Disappointment on disappointment. Where to even begin. Don’t spend your money here. Should’ve just stuck with Giano (the best). Pesto was flavorless, some of the worst I’ve legitimately ever had. Come on! Cacio e pepe was gloppy, overly salted, and a terrible flavor. Bread in a bag that was STALE. Pasta itself didn’t taste homemade just dry and bleh noodles. Service was rushed, unfriendly, and seemed intentionally rude at times. A little Italian accent on a rude waiter is still... a rude waiter. Never checked in on us once. Staff were SPRINTING past us all night.. for no apparent reason. Maybe they want to seem busy and stressful while they ignore you? The worst part of all is that the wine pours are very weak, a level not even acceptable at any restaurant no matter how special they think they are. And no wait the worst part was that it was very expensive. $28 for limp dry pasta with flavorless sauce, $26 for congealed mushy blobs of pasta and black pepper, and a few sips of wine. Nah.

This place was waouhhh !! We were a group of 8 and decided to try pretty much everything on the menu. Our favorite pastas were the SPAGHETTI CON POMAROLA, PAPPARDELLE AL RAGU, TAGLIATELLA AL TARTUFO, and TAGLIOLINI AL PESTO (special). For desert would recommend the panna cotta but tiramisu was hype. Everything we ate was delicious and service was great :)

Good spot for Italian eats with indoor and outdoor seating. Notably, the pasta with truffle and the spaghetti with clams were memorable. Also really liked the pork shoulder and zucchini flan appetizers.

Food was great!!! Honestly, one of the best pastas in NYC. Kinda hard to have a conversation inside. The Music is a bit too loud in my opinion.

we got a little bag of bread. Really small for a group of 3 people and also cold. Food came quick, all dishes were tasty but also cold. service meh. waiters weren’t attentive. Hype not deserved. I don’t think I would come again.

Very cute hidden gem in the East Village. The pasta was very fresh and fairly affordable compared to other Italian spots in town. Really enjoyed the truffle pasta… ugh truffle makes everything taste better. Would definitely get that dish again when I’m back.

Small, intimate restaurant where you can get the best handmade pasta in the city! Skip the artichoke appetizer and go straight for the pasta dishes. They are incredible.

there are three main things to keep in mind upon visiting Fiachetteria “Pistoia” and that’s very noisy, servers with a very strong European accents (only mentioning this because of the difficulty of ordering/ understanding the servers with all the noise), and the best homemade pasta in the City. I was in love with being able to see the pasta being made and just the overall ambience of the restaurant was somehow comforting. I was in a gnocchi mood, so of course I ended up ordering the gnocchi in a very light tomato sauce. Out of all the dishes that our group ordered mine was definitely the most underwhelming for $24 you’re just getting homemade gnocchi with red sauce. I would highly highly highly recommend on getting any of the other dishes on the list because all of the others were definitely worth the price because at least they included some thing other than just pasta and sauce. definitely a must if you are a pasta enthusiast!!!! I guess one more thing I would like to add is their wine selection is very limited.

we had a great dinner! The truffle pasta was super delicious and pretty reasonably priced for truffle. The servers were good but they definitely rushed us through dinner. We were asked to order about 5 times in 10 minutes. The wine was very good but not a huge selection. Ambiance is very good. Don’t be afraid to venture towards ave c!

My new favorite Italian restaurant in NYC, and that’s saying a lot! Fiaschetteria Pistoia surprises you from the moment you walk in with its warm ambiance blending industrial and Tuscan influences. We picked a wine from the cute basket and started with the heavenly pappa col pomodoro (a thick Tuscan bread and tomato soup), perfect for a winter night. The pici cacio e pepe was perfectly al dente, but the highlight of the evening was the maccheroni sull’anatra - which might have become my favorite pasta ever with its perfect mix of flavors. I can’t wait to go back! We walked in early (6pm) but reservations are recommended.

Oddly enough the Tagliatelle con Burro was my favorite - delicious Scallopine as well, however, real Italians don’t use cream in Cacio e Pepe. Nonna would’ve slapped your hands! I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience.. from the ambiance, to the authenticity, to the hospitality, to the food! We ordered the burrata and prosciutto to start, the tartufo and duck ragu as our entrées, and the tiramisu and pana cotta as desserts. Will definitely be back to re-order everything we had as well as to try new dishes! Only thing I can say is to COME HUNGRY!!!!!

Showed up on a Tuesday night with no reservation and got a table. Everything is great, but highly recommend the specials. We ended up with a zucchini flan and pasta stuffed with spinach and ricotta. The latter was topped with cheese and broiled to perfection.

