Outstanding food and two pages of mezcal-based cocktails. Tortillas are made in house and sing oh-so-harmoniously with the sauce, flavor and texture in the best fish taco I have ever tried. The service is a bit confused, but sweet nonetheless. You may get things you didn’t order and did not get things you ordered, but anything that lands on your table will leave you mighty impressed. The highlights are the house guacamole, fish tacos, red snapper in garlic and butter sauce.

I think I found an incredible staple to The Sunset park area. The vibe and energy to this place is amazing. The food is absolutely exquisite and tasty. The tacos and drinks are very authentic and original The Owner Roger is a great guy, he greeted my lady and I with the absolute kindness. If you haven’t been to this beautiful spot you’re missing out because it’s most definitely a gem!

Fish tacos and Chile relleno are excellent! Fish was super fresh. My girlfriend loved her fish and shrimp tacos. Coconut flan - homemade by his wife - is a must must have!

This restaurant got the best food!! Bruh!! I had the salmon burger and my partner the king of fish and octopus taco and it was delicious. The owner was generous and welcoming, gave us free shots. If you love Mexican food made well, please check out this restaurant!!

What a great restaurant. Stumbled across here while staying in Brooklyn and loved everything on the menu. The prices and the portions were perfect. The atmosphere was great and our server knew everything to recommend. We ate it all and the drink selection was the cherry on top of a great meal. It all tasted authentic and homemade with fresh seafood. Highly recommend and will be back again.

Addicted to this place ! Wide selection of mezcals, out of control takes on micheladas, an irresistible menu, and fun and fast service ! My favorites were the aguachile and “king of fish” clamato and valentino michelada. Eugene and Jose were quick with recommendations and our drink orders, which was doubly great because they were also seriously fun guys to hang out with! I also love that the interior has so many features to chat about. If you have a lot of pescatarian friends, you know the area is sometimes a hard sell. I’m looking forward to showing a lot of friends this spot!

Every single dish and drink in this place was amazing. The tostadas sampler and empanadas were delish. Ohh and the drinks are experience to not miss, the uyuyu and the naguare are both mezcal based delish yet strong. Our new favorite neighborhood spot.

Amazing place to eat at! Jose was fantastic at helping us pick out our food. We got the fish and shrimp tacos and the shrimp tostada along with their drinks (strong). Overall, we will absolutely be back!

Me and my partner like to try different restaurants and not all of our experiences are successful, but The King of Fish surpassed our expectations ♡ When we first arrived we wanted to sit in the back. It was cleverly decorated and spacious and we wanted to take in the full ambiance. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly so we asked to relocate inside and they obliged with no problem~ Everything we had was delicious! To start we got the guac and chips, I'd come back just for this~ The guac had a fresh taste, and the chips were so fluffy and not overly salted~ The Shrimp Pilin was also really good, the plantain had a good crunch and the coleslaw was crisp and flavorful~ My partner got The King of Fish as his entree and my gods were we surprised ♡ It tasted as good as it looked, so fancy, haha~ He also enjoyed the homemade sauces, they all had a hint of spice with flavor. I got the two shrimp and one fish taco and the tortillas tasted like when my mom made them as a kid, it brought back some good memories~ We finished with the chocolate empanadas and coffee. They were kind enough to offer some milk and sugar as they served Americano coffee. The empanadas were flaky and the chocolate was rich but the ice cream helped cut the richness, just *Chefs Kiss* For the drinks, we got the Pinche Vato, El Niche, and Amar y Amar. wasn't a huge fan of Amar y Amar, but it's my palette preference :) Our server and I believe the owner/bartender were very accommodating and checked in on us a few times, which was very appreciated. They were informative of the food and had such joy in the details ♡ They mentioned the have a steakhouse not to far from them, King of Meat, and we are definitely trying to plan around stopping by the next time we are in the neighborhood ♡

Very beautiful and well decorated. The bartender explained the menu perfectly. The drinks are amazing!!! Made with lots of passion. I never had rice with 🐙 ink. It tasted amazing! This will be my favorite place to eat in the area.

Wow! Just wow. The drinks are so creative and delightful. The food was out of this world- highly recommend the tuna tostada- fresh and the flavors blended amazingly. Tried baby shark for the first time and it was definitely different but flavorful and went well in the empanada. The staff treated us like family. Will definitely be regulars here!
