Humble Ambient. Family Cosey Had a super kind gentleman in the right, dark shirt, pay for our meal. We were speechless. Server said he'll pay for guests with kids from time to time when he dines in. If you see this. We thank you! Now you gave me an idea & I'll follow in your footsteps by doing the same to others. Had a great time with the family. I surprised them & myself eating here. Good food 😋 👌 God bless everyone 🙏

Just finished dinner… Underwhelming. The “Top Shelf” Margarita was bland, diluted and tasted like made from mix (although when I asked , the server said the limes are fresh squeezed. Funny). The Elote corn was boiled (we asked); the corn is supposed to be grilled. The chips are the discount, thin variety. Tasteless. I could go on… judging by the high average review ratings, their Bartlett customers don’t know what great Mexican food tastes like. This wasn’t a planned stop, it just happened to be convenient … Bartlett people: enjoy your below average food!

Amazing food. Very authentic and high quality ingredients. The outdoor seating during the summer is so great, especially while sipping on one of the many delicious margarita flavors they serve. Very friendly staff. Just has that small, family run restaurant vibe. If you’re brave, try the salsa diabla 🔥 but fair warning… there’s a reason it says “no-refunds” next to the name on the menu.

My family and I ride our bikes here since we live close. The leaves around look beautiful year round now during fall- almost fake. The lights make it super cozy. I highly recommend sitting outside 🙂

Food and service were fantastic. Flavorful and delicious. Not salty, just well-crafted tasty food. In addition the service was extra warm and friendly. Definitely plan to return.

It's good, we've been going here for years. This was our first visit since that Rona. I love their ranchero sauce. Steak was a little tough tonight, however their beans...I would smack my momma for those! It's just good food, good people, good atmosphere.

First time as a friend of a friend recommended. The staff is very friendly, however; the food we had was not what I expected. Had a chimichanga and my wife had a shrimp meal. My wife’s margarita was absolutely awful; did not taste fresh. The place is in bad need of updating too. Will not be returning to dine there.

We ordered take out for lunch. I'm very glad so many things on their menu can be vegetarian, and we got vegetarian burritos and fries. The burritos were almost flavorless. The rice seemed to have no seasoning, the beans may have been straight from a can, and there was virtually no cheese. Their sauces were fine, but there wasn't enough to save the burritos. The fries were battered and really good, and the food was ready when they said it would be though.

I wanted to order, but it was very busy. I waited 20 minutes . ( I met some friends there, they had already ordered). I tried to order a few times, but the first time they said they have to get someone who speaks English. When the woman came 15 mins later and said one moment, did give me a menu, (I think). She came back about 10 mins later , took my drink order. I never got to order food. The drink was good, but expensive. When we went to pay, the receipt given us was totally wrong. All I can say is that it was busy. My friends said their food was good.

I went to JC's last night for a networking event. We had a large group (15+ people) and were seated out on their new outdoor patio. The food was excellent (not sure why I've waited so long to dine here) and the service with our large party was outstanding. Will be going back with my family.

Have not been inside. Patio is not pet friendly which was a little disappointing. Food was delicious and good service. Generous portions. Will not leave Hungry! Deserts were great

Fabulous mole! Yummy guacamole. I had chicken enchiladas mole & my husband had enchiladas pastor with red sauce. Great service. No waiting. Lovely atmosphere. Delicious margaritas!

I ordered a ground beef tostada off the lunch menu. It was very bland. Meat was not really seasoned, no sauce on it at all. The Spanish rice was mediocre, too. They charge an outrageous extra amount for steak or shredded beef to any entree. I wasn't really impressed by the flavor or portion size at all for the price.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a very long time. Woman at the front was not very welcoming. My daughter was standing on one of the chairs playing with the toys on one of the rooms. She came in and told us she couldn’t do that despite us watching her like a hawk. We had 2 family members around her. When I explained that I as her mother knows her well, she told me that we couldn’t stay then. At this point we had waited 15 minutes for a place to sit.

I have been to many Mexican restaurants over the years, but I have to say that JC's is a step above all my other favorites. The food is insanely good, as is the service. Family oriented atmosphere unlike the chain Mexican restaurants. Additionally, JC's is actually more reasonably priced (bonus). My favorite item is the gotditas (specifically the rajas con queso and the asada). Really can't go wrong with anything here though. It's conveniently located right across the street from the train station in Bartlett. I am fortunate to work in the area so I can frequent JC's.

The entire staff is beyond courteous and very helpful. Helpful in the way to answer any questions or specifics you would have on their menu. The various authentic, and extremely delicious Mexican food dishes are the best in Bartlett. Their Al pastor is mouth watering and I can honestly say the best I've ever had. Order it in a taco, gordita, torta, burrito, or just by itself with a fork. You'll immiedetly want to eat it again in all of the ways I just mentioned and then some. If you want a real treat afterwards, order yourself a tres leches cake for dessert. You can thank me later!

First time coming here, as it was recommended by a neighbor. Ordered take out, a little bit of everything from the menu to try it out. It was delicious, very authentic Mexican, great flavors and portions. My family and I had chile relleno, gordita, burrito, carne tampiquena, and tried the horchata. All was great! High recommend this place. I will be coming back soon.

Drinks and the outside seating area was very charming. Food was very bland and overpriced. Menu offered items with two sides but then listed extra $3.00 for sides? Confused. Everything had an extra charge, two taco platter one price but if you want one this way and one that way $1.00 extra. What type of sauce....$2.50 extra...it was annoying. Would go back for drinks and chips and salsa but not food. Staff was friendly.

This family-owned restaurant in the heart of downtown Bartlett makes the best margaritas and their delicious recipes are straight from Mexico. In the summer, sit on their patio and enjoy great food and drinks while watching Bartlett in action. A big thumbs up!

Came to JCs for dinner last Saturday night and loved it. Restaurant has a cozy feel, almost like being in someone's home. We were seated right away. Server brought us chips and salsa. Drinks were great and the food even better. The al pastor tacos and the torta were all outstanding. I've been to many great Mexican restaurants in the city and JCs is right there with them.

Dinner was good. My mango margarita was ok I enjoyed the actual fruit in it. Suggestion would be to use actual margarita glasses. Personality of staff I think should maybe more welcoming!
