Hotel staff welcoming. Rooms spacious and very clean. Breakfast had different choices and never ran out of food. Many different areas to meet outside of rooms. Pool was nice size.

Everyone we interacted with was very nice. The room was clean and breakfast had good options for both grab and go and to sit down. They even made little flowers out of wash clothes on the beds which was cute and a nice touch. Our keys did stop working after the first night but they fixed it quickly. I was overall very pleased.

If your thinking of booking this hotel, DO IT because this place is simply amazing! Location, staff, & amenities are top notch! Easy access, friendliest staff, & desire to meet the needs of customers is apparent! This will be my go to accommodation for every trip to Madison.

Last Saturday [12/31] my partner and I went down for breakfast before our departure. It was approximately 6:50AM. The lights were off but all the food was all set up. Didn't think anything of it, since we just woke up. We began serving ourselves when a younger african american woman with dreads and a hat on popped her head out of the kitchen to inform up breakfast wasn't until 7AM. She was very rude about it. We sat down with our bowls of cereal and waited the few minutes difference. The young woman exits the kitchen, grabs my plate of half served food and chucks it in the garbage. I had asked her why she did that and she charged at me instantly, got in my face which scared me a bit because the lights were out still. She bent over and got attitude about why she threw my plate away. I was upset at this point. I asked her why she was in my face while I was sitting down at the first available chair beneath the television. The she started to back up. I implied that was very unprofessional and she said that she "didnt care because she will be there tomorrow anyway." At this point, on my way back to my room, I was disturbed by another woman, older african american, who caused a scene in front of the elevator as we were waiting for it to open. I shrugged her comment off because these woman were looking for a response and not a solution. Another lady presences herself, as the assistant manager. Didn't identify her name or any genuine act of kindness to deliberate appropriately. I was already flustered at this point. My first two encounters that early on a Saturday morning were enough for me, but the "assistant manager" didn't seem to care that a guest was being treated poorly by her own employees. We didn't get to eat breakfast that morning because of the danger the kitchen staff surprised us with and then to be disturbed by a house keeper who felt opinionated and chose to say something to a stranger in passing just to stir things up. I would NOT suggest staying here. I payed to stay in their "king suite" for 1 week, approx $140 a day and this is the kind of treatment I got the one day I finally decide to even have their hotel breakfast. My partner had complained previously about the cleanliness of the room they hardly even accomondated us for. We found hair in the tub, in between the sheets and gum on the floor. When we booked the room, we were not informed the pool and hot tub were out of order. this whole trip was a nightmare and I wouldn't suggest anyone staying here with the lack of professionalism they have running this hotel. I would not rate this safe by any means.

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and I gotta say I was thoroughly pleased. I was greeted right away by the staff at the hotel and my check in was prompt and efficient. There were quite a few people staying there but it was quiet the entire time we were there. The lobby was clean and vibrant as was our room. I would also like to comment that their Continental breakfast was actually a breakfast with various options. Most places these days just offer you coffee and granola bars and that’s it. And breakfast was great! One more important thing to note was the location. It is a hidden treasure because there are so many options of places to dine at in Monona like Toby’s, Buck and Honey’s, etc. And it’s right off the expressway. For the price I paid for this place and everything that came with it I was very pleased. I come into Madison a lot for business and will definitely use this place whenever it is available!

Best pet friendly hotel you can find in Madison. Room is very clean and spatial. The people there are super friendly and helpful. It’s a dog lover’s best option :)

The room was filthy there was some sort of smoking device left in room. The room was found to have spiders coming out of the sink and behind the mirrors I was very tired upon a late check in . The young man was accommodating. However the next day upon noticing the bugs and paraphernalia. The lady behind the desk was extremely rude, I pleaded with her that I did not want to cause a scene about the condition of the room. After her rude behavior she decided I could change rooms but it was going to have to be done right now!

Check in fella was fantastic. Got back to our room late. Dirty bathroom, dirty floor, crusty stains on blanket. Said something to guy on duty he said "ok". Next morning tried talking to someone got igbored. Sat night, had another issue and was told manager not on duty. For the amount spent this was ridiculous and not worth it !!!

I had to work in Madison for the week and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Monona, WI. It's a very clean hotel with a nice open layout. It has a beautiful courtyard to relax in, an indoor heated pool, a gym, and a nice hot breakfast every morning. I had a room w 2 queen beds, and it was very spacious. It had a desk, a 40-inch LCD/Plasma TV, fridge, microwave, and a nice desk. It also had a nice separate bathroom with plenty of counter space and came equipped with a blow dryer. It's also in a great location that is within 5 minutes of several stores(including a large grocery store), restaurants, and gas stations.

Cozy, clean rooms and friendly staff. Everyone who stayed there while we were there were very friendly as well. The room had a tv, two queen beds, extra bedding, a refrigerator, hair dryer, coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion and plenty of outlets to plug in your needs. There is a pool and hot tub downstairs that we enjoyed. The pool is 3’ - 4’6” I believe so not deep but still plenty of room to swim. They do have dehumidifiers running so it’s a bit loud. The breakfast was the best I’ve had for free breakfast at a hotel. The options were different all 3 mornings. They had the usual waffles, toast and cereal but also offered yogurt, English muffins, bagels, scrambled eggs, sausage, French toast, breakfast potatoes and had plenty of toppings available for waffles (chocolate chips and fruity) or for the eggs (hot sauce, salsa and cheese) and even had sugar free syrup available. They have cookies and lemon water at the front desk and a bowl of candy, along with games to play in the lobby. We had a couple minor issues, our cards stopped working but the desk was able to fix it in 30 seconds and in our room the remote only worked to turn the tv on but didn’t change the channels (no big deal for us since we were only there at night to sleep). Would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a wedding, and had a relaxing and pleasant stay here. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice pool and hot tub. The decor has been updated since photos were posted (no blue plaid carpet as I had seen online.) The staff members were friendly. Would happily choose this place again.

