My little hidden foodie gem on the outskirts of Baltimore Co. Authentic tacos are the highlight here with their signature braised brisket (other proteins available), cheese, cilantro, onion, homemade salsa verde and guacamole on corn tortilla oh my! 🌮 The breakfast burritos are unmatched, with choice of bacon, sausage, brisket or veggies. Mexican hot chocolate w/ shot of espresso will put a smile on your face. Fresh baked muffins, out of this world blueberry danish, frosting coated cinnamon buns... I'll leave it at that and let you discover your own menu favorites. The service is friendly, efficient and quick! NCR trails surround this entire area, so go for a long walk in nature after lunch in Sparks, MD.

Very small place inside, just a couple tables but nice decorated; there's some table outside as well. Food was good, but I didn't like those grain flour tortillas, I'd stay on the regular flour tortillas or try another brand if they want to keep the grain ones.

Such a cute place with really great coffee. The stream and tables behind the building are an added bonus too!

I visited this cute coffee shop more than 5 times while visiting Maryland for work, and the service and items ordered were consistently great time and time again. The coffee is delicious, the decor is unique and transports you to an older time, their pastries are soooo fresh, and they were even able to make a vegan breakfast burrito for me upon request which I ate outside under the shade of beautiful, mature trees, all while listening to the sound of birds singing and water running in a creek that runs behind the shop. I wish I could have brought this charming coffee shop back home with me!

I was told this coffee shop would be able to serve up a coffee just like I got back home in Australia 🇦🇺, and they didn't disappoint. The service was great, and the way it was furnished was nostalgic. Great coffee, and the food was just as good. All very well priced. Highly recommended if you are in the area and need a coffee fix.

Cute local place with surprisingly great food and drinks! The Mexican food is super authentic and both delicious and fairly priced. Great option for a quick breakfast or lunch if you want to void fast food chains & support local businesses.

I come here almost every other day for lunch. I cannot recommend their lunch burrito enough; it is beyond delicious. All the staff are incredibly friendly, and if you come often enough, they will remember your name. It's a wonderful cafe to grab a quick bite on the go or unwind in their cozy atmosphere or beautiful scenery on their patio.

Best service, food, and coffee! I live rather close to Starbucks and other coffee shops and still choose to make the drive to The Filling Station. If you haven’t tried it out, do yourself a favor and head over here.

Stopped and had lunch here, great food, great service, nice outdoor seating and cool old gas station turned coffee shop / taco joint. Highly recommend. Only negative I would say is parking can be limited especially on the weekend!

This is a wonderful little unique coffee shop. They have great breakfast foods and pastries. A selection of coffees and teas that's sure to please. It can get very crowded on weekends when the weather is nice so plan accordingly.

We stopped here on a whim heading up 83, and we will definitely be back. The service was fast and friendly, the drip coffee was delicious, and the food options were great for a roadside cafe. We ate on the road, but there was plenty of seating outside and inside. I love how they maintained the integrity of the old gas station and gave it new life. Just by looking at the regulars who go there, I can tell it’s a beloved shop.

The coffee is good and the staff I've dealt with were nice, but the food is underwhelming. I've been a few times and have never enjoyed my food. Today my girl and I got salmon on a bagel and it took a while to come out and when we finally got it the bagels weren't even toasted. It took that long to smear cream cheese and lox on a cold bagel? I'll skip it for now on.

Great coffee shop with great cold brew, delicious pastries, and smoothies. They also have breakfast and lunch that I would definitely come back to try. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in town.

Not only is The Filling Station cute & fun, but has some of the best Mexican food in the Mid-Atlantic. Their menu is pretty amazing for such a small place. Each drink is better than the last; my favorite (tough pick) is the Mexican Hot Chocolate (cold version Mayan Iced Mocha). The staff is exceptional, highly competent, friendly, helpful & so fast I personally believe that they may be former Olympic medalists. It is obvious this is a good place to work & in my experience, employees treated well are invested in what they do & the good "vibe" doesn't exist at establishments that aren't well run, have good customer service, or have mediocre products. There is absolutely no reason NOT to try/frequent this place!!

This place is a hidden gem and a local fav! The location is beautiful and the creek out back makes the experience just that much better. I love that they repurposed the old gas station and kept its historic charm. They have adapted and continue to adapt during Covid. I’ve always felt safe when stopping by. Their tacos and burritos are delicious! Try the hot chocolate with two shots of espresso. Wear something cute - many photos ops!

Filling station is my ride or die favorite and has been for years. The food is always amazing. Even though we’ve moved fairly far away my partner and I make it a priority to come out for weekend treats. Truly one of my most favorite places in Maryland! Lately I have felt a little frustrated with some of the service. Orders have been wrong or missing extra (paid) items. Not sure why this keeps happening but I’ll still keep coming back. No add ons for me from now on though.

A local favorite with all the homemade & heartwarming feels & tastes featuring specialty drinks and mexican dishes. The outside is as unique and special as the staff & the food. Grateful to have this stop close by & a must for anyone driving through the area.

Good service at this roadside coffee shop with Mexican food. Very pleasant outdoor eating area out back. Convenient to NCRR and perfectly sited for my bike ride. Sausage burrito perfectly fine.

An enjoyable stop on the weekends. Everyone has a great attitude and service is exceptional. Due to this it's very popular stop and you can experience a wait.

Surprisingly nice breakfast/lunch spot hidden in the open as an old gas station. Shady area in the back along a stream with tables to enjoy & relax.
