This particular play we went to see was NOT for children. The synapses wasn't really telling to what we would encounter. I love the APT! This play though, No Thank You.

We had a magical picnic, then walked up the "WILD" western trail to the amazing wooded hills lookout. We saw LIARS and laughed our eyes to tears. 😊👍🤣 7.20.23

Excellent performance with quality acting, choreography, singing, dancing, and directing. I saw two performances in the past two nights (Our Town and Merry Wives of Windsor). The APT actors do Shakespeare so well that it makes it easier to understand the play. Tomorrow night I am seeing Romeo and Juliet and from what I am told it is done with a twist as Romeo is deaf. Can't wait to see it! I have seen plays at both Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon and at APT in Spring Green and I have learned to appreciate Shakespeare's plays when they are performed by exceptional actors.

Magical and a nice goal for a weekend get-away! Classic plays performed by A+ Acting. (Shakespeare included) For outdoors it is acoustically sound and quite pleasant! Crickets and Whip-poor-wills accompany nighttime performances. Arrive hour or so early and bring a picnic/bottle of wine to enjoy with a peaceful background. (Sometimes local musicians picking celtic tunes); they have dozens of tables and even some grills. Some tables located in woods while others in meadows. They even provide bug spray if needed. Natural landscaping lends to a cozy-casual feel. Then a lovely, warmly lit stroll up the hill to the outdoor theater . (They also have a smaller indoor theater with different performances) Intermission has sales of drinks and snacks. Plenty of restrooms and lines moves quickly. If walking uphill isnt possible they also offer a bus/trolly up. Quite nice for our friends who cannot walk with us.

Simply one of the best things about living in Wisconsin. Saw license plates from Iowa and Illinois in the parking lot last night. Lady at the end of our row drove 2.5 hours from Milwaukee. Count recommend more highly.

Stellar! Beautiful night! Picnic with friends was fabulous! If you love a good comedy, don't miss this! You don't have to be a Shakespeare buff to enjoy this production. A romping comedy is putting it mildly... what a fantastic cast and performance!!! David Daniels as Falstaff gives a whole new meaning to "sexy"! Other comedic performances by Jim Devita (what an up-do), Josh Krause (he can sing???), Kelsey Brennan, Tracy Michelle Arnold (think who-ville hair), Marcus Truscinski, Jim Ridge, DeeDee Beeaft, and Nate Burger are over the top! Thank you APT for your continued devotion to making the classics accessible to all!

APT was amazing! Saw two performances in one day and loved them both. The actors were amazing, the sets devine, and atmosphere perfect!

Wow this place is incredible! Not too far from Madison. They have a little shop to buy gifts and a stand for food and drinks. The outdoor theatre itself is beautiful. It’s set in the woods. A must go to if you’re near Madison in the summer! I saw Sense and Sensibility at around 7:30pm on a weekday(great time to go if you don’t mind staying up a bit late). The evening is a wonderful time to see a play since it’s not too hot and the coolness of the evening makes things more enjoyable:) bug spray provided. Very wheelchair accessible (take the bus and they will drop you right off at the theatre).