Absolutely delicious food. The experience was authentic Italian and very New York at the same time. We had the cacio de pepe, scallopine (veal), and duck ragu, also LOVED the artichoke salad. The house red from Montepulciano was a great pairing - only $50 for a liter. The guancia was very fatty but went well on the focaccia and the tiramisu was cream heavy but still tasty.

Truffle pasta is the ticket. Should have gotten a table but I sat myself down at the bar thinking it would be a quick bite. It’s a little tight but quaint and cozy. The pasta is perfection. Can’t wait to go back

My big homie took me here, so I came in a little nervous! We came in with no res but were seated immediately. The interior of this place feels as if it has been transported straight from Tuscany, which I mean it probably has. Echoing other reviews, it is intimate and charming. Another great date spot fellas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The wine situation is really cool, as the have the bottles right there next to your table and you get to pick from there. The big homie ordered a Chianti for us both, as he said this is local to the region of central Tuscany. He knows his wines. He texted me the following: "That particular Chianti was high in tannins and I'd guessed oaked for about 13-15 months. It resulted in a medium-bodied wine with notable earthy and rustic aromas. The flavor notes most prominent were cherry, strawberry, dried herbs, balsamic vinegar, and smoke." For food, we ordered the prosciutto and both got the Pappardelle Al Cervo (Venison Ragu) as it was a special. The Prosciutto was FANTASTIC, probably some of the best I've had in the city. The pasta was delicious, as you could taste the freshness of the homemade noodles. However, my only complaint was that it was a bit small of a portion size and really didn't fill me up at all. My big bro echoed the same, and we each went and got 2 slices of pizza after.

I got Tagliatelle al Tartufo which is egg pasta with truffle sauce. The pasta was simply delicious. For dessert we got tiramisu and panna cotta. Panna cotta was silky, creamy, and beautifully presented, it was a delightful finale to an already impressive meal. The balance of sweetness and the velvety texture made it a standout dessert.

The pasta with duck was absolutely a train wreck i asked the waiter for their most FLAVORFUL pasta and he referred me to the duck… it was bland… uneventful… underwhelming. However my husband dish was the pasta with beef and that I will give 3 stars. It was okay. Pretty boring pastas not going to lie. I’m genuinely confused on why this place has such high reviews. The burrata was also very much ok.

The food is pretty simple but the quality of the ingredients are incredible. I ordered the tomato/basil soup to start. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of it but it was absolutely delicious. Imagine a tomato soup that is completely reduced. There was literally no liquid sitting at the bottom. Almost like it was left of the stove for too long. But that was the idea and it worked extremely well. I enjoyed every single bite. My girlfriend ordered the zucchini flan to start. She didn't really enjoy it too much but I thought it was good. This appeared to be one of the more complex dishes on the menu. This was a soft and creamy appetizer that melts in your mouth with a nice Parmesan flavor. The consistency/texture was similar to a quiche. Maybe only a little softer. For my main dish, I chose the Cacio de Pepe. I've never tried it before mainly because I prefer other cuisines other than Italian and I haven't gotten around to trying it. I know at this point it's probably considered an overrated dish for some, but it was very tasty and creamy. Think of Pasta Alfredo only MUCH better and with handmade Spaghetti. This was also a very peppery dish (loaded with black pepper). I love black pepper but this may be too peppery for some of you non-pepper lovers. My girlfriend tried the Tagliatelli Tartufo which was the homemade egg pasta with truffle. I definitely recommend this dish but only if you like a nice, strong truffle flavor. It was rich and creamy. I honestly would probably get this dish if I were to ever visit again. For dessert, we shared the tirasmisu and the pannacotta. The tiramisu, which was served in a coffee much, was light and creamy. The pannacotta was my favorite. It was perfectly gelantized and served with a berry compote. The service was good. The restaurant was very busy so the servers and bus boys were clearly rushing in and out (we sat in tent outside). It was a Friday night so I completely understand. The waiters were very nice. The downside about this restaurant is that portion sizes are pretty small. If you are only going for entrees, you may find yourself 7th street burger afterwards. However after 3 courses and a few glasses of wine, and maybe 20 minutes, I felt pretty satisfied. Overall, I rate this place a 7.5 out of 10. 2 appetizers, 2 mains, and 2 desserts + 1 bottle of Chianti + Tip came out to $111.5/person. I'm not sure if I will go out of my way to come back here but it's a nice place for a date night for sure. Enjoy!

We decided a bit last minute to do a walk in, and wow we didn’t regret that at ALL! We had the prosciutto san daniele for appetizer and a cacio y pepe and maccheroni sull’anatra (duck ragu) for mains. All mains were exceptionally good, the fresh pasta is incredible, and every dish was well balanced. Highly recommend stopping by!!

The pastas were really good, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was cool and the staff really friendly. We waited outside ~20mn even with a reservation. However the portions were a bit small, and it’s a bit pricey.
