I loved the ambience of this cafe and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dishes! I ordered a delish garden egg omelet w/ avocado and feta plus pancakes alongside a side of waffle fries! My mom got a veggie panini, which she absolutely devoured! I hope to return and try more yum food!

I had the avocado toast with egg whites and their home potatoes. My husband had a huevos Ranchero and he said they were really good. Everything is as fresh as they claim. Homemade salsa too! We got there and the place had about a dozen tables at some stage of ordering and eating. The only server was slammed and verbally frustrated. He was serving and had to clean tables, and was so busy he couldn't do both. Understandably. Despite all this his attitude was great toward the customers he was taking care of and was friendly. I appreciated his effort.

Went for brunch with my cousins had a great time interacting with the staff got them laughing and they did the same in return !!! Will definitely return for our next get together ! Food was tasty and warm, and service was beyond what I have had in the recent past. Hopefully our server who was training will get the job he was funny , attentive and an awesome server! By the way we were the ridiculously funny three ladies who came there on Friday March 10 , thanks guys!!!

My husband and I are very happy to have met our waitress named Rachel. She gave excellent customer service and helped us decide what to order on the menu. The food is amazing. Highly recommend

It's a very nice and quiet place. Reasonable prices. Good service too. We ordered two cappuccinos, strawberry and banana crepes, the peach and cinnamon crepes and a glass of milk (kids menu) and it was around $40.

I came here with my 10.5 month old and my elderly grandmother. I was carrying my daughter and escorting my grandmother in and one of the young men who worked there ran to open and hold the door for us both when we were coming in and as we were leaving. That small gesture meant so much to me. The food was delicious. I had a build your own skillet and loved it. My grandmother has the corned beef hash and pancakes and loved it. I'm happy to have found this little gem in our new neighborhood!

Delicious banana walnut waffle! 99% of the time it's a great experience and delicious food when dining at Jelly and when ordering for delivery. But it's been more than a couple times that I've ordered for delivery where the portions were not what they are usually, undercooked food, poorly packaged, and missing utensils and condiments. There are a few of us who order delivery who work long hours and the graveyard shift. Night shift workers are often overlooked and with the effects of the pandemic with stores closing earlier and with fewer choices of course we find ways to make it work and the convenience that deliveries brought throughout the pandemic was such an upside esp for a nightshift worker. *** All I’m asking is please be thoughtful of your packaging (if budget allows) (separating cold from hot items) and if out of ingredients please don't mask it by doubling the portion sizes of the sides because if I've wanted an extra portion of the side I don’t mind paying and adding an extra portion. But please provide the right portion size for the entree and if it’s not possible then please rescind the order or give a heads up and send a message but don’t give false hope and disappointment to a loyal patron who feels tricked and wasted hard earned money. As someone who has worked in different kitchens working different positions as server, line worker, food prep, dishwasher, I’m aware of the rush and the shortage the f&r industry experiences even pre-pandemic times. Even now as a healthcare worker I empathize. It’s disappointing that quality fails sometimes because of that. This is a good go-to place for breakfast, nice ambiance, friendly crew/servers and just like everyone else can use some room for improvement on a few shortcomings.

We had crepes, California chicken sandwich and chicken panini and all taste awesome. Their presentation was good too! Hot chocolate is not worth a try though 😅.

Stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It wasn't quite full, but it was on the busier side. My first impression was that Jelly Cafe is a smaller and more modern version of an old fashioned pancake house. Located on the Golf Road side of the plaza here, it can be easily found and there is ample parking. For breakfast I ordered the Avocado Bacon Omelet. It's a 4 egg omelet. Wasn't quite was I was expecting. The omelet was blended of all the ingredients and was Green in color and very fluffy. Certainly unique, but lacked the flavors of both the avocado and the bacon. There was considerable amounts of chopped Red Pepper inside and a decent amount of melted Mozzarella resting on top. Alongside the omelet were diced breakfast potatoes which were very tasty and I opted for the fruit in place of toast/pancake. The fruit too, was very good and fresh. Our waitress was a very pleasant lady. Don't think we ever got her name, but she did a good job. The food was prepared a little faster than I was expecting as well. Big plus for me here is that water is readily available in large glass bottles at each table and that you don't need to ask for refills. I would certainly return to Jelly in the future.

Stopped in for the first time yesterday around 930am. So quaint and starting to fill up. Seated immediately by a lovely person to a table that was comfortable but close. C or Kristina was exceptional, taking great care of us. Food was fabulous and just the RIGHT portion for a change. Corned beef hash! Awesome. Thanks to all for a great first experience.

Love this place! Cute little restaurant with nice atmosphere and delicious food! Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. Didn’t catch his name but he had brown hair and a long beard, very nice guy! I ordered the steak and eggs which were delicious and my husband got the burger and loved it. Coffee is great too! Definitely check this place out!!

This place is definitely a great place to go have breakfast. It was my first visit today. Very friendly staff from start to finish. I had a wonderful waitress by the name of Rachel recommend the jelly French toast which was amazing. Her service was 5 stars within itself. Definitely will be back. Food service atmosphere everything was great.

Awesome breakfast. My wife said it was the best skillet she's ever had, and she's a bit finicky. Minus two stars on atmosphere for the tight quarters, and minus one star overall for their takeout order tip policy, which reads all takeout tips go to the restaurant. We'll be back.

To be the first customers & all the booths were dirty with some type of grit. We kept going from table to table and all were the same. I informed lady and she barely wiped it. She Only did the half of table then places the utensils on the table. I wiped mine and held it the entire time. I should have left but decided to give them a chance . You’d figure that she would have wiped down all the tables and seats but she didn’t and people were entering and sitting down. I saw the man wipe the table and seat with his hand . Food was not good. I should have just cooked at home. Coffee was not flavorful. Bad coffee. Pancakes tasted like the mixture before it gets cooked and red potatoes were greasy and needed to be cooked longer. The eggs were a little too salty. Overall it wasn’t good at all. My husband’s pumpkin pancakes weren’t good either . He said it tasted like the mixture before cooking the pancakes too. We went to McDonald’s after spending $50 at the Jelly Cafe . Sad to say but sausage egg biscuit was way better and cheaper.

I catered breakfast out of this location. The food was very good, ready on time and organized into separate hot and cold bags. Several hours later I realized I didn’t have a receipt. Staff went above and beyond to track one down and send to me. Very good customer service!

Had a fantastic start of our vacation here. Patrick gave us a sample of their famous jelly, and was all around incredibly attentive to every table. All three of the staff working the front of house made sure we had everything we needed at some point and the food was delicious!

Jelly Cafe is our favorite Breakfast place in Arlington Heights & Mt. Prospect. The food, its presentation & service are excellent. We have traveled nationally & internationally & almost always refer back to Jelly Cafe as being better. It could be larger but they have another facility on Quentin & Dundee in Palatine if you really want larger. That negative review sounds like an envious competitor or disgruntled employee (they fired. )

Been coming here since they opened, always with a pleasant experience and a full belly, but today was different. Ordered 3 different waffle types plus Beignets and waited maybe 20 minutes. Picked them up, drove the 3 minutes to my house, and opened up the containers, and they were mush and cold. Tried calling 9x but was busy. When I finally gotten through to complain, I was told nothing could be done initially, which then became we will replace the order. I was then hung up on by the woman who took my order in the beginning. When I went back, another woman apologized left and right and almost made up for the bad experience, except the pecan and peach waffles were made with walnuts. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident, but listening in (I know, I know) to other complaints by the clients seated suggests it wasn't.
