Me and my friend came in a girls night Saturday and our server Jess was amazing!! Our drinks came so quickly and she was on it clearing our dishes once we were done. She definitely made our experience a great one!

Our whole group came in today at browns and must say our server Darshiil nailed it with his nature & behaviour truly a rockstar server . We were impressed by how he describes a dish and the way he talks. Quite a personality undoubtedly. Definitely coming back with my friends

The food and atmosphere were great …. But the highlight was our server Sid, who was just outstanding. Warm. Witty. Attentive. Highly recommended.

Nice place for a sit-down, fancy-ish meal. The drinks were pretty good, and the food is delicious; definitely a nice place for a formal meal.

This was a nice sojourn from a long day of driving and walking around the UBC campus moving my son into the dorms. The food was very good: especially the fries, chicken sandwich, side salad and burgers. The French Dip was just pretty good. I wouldn’t recommend it. It didn’t have enough meat to balance out the kinda hard roll it came on. Lots of beer choices and I enjoyed the Pilsner. Expensive for a brewery/sorta pub! But good service and atmosphere.

Great selection of food and craft beer, good place to hang out for a few drinks. The small nachos was enough for us to share between 4-5 people, loved the roast beef sandwich too. Deep fried Mac and cheese was nicely cooked and the tomato sauce helps with the heaviness of the Mac and cheese. Ordered the IPA and loved it - crisp and had a nice aroma. The service was fast and attentive although it was busy at the time of visit.

Browns is a nice pub type spot. We got seated quickly for lunch and our server was friendly and attentive. Drinks and food came out at decent times. My sister has celiacs disease and had heard Browns has gluten free options. They were able to make modifications on a meal and she enjoyed it, Blackened chicken Caesar with no croutons. I got a cheeseburger with Caesar salad. There’s a ramp and accessible entrance and chairs can be moved to fit wheelchairs.

One of the best places at UBC to hang out! Lovely staff and wonderful vibe. Tried the grilled chicken ramen and it was generously filled, almost couldn’t finish the whole meal. Other friends of mine ordered burgers and they said they were fantastic. Prices aren’t cheap, so it’s a place to go for a celebration once in a while.
