When searching for Norvan Falls, Google may show this location, but it's not the actual entrance or parking area. Instead, search for "Norvan Falls parking" to find the correct spot. The trail itself is beautiful, and you can usually find free parking about 200m before the entrance, next to the pay parking lot.

Norvan Falls did not disappoint!! Great hike for beginners wanting to take there hiking to the next level. The last 3km before the falls has a few challenging spots but other then that its not to bad. Starting to get muddy in sections after all the current rain. We started from the free parking lot and it was 20km round trip and our moving time was 5 and a half hours. We had a picnic by the falls and ended up having the falls to ourselves. Lots of pretty scenery during the hike.

Beautiful spot for a hike. Waterfalls and scenery were amazing. Bring lots of water and good shoes. Lots of river crossings and a bit of mud.

It's more of a flat trail. To and fro is 13+ kms. Walk towards fall, took 2 hrs, and returned in 90 mins. In total, the walk may not take more than 4 hours, and you can add 30 mins to check out the falls. Well maintained trail, dogs are not on leash. It's worth visiting when falls are frozen. Absolutely no cell phone signal, and that's definitely a surprise.

A nice hike that would take 4.5-5 hours depending on your pace. I was pretty slow going up as I was exploring the area but went down pretty quickly, especially after seeing bear marks (which I was praying it was a big dog lol), definitely gave me the boost to go down fast! It was a good hike, I couldn’t get a front view of the falls as it was hard to get closer since it rained the day before. Probably wont do it again, was not a big fan of it but it is great for beginners to test their abilities. People were running up the trail so that’s an option. I did see the bridge which was scary to cross xD I initially thought there’s another trail on the other side of it so I crossed but there wasn’t so I crossed back on the bridge and got a mini heart attack.

Did this 14 km (to and fro) hike in the first week of February, and it was absolutely stunning! The trail was covered in snow, and flurries were falling throughout the hike, adding to the magical winter atmosphere. It’s mostly flat with a gentle incline, except for the last quarter, which has a slightly steeper section—but nothing too challenging. Be prepared for a long hike, especially in snowy conditions. Waterproof footwear is a must, and I highly recommend microspikes or crampons for better traction. The parking situation was a bit tight—the first lot was paid, but the other three seemed free (though nearly full). The highlight was an 85-90% frozen waterfall at the end—totally worth the trek! Highly recommend this hike for a serene and scenic winter adventure.
