Wonderful experience! I'd been axe throwing before while on tour; however my wife hadn't had the opportunity. So we decided to visit NY Axe 🪓 for a little date night (which is rare). The staff was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and dare I say extremely entertaining! We had Rei as are AXEpert instructor who was a complete star - He was fun, playful and most importantly... ensured we were safe and learned how to throw properly. My wife was throwing like a pro by the end of the evening... so I had to quickly switch over to Safe Archery 🏹 (she killed me in that too!). Overall - VERY recommended. Perfect for beginners, intermediate or advanced. **Also if you are feeling randy - you can also toss Ninja Throwing Stars! Extremely cool place. WIN.

I had such an amazing time at NY Axe Throwing!! This was my first time ever axe throwing. Our axepert, Alex D, was an amazing and patient coach. He took the time to get to know us as well. We had a blast! Highly recommend coming here for a good time with friends/ family!

We had the pleasure of working with Andrew S who stayed with us and gave us tips and pointers. He was pleasant to have around. Place was nice and clean. I like that it had additional games, not just the typical targets. We had a lot of fun and can’t wait to go back.

I booked a large private room for a corporate social event at the Farmingdale location. We all had a great time with Alex D as our coach! He made this experience enjoyable for everyone and gave good tips to hit the targets successfully. Lots of games, axes/ninja stars, and friendly competition! We were allowed to order food and drinks to the venue which was a great plus. Definitely recommend for group events!

Alex D was our host and coach and did an amazing job keeping us aware of our positioning and form, as well as getting to know each of us and being a funny, very personable guy. It was our first time doing this and we loved it.

Had a great time here tonight with my group of 4. First time throwing axes and I did fairly well. Until that is, the ninja stars were brought out. It was then I KILLED it with 4 bullseyes and a blue dot!

As a first time Ax Thrower i didn’t know what to expect but this is definitely being added to my date night routine! Not only was it clean and well spaced out but everyone one there was friendly and welcoming! But the real star in this review was our coach Alex! He was helpful, encouraging and had fun with our groups crazy sense of humor! I would recommend him any day of the week if you want to have a great time! This D&D Nerd and her adventuring party will be back to battle zombies!

Phenomenal facility. I've been to a lot of axe throwing venues in NY, NJ, and PA, and this is now surely in my top choices. The axes used are official axes from competition axe throwing. Other places generally use axes that could be sub-par quality, so it makes this experience THAT much better. The integration of the digital screen is actually pretty awesome. The experience doesn't feel stale. They even spray the boards down with water and vinegar so the axes stick better and don't splint the wood. Genius! That's the first time I've ever seen that. James K was our coach and did an amazing job and walked us through every minor detail. It's to note that the coaches stay with you throughout the duration of the throw, no other place I've ever gone to does that. Great staff, amazing experience, and will definitely be back when I'm on Long Island. Thanks again! 🪓 Plus: You can even throw ninja stars.
