a castle and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and old monuments. The food is great, everything we ordered was delicious and looked good. The service was slow in the beginning but they made up for it after that and brought everything on time. The prices are moderate and fair. I recommend going there eating and taking photos.

It's our third visit here. Rated different good, and everything was delicious. NOTE for foreigners: the traditional food may be too heavy/ greasy for you, ask for ingredients before ordering.
