If you’re in need of PT I highly recommend Ivy Rehab in Island Park. My therapist Torin Bacon is as encouraging as he is thorough. From the initial meeting with Torin I was confident my therapy would be a success. After the first few sessions I gained a feeling of more independence which is huge after suffering an injury. His knowledge and team leadership continues to give me the momentum for reaching my physical goals. The entire staff works fluidly so no lapse in attention occurs. I’m grateful to have my recovery guided by Torin and this knowledgeable group of therapists.

All the PT therapists I have gone too have been great. Kiersten and Torin, along with the other therapists have been getting my knee back in shape after surgery. It is also just a really nice place to go. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The hour of PT flies by!

Today was my last day at Ivy Rehab and would like to commend my therapist John. Not only was he knowledgeable and skilled at what he does but always gave encouragement and kindness. The entire staff helped out where ever possible. They were friendly and all knew my name even if they did not specifically work with me. Best PT experience ever!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Torin after I sprained my ankle. Torin knew his stuff and was friendly and had a good sense of humor. He checked out my ankle and set up a plan just for me. During our sessions, Torin made sure I understood the root cause of my injury and answered all my questions. He's got this positive vibe that makes therapy sessions enjoyable. Thanks to Torin’s help, I'm back on my feet and feeling much better. If you ever need a great physical therapist, I highly recommend Torin.

I am a senior citizen and was a little apprehensive when my doctor said I needed to go for physical therapy. I am so thankful that I went to Ivy-Island Park. From the minute I walked in the people at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. Then I was met by Torin and taken inside. He explained everything to me and told me what exercises I would have to do. He and the entire staff are so kind and patient, they make me feel as if we are one big family. This warmth continues with every visit.

I have been going to Ivy in Island Park for strengthening my right shoulder prior to shoulder replacement. Everyone there greets me by name and asks how I'm doing ! I am amazed at how much movement and strength I have been able to get. My therapist, Tom not only does a terrific job of helping me physically, but answers all my questions too! I will definitely be back post surgery too!

I’ve been doing my physical therapy for just about a month now at the Island Park location. It has been great working with the staff. All of the staff members are professional and friendly. They are always looking to assist in anyway they can. I was assigned to work with Torin as my physical therapist. Torin has been very helpful and personable as I continue go to my appointments and work towards recovering.

You are looking for someone who knows what they are doing. My first visit, I met with John Finneran the director of Ivy Rehab. The pain I was in was off the charts. John not only reassured me with words that they would help me, but he also explained in detail how they would and that is exactly what they have done. John has a wonderful team working with him. All the therapists are knowledgeable and dedicated to helping you heal. Kayla is a rock star!

I’ve been here a number of times for various surgical rehabs. Ivy’s the best. I usually work with John who’s been fantastic every time. Although it’s a busy rehab site, you’re provided 1:1 time with the physical therapist/ staff. Your time is respected and used efficiently. There’s no standing around waiting for the next exercise. It truly is a well managed site, a place where you’re treated like family.