I liked that the facility and room was clean, everything was in working order. The suite seemed larger than average. The weekend I was there, it was quiet. The food was typical, but no complaints from me there. A hot breakfast and ample coffee gets me through just fine. The front desk staff seemed a bit frazzled, but working solo can do that to a person. Always enjoy the check in more when there's a chocolate chip cookie available to take my mind off the wait, so a thumbs up for that. Although this is nowhere near a luxury hotel, I was very impressed with the facility. Great hot tub. The price was better than average for the area I was. I would recommend this hotel, and would not hesitate to stay there again.

I literally asked if the pool was open. She said yes. Go look at the pool closed. Check in what's the price $114. Look at my account $140. Why wouldn't you say the full price at check in with tax. Worst worst worst experience ever. Completely ruined our night for the basketball game.

The ladies at the front desk were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Heads up, during our stay the pool and gym were getting renovated. So to add to the benefit, Urban Air basic admission tickets were given to guests for their children or their pleasure with a trampoline park. Convenience on that side of town by the beltway. Now on to the room. The room was "mid". A very traditional double room. It had a smoky smell in the bathroom but other than that it wasn't much to it. It was clean to my standards as I have worked in hospitality myself. It was quiet on the floor and we had a very good time. You can control the heat with the A/C or thermometer. The view was of the frozen lake behind it. There are many shops and restaurants near and behind the hotel! Across the street is a Red Robins and Taco Bell. I did not enjoy the complimentary breakfast but for the price, I won't complain. (Potatoes could be cooked longer.) Other than that, it's the overall basic hotel experience. Have no big expectations and you won't be disappointed. Just saying. Looking forward to staying again.

Was asked to leave cause of I don't even know. Some girl working knew me and made something up next thing I know they where opening my door without knocking and asking me to leave without talking to me first about whatever this girl said.. (she use to run another hotel and lost job shortly after I made a bad review cause of her specific behavior)So I did and they said they returned all of my deposit o ly got half back and had only just paid for a 2nd night like 30 mins before that

I came there 12 AM on Saturday(10/29/22) and asked the receptionist for some help because my husband had reserved our room at the wrong time for that day. The receptionist seemed like they didn’t want to help me and they yelled at me after my 3rd question. I just decided to cancel my reservation because of the terrible experience and the rudeness from the receptionist. If I could, I would give this hotel zero stars.

Great friendly service! The room was clean and fresh. Hot continental breakfast was very good. Great location to grab food and not far away from campus.

Stayed here for Madison Ironman weekend, which is a busy weekend. There was plenty of room for all my gear, the room was clean, and it was far enough away from downtown to be affordable, but close enough so it was easy to get around. The weather may not have cooperated, but the hotel was great for what I needed.

We booked 2 rooms, adjacent. 1 was completely uncleaned and so we ended up with rooms on separate floors on opposite ends of the hotel. The window shade and hall door did not cover the gaps fully so light came in. Shower water pressure was also pathetic. It gets 2 stars for being safe and staff interactions we did have were nice.

This hotel was a nightmare. We had a filthy room. The pool was full of screaming kids and they were whipping a football around and my wife was hit in the head. Management did nothing. There wasn't enough food in the morning at breakfast. Kids were screaming down the hall until 1am. Management did nothing. Our room had a pair a dirty underwear left in it, so obviously, it wasn't cleaned at all. We complained and thought we were comped for the night because we were not charged. But now, a month later, the charge of $225 just went through. We called and were told that banks sometimes take that long to process a charge. That is ridiculous. Stay away from this dump!

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the last few months. This was the nicest Country Inn and Suites I have stayed in. Very reasonable prices for how welcoming the staff is, fantastic full breakfast options, room was spotless and smelled so fresh. The indoor pool and hot tub were another plus!

LilyAnna was wonderful and displayed excellent customer service. There was an issue with the room we were originally checked into and she was able to find us a room that worked out perfectly for us. Room was nice and loved the ceiling fan in the living area. 💕

Rooms were very clean. Fridge, Microwave, great breakfast. Pool was very nice and great temp. Was disappointed on location of the 2 rooms after I even requested them next to each other when reservations were made. Otherwise very nice.

Truly awesome. We booked about 10 rooms and relatives booked additional 5-6 rooms for my dad's funeral. Staff lady made extra fresh pot of coffee for us becuz she saw that we stayed in the lobby/eating area chatting with family from all over that came for our dad's funeral. You should give the lady a raise! Forgot her name ...but she is a bigger lady. No offense, just trying to describe her. We love her!!!

Convenient 2pm check in and friendly staff upon arrival. Rooms are a bit small, you have to finagle the bathroom door because it hits the entry door. Rooms were very clean.  Pool area was ok, kids didn't seem to mind. We had a large group that reserved the meeting room for the weekend, which was very nice! Breakfast that is included was also nice - had a few shortages the second morning, but that is due to deliveries, and out of their control. Would stay here again.

Clean and quiet. Great pool and spa which is what we needed. It was very relaxed! It was also nice to wake up and see the Ice fisherman out on the inlet! Especially since I used to ice fish there as well when I was younger. Definitely recommend! 👍
