My wife and I got lunch here. The service was awesome as we had someone very attentive. The food came out quickly, and everything tasted great! I got a combo of beef brisket and chicken fingers with a side of waffles, and it was all delicious!

I went to NoBull Smokehouse for the brisket and it exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed it as-is, although found the Dakota BBQ and Spicy BBQ sauces to really elevate the flavour. The chicken fingers were tender and very tasty dipped in the NoBull Sauce, which was described by our server as similar to a sriracha aioli. The mac & cheese was creamy and served with two slices of sausage that had some heat. I need to go back the next time I'm in Fargo!

We came here for dinner on a Saturday at 7pm. We ordered almost right away, and our ticket time was 1 hour and 25 minutes until our food arrived. We were almost at the point of leaving. I've heard great things about the food here, but it was very mid. The smokehouse chicken sandwich was good but not great. The mac and cheese was made from scratch but had zero flavor. One of us actually had a hair in the mac and chesse. Our server was very nice and welcoming. That was the best part of our experience. I will probably come back here to give it another shot, but I was disappointed.

NoBull smokehouse has great rib, the meat literally falls off of the bone. I loved the casual environment of the building. It was my first visit here but I felt welcome. The management and staff we're very cheerful and pleasing. When I'm able I will be visiting again.

First time there. The tater tot poutine was incredibly tasty! The sausage that came with the mac & cheese was insane!! Sooooo good! Nice place! Some delicious cocktails. However, play more blues & less Huey Lewis. πŸ€“

Living in Europe, good BBQ is often more dream than reality. The dream comes alive at NoBull. Even though the name was a bit apt as they were out of brisket, the epic smoked chicken more than made up for it. Dense and buttery in places, it was memorably tasty and smoky. What takes the prize is the Dakota BBQ sauce. It was as if South Carolina mustard BBQ sauce and Western Carolina tomato-vinegar sauce eloped and escaped to North Dakota through the Witness Protection Program. Wow this stuff is good. Add in some tater tots, which were great vehicles for mainlining additional sauce. Prices are breathtakingly Democratic for this Republican state. Just come.

As someone who has been running a smoker in his backyard for almost 30 years, I can say, without hesitation this place is GREAT. I went with a group of 5 and was able to sample almost everything--brisket, pulled pork, chicken and even a little sausage. They nailed it all. This place goes light on the rub, and lets the smoke and the meat do the talking. The sides were also stellar, and the atmosphere is exactly what I would want if I owned my own place someday. What a gem, something I never expected to find in an old building in downtown Fargo.

My review is definitely biased. Living in the South, Vinegar based and Mustard based BBQs are huge. For being 500+ miles away from where you find BBQ, I was incredibly surprised by how good it got. I think it was just the day but the pulled pork was slightly dried out, it could have simply been smoked at a high temp too quickly or the shoulder cut was a bit on the lean side. Regardless, it was still pretty good and the bartender knows how to make a good Old Fashioned.

First time in ND, and thought I would try local bbq. Restaurant is clean and good stick of liquor and beer. Brisket cooked perfectly and sausage was good . Ribs tasted as if they’re boiled fist and so they tasted bland. Would come back Again for brisket

The brisket was legit. So tasty. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about BBQ. I usually don't like BBQ sauce, but their mixture of sauces paired really well with the pulled pork

The reason I am giving a 4 is something that some may disagree with. The taste of the food was decent. My main issue is the way they cut the brisket. Brisket should be cut no more than 1/8" thick. The piece on my sandwich is like 1/4" thick. BRISKET should be thin an juicy slice that darn near melts as it touches your tongue. I am may be biasis as I am more familiar with Texas brisket. The sticky ribs were AMAZING...fall off the bone and I had to steal one from the box b4 I went inside becomes someone doesn't know how to share. I got punched for it. WORTH IT

We ate at nobull for dinner last night and it was delicious. Sticky ribs were meaty, flavorful, and fell off the bone. Smoked brisket and pulled pork were wonderful and very high quality. The sausage in the mac and cheese - so good with a nice kick. Creamy Coleslaw was tasty and a nice counter balance to the bbq. Our server was attentive and food arrived quickly and piping hot! Atmosphere was cool and music was blues and southern-fried rock. Outdoor seating is in part of a shipping container out back that looked fun - we'll be coming back when/if the weather warms up!

Overall this place is great. The beans seriously are the best beans I have ever eaten. The service was great. The pulled pork was a little off, but the chicken was phenomenal. I will have to try the brisket next time. Not sure I would try the pulled pork again. If you are on the fence though, you should go. All of the sides we tried were delicious.

The food was good. Pretty dang spicy, but good. Loved the brisket, corn casserole, and the stuffing with gravy. The service was exceptional and friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. We drove from St Cloud to Fargo and it was worth the 2.5 hour drive. The strawberry cheesecake totally drool worthy 🀀

All the food looked great but that's about it. We ordered The Sampler and paid the extra $10 for the brisket to replace the pulled pork. We got one piece of really thick, over cooked brisket. It was falling apart it was so overcooked. The taste was ok but was overdone. The ribs were also overdone and were pretty mushy. They had decent flavor but the texture wasn't good. The sausage was not good at all, we didn't finish that. It had a weird spice in it. The rest of my family ate the chicken fingers and said they were great though. The slaw was fine, the "best beans" were far from the best, almost tasted like chili more than anything. The strawberry cheesecake was really good. All in all I wouldn't go back. Way too expensive for what you get and the food wasn't that great.

I am so glad we ate at this restaurant! There was not one thing on the menu that we ordered that was not the best of what we could find around. All of us in the group are longtime barbecuers and smokers; I would say we know a thing or two about the art. Every meat item we ordered was so smoky and so tender we were practically beside ourselves. The side dishes are a must-have. I am really looking forward to going back. I would like to add that service here was top notch and we didn’t really have to ask for anything extra: we needed drinks, extra items from the menu…the wait staff was right there before we could ask.

I moved from Oklahoma and this place was good for awhile, then I got a couple bad meals during my last 2 visits so I looked for something new. So glad I did!!!! The piggy BBQ is MUCH better, price comparable, full bar and lots of parking!!! Their $40 platter that feeds 2 big eaters is my recommendation. I know this is rude but I wish somebody would have told me

NoBull has some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted. The grilled cheese pulled pork is my favorite! If you've never tried their food go there now πŸ‘

So so so good. Staff was great! Wish I lived closer, I would go all the time!!! Chicken and waffles were to die for!

Great BBQ. The pulled pork had the best smokey flavor I've had in a couple years, second only to Middle Texas BBQ. If you have the Jacks sweet tea be cautious, its a great drink that has great flavor and I could easy get carried away drinking it.

My son asked to come here for his birthday. We had been quite a few times prior to the covid shut down and first time back since the updated menu. The portions looked small for the price, but definitely filling with the side dishes. You can't go wrong with the beef brisket or chicken and waffles. This restaurant never disappoints.
