Me
and
my
partner
like
to
try
different
restaurants
and
not
all
of
our
experiences
are
successful,
but
The
King
of
Fish
surpassed
our
expectations
♡
When
we
first
arrived
we
wanted
to
sit
in
the
back.
It
was
cleverly
decorated
and
spacious
and
we
wanted
to
take
in
the
full
ambiance.
Unfortunately,
it
was
a
little
chilly
so
we
asked
to
relocate
inside
and
they
obliged
with
no
problem~
Everything
we
had
was
delicious!
To
start
we
got
the
guac
and
chips,
I'd
come
back
just
for
this~
The
guac
had
a
fresh
taste,
and
the
chips
were
so
fluffy
and
not
overly
salted~
The
Shrimp
Pilin
was
also
really
good,
the
plantain
had
a
good
crunch
and
the
coleslaw
was
crisp
and
flavorful~
My
partner
got
The
King
of
Fish
as
his
entree
and
my
gods
were
we
surprised
♡
It
tasted
as
good
as
it
looked,
so
fancy,
haha~
He
also
enjoyed
the
homemade
sauces,
they
all
had
a
hint
of
spice
with
flavor.
I
got
the
two
shrimp
and
one
fish
taco
and
the
tortillas
tasted
like
when
my
mom
made
them
as
a
kid,
it
brought
back
some
good
memories~
We
finished
with
the
chocolate
empanadas
and
coffee.
They
were
kind
enough
to
offer
some
milk
and
sugar
as
they
served
Americano
coffee.
The
empanadas
were
flaky
and
the
chocolate
was
rich
but
the
ice
cream
helped
cut
the
richness,
just
*Chefs
Kiss*
For
the
drinks,
we
got
the
Pinche
Vato,
El
Niche,
and
Amar
y
Amar.
wasn't
a
huge
fan
of
Amar
y
Amar,
but
it's
my
palette
preference
:)
Our
server
and
I
believe
the
owner/bartender
were
very
accommodating
and
checked
in
on
us
a
few
times,
which
was
very
appreciated.
They
were
informative
of
the
food
and
had
such
joy
in
the
details
♡
They
mentioned
the
have
a
steakhouse
not
to
far
from
them,
King
of
Meat,
and
we
are
definitely
trying
to
plan
around
stopping
by
the
next
time
we
are
in
the
neighborhood
♡
