Chicagoland
should
feel
very
lucky
to
have
this
park
to
visit.
You
feel
like
you
are
on
vacation.
The
equipment
is
top
of
the
line
and
the
crew
consistently
checks
on
climbers
to
make
sure
they
are
tightened
up
and
safe.
Everyone
in
the
crew
that
we
came
into
contact
with
were
helpful
and
polite.
The
park
is
very
clean
and
maintained.
Things
to
take
note
of:
-Bring
Leather
gloves
with
you
that
fit
well
and
a
bandana.
(These
items
are
also
on
sale
here
if
needed).
-There
are
some
picnic
tables
and
benches
for
your
family
while
others
are
climbing.
-You
can
bring
food
and
there
is
a
restaurant
on
the
East
side
of
park.
-It’s
also
free
to
walk
around
the
park.
-Bring
water
bottles
that
have
a
solid
loop
to
carabiner
into
your
climbing
gear.
-I
suggest
the
8
Towers
Adventure
as
a
great
way
to
get
to
know
the
climbing
structures.
This
is
not
for
the
faint
of
heart
and
will
test
you
to
your
core.
Although,
if
you
fall
off
an
obstacle,
you
can
be
assured
that
you
are
safe.
The
double
lock-in
safety
system
is
amazing
and
will
not
allow
you
to
remove
both
safety
straps
at
the
same
time.
-Mountain
bikes
are
for
rent
and
the
course
is
sick!
-Paddle
boats,
single
and
double
kayaks
are
also
for
rent.
It’s
hard
to
get
them
on
the
phone.
You
will
have
to
go
online
to
sign
up
and
also
sign
a
waiver.
This
can
all
be
done
in
person
day
of
depending
on
availability.
Like
other
reviewers
have
said.
It’s
a
great
place
to
spend
quality
time
with
your
family.
We
obviously
can’t
wait
to
return
to
The
Forge!!
Thanks
for
bringing
this
great
300
acre
adventure
park
just
20
miles
outside
of
Chicago.
