Came here for a friend’s birthday and the restaurant did a great job in celebrating the moment with our party. Right off the bat, the service was fast and quick! We were sat in an area that was quite eventful—especially since it was nearing Christmas at the time. The oysters were quite delicious, but the group did think it was slightly ever so fishy despite the garlic garnishing on top. It almost did simulate a raw oyster despite it being labelled as baked(?) on the menu. The steak, however, was done well. The burger was average—did not expect much from it. But the patty was delicious! Pasta could have been seasoned a little bit better, but was not a major issue to my friend who had it at the time. Overall, the food and experience were pleasant. I would consider Wildlight as an option for a group dinner in the future.
I came for their Happy Hour menu which I thought was the most affordable. I tried almost all their items. Their chicken wings are a showstopper...definitely a must have. I liked their chicken burger but not the side salad. Ambience was comfortable and staff were attentive. Will definitely go back again if I'm ever in the area.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wildlight Kitchen & Bar, and I can confidently say it’s an exceptional culinary experience. Actually, I’ve eaten at the restaurant on multiple occasions and it’s been perfect every time. As a true celebration of West Coast culture and cuisine, the restaurant effortlessly blends fresh, local ingredients with bold flavours that reflect the beauty and diversity of the region. The ambiance of Wildlight is warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe that sets the perfect tone for a memorable meal. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a sense of relaxed sophistication, and the attentive, friendly staff make you feel right at home. As for the food, it’s absolutely outstanding. The menu offers a thoughtful array of dishes that showcase the best of West Coast cuisine, from fresh seafood to locally sourced vegetables. Every dish is carefully crafted, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. The cocktails are also top-notch, perfectly complementing the dishes and adding a fun, creative twist to the dining experience. Whether you’re enjoying a casual meal with friends or celebrating a special occasion, Wildlight Kitchen & Bar delivers a dining experience that exceeds expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in the best of West Coast flavours!
Came here for Dine Out Vancouver and was not disappointed. The food was absolutely incredible and a great value. The chowder was satisfying and the root vegetable salad was a fantastic symphony of flavors. The duck leg confit was the star of the show and one of my favorite meals I've ever had. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good food
Had a great time at Wildlight Kitchen + Bar today. What we ordered: mimosas, chicken & waffles and crab cake benedict (beautifully presented and delicious 😋) The interior, modern. The atmosphere, lively. The staff, welcoming. Overall great vibes. I’m going to need to go back soon to try the other things on their menu!
Wasn’t too difficult getting a reservation on Valentines Day. Cozy dimly lit main dining room. We sat in the enclosed glass patio. Our server was cheerful and helpful. We ordered the The Wildlight Pescatarian Board, Grilled Beet & Burrata Salad, Braised Beef Cheek and the Seafood Linguine. The Board was delightful. Every part of it was flavourful, creative and fun to eat. Our favourite was the smoked cod rillette. The salad was tasty (I forgot to take a photo) but maybe not as much beet or burrata as I had hoped for. The beef cheek was great but the crunchy accompaniments were a little too crunchy. Our seafood pasta was nicely al dente and the seafood was very tasty. We will be back!
So happy we chose Dine out experience at Wildlight! We couldn’t be happier. We both started with Clam Chowder (you can feel the sand in your mouth how real the seafood in it is) 10/10 Duck Confit with white beans 6/10 - duck wasn’t that dry as we expected but why beans..?! Super weird combination,flavourless.. Mushroom risotto 10/10! Rich, flavour, real chunks of mushrooms- amazing!! Chocolate tart 9/10 - rich, super chocolate with smooth salted caramel cream Black sesame lemon cake 10/10 - didn’t have better dessert in ages! You just need to try! I also chose wine pairing with my courses - well chosen. Thank you very much for your amazing food, outstanding service and feel welcome in their restaurant.
We came on a Saturday during happy hour. The restaurant was pretty empty. I love how it's laid out and the number of tables they have. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Happy hour wildlight drinks get $2 off Inverted dude - was a coffee based drink. I didn't really like it. I wouldn't get it again Negroni - strong and delicious Mussels and fries (16) - plentiful and well seasoned. Loved the sauce. The French fries were crispy and addictive. Would recommend Chicken wings 10 pieces (12) - pretty standard. Crispy on the outside. On the sweeter side. Overall would come back to try their other items. Prices during happy hour are a steal
