I would say the view is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful . If you wanna get some air or clear your head perfect place to be .
Nice beach for the northwest . It is a normal rock beach you find up here in the pacific northwest. A good place to watch sea planes and ships come and go. With downtown Vancouver to the east and a sun set to the west in the summer months. Can be a little windy .
只有好天氣
Fav beach on this side of the pond.
OMG I inadvertently walked down wooden stairs to a nudist beach there. Men with huge schlongs hanging in the wind totally naked and free. The woman were like a flower child. I felt so I'm free to run naked along the sand!
Quiet place 😌
Delightful hidden spot! Can’t wait to come back here in the summer!
Good beach. Nice view
My favourite sneaky link, always take fresh Vancouver guests here
Beautiful rocky beach. Not really for walking or swimming as the rocks make it treacherous. More for sitting and watching the ocean and ships go by. It's peaceful. There's a small picnic area upstairs from the beach with about 3 or 4 picnic tables. Nice view.
Really nice little beach in the UBC area. Small parking lot up top (free, with 3 hour max) with tons of walking trails and beautiful views. The beach itself currently was washed up with a bunch of rocks and logs, but I don't know how that is compared to the summer months. Washrooms available down from the parking lot, picnic benches available. Very clean space. Access to the water is limited with staircases.
Beautiful place to see mountains, Vancouver skyline, & have picnic. Parking is very limited though. Great views. Perfect spot to relax.
A tiny beach front with tables and gorgeous views. This place was quiet, and on a cloudy day, I felt like I could just sit at one of the tables and read a book.
Disappointed we came here on a misty raining day. The scenery must be gorgeous on a better day.
It's remarkable how stunning the scenery and nature is around UBC campus! The epic views of the mountains left me mesmerized. Seeing the clean waters as well as the waves crashing into the shore, brings you into a meditative state of calmness. You get a beautiful view of the downtown Vancouver core from this beach, which is paired with mountains and the ocean breeze. I can imagine coming to this beach to destress from a long day of study sessions. The beach itself has beautiful long wooden logs and rocks on shore, so I do recommend and suggest wearing appropriate footwear when coming to this beach to explore! Parking is available for a few hours and is free for those that would like to come onto the site
Best part is the picnic area with a scenic view. The beach itself is all rocks with no sand. There are two bathrooms which is nice except they're right by the picnic area. There is a short trail to the start of wreck beach, although a long rocky walk to actually reach the main area of wreck beach.
