I have to say, this restaurant is remarkably delicious. The food was amazing and the desert was out of this world! I highly recommend.

Favorite Thai place by far! The food is always great and the staff are really friendly. Whether you eat in or get take out you’re going to be happy- the take out portions are more than generous too. I recommend corn fritters and the Pad Thai dish.

One of my favorite restaurants in Hackettstown! Every time I come I try something new and I’m always very impressed. On my most recent visit I tried the Masaman Lamb Shank. It was absolutely delicious.

Went out with the family on a rainy Saturday night. I was expecting a good taste because of the reviews and it does not disappoint. We started out with the house sampler which included 2 eggrolls, chicken, dumplings and 2 empanadas(prob called something else tho). Initially we thought we were getting the Pandan Room Sampler but the waitress messed up. The waitresses might mess up Becuz it gets very busy. Only had 2 waitresses and the host helping out from what I saw. Otherwise the sauce with each app was delightful. For the main course I got the Panang Seafood Noodle Dinner with Medium heat. This dish was amazing Becuz their was a variety of seafood and the sauce complemented the seafood very nice. It was creamy and not to pastey. I couldn’t finish the rice noodles tho. The fam and I finished with the Java lava cake which tasted like it was cooked the day before; I thought it tasted rubbery. The peanut butter rolls are the dessert not to get. It’s an egg roll with just peanut butter. What saved the dessert was the raspberry sauce with both desserts. If that sauce came with icecream I would’ve gotten 2 orders. Hope you enjoy this review. Weekend dim sum is not to be missed! Such a tasty variety and lovely setting. It’s my favorite spot to enjoy lunch with my mom when in the area for a visit. Don’t sleep on the coconut shrimp spring rolls, the beef satay, the chicken curry puff, and the pork shumai.

So hard to choose with so many amazing options. The food was tasty and looked appealing to the eyes. Would highly recommend checking them out.

Nice Thai inspired restaurant. Quick service, menu with alot of choices. Many vegan options to choose from. Corn fritters were good and vegan wings also.

I came here for the first time and all I can say I s wow. The food was excellent, and our server Ashley was also fantastic- she recommended to me the Vietnamese Porkchop which was absolutely out of this world. All in my party were beyond satisfied and we have resolved to come back soon! I can’t wait to try more of what is offered!

I came across this spot for lunch and ordered the Singaporean Mae Fun lunch special and it came to a little over $8. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I couldn't tell where the entrance was at first but I found it. I walked in and after the lady finished her call with a customer, she gave me my food and I paid and left. When I got in I ate and I didn't particularly care for the dish. I didn't like the flavors too much. All in all I had an ok experience.

Pandan Room is one of my favorite restaurants for Asian food! They have very good vegan options listed, but you can also ask for dishes to be made vegan. The vegan wings are amazing! Honestly everything I’ve had here has been great. :)

We came on a busy Saturday evening. The service can be improved. Also, just because I was asking for a to-go box, doesn't mean that I am asking for the check :) As an Indonesian, I would love for the Bak Cang, Nasi Goreng, and Rendang to have stronger flavor. The 3 dishes are closer to Malaysian, imo. I will go back and try the Thai food so fingers-crossed for future changes on the ratings.

Had another lovely night dining in today! We've been fans for years, but never got around to reviewing the location. The quality, portions and taste of food is always amazing! Super accommodating when it comes to changes. I also personally suggest asking for Ashley if you stop in! She knows the entire menu by heart and can suggest and recommend for those trying to decide! She literally memorized my last minute part of 8's entire order without even writing it down, appetizers and all! Shes also Super funny and personable! Between service and food I'd absolutely recommend 👌

Great south east asian food. Kitchen is staffed with indonesian cooks. So, the food is excellent. I enjoy the Beef Rendang and the Curry Puffs. If you are into "hot", ask for the chilli padi sauce when you get your food. The restuarant also offers many items on its lengthy menu that agree with the western palate.

From grandma to grown children we agree the quality of the food at Pandan Room is excellent. Eat in or take out, both good options. The lemongrass chicken, pad Thai chicken, assorted appetizers were specially good this time. Also, I’ve taken a cooking class here and now make some dishes at home.

I ordered the Massaman lamb shank. And it was incredible. I am a foodie. And I will say that if I were on death row, and had a choice of a final meal, this would be it. It was outstanding. The lamb was tender. The sauce was unbelievable.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. Went for the first time last (haven’t been since about a year ago) and I was truly disappointed. The flavor of the food is delicious but the quality has gone down incredibly. I ordered the basil garlic scallops. The scallops were rock hard, deformed in shape and not even edible. I obviously complained and the owner quickly brought another order of scallops that were pretty much the same. I did not eat them. In years past the owner was always part of the pleasurable experience and very welcoming and usually engaged in conversation. This time it was as if I was bothering him with my dinner complaint. And the restaurant wasn’t even half full at this point. The restaurant is going down hill and as much as I love the taste of the food, the quality and customer service is not an enjoyable experience. And it’s extremely overpriced for what you get…..EXTREMELY. You’d honestly get a much better meal at longhorn or chilis.

Food here is incredible! Cozy place and staffs are very friendly. I’ve been recommending friends and family to come here.

One of my local favorites in northwest NJ! I have dined in and gotten take out, and the food is top quality each time. The menu has an impressive variety of usual Thai favorites, with much more unique dishes beyond that. I could eat here every day and not get bored! Many excellent appetizers that are accompanied by delicious sauces. I hope to one day try every entree on the menu because they’re amazing! I can’t come here without getting Thai tea. I will certainly return again and again.

My sister took me here last night for my birthday (she has been raving about this place for years) The avocado salad we had was out of this world, the House appetizers were very good also. It went downhill from there. The soup was suppose to be coconut and lemongrass but tasted like plain chicken broth. We let them know and the women came over with her own spoon and tasted my sister's soup (very unprofessional)said it was missing lemongrass. She remade the soup after 2 attempts it was ok. Pad Thai then came out and it was sour tasting. My sister has had it before and she said it was sour too and didn't taste as it always has in the past. Again we let her know. She was so rude and nasty she took our plates and came back with voided bill and a container for the soup and said take your stuff and leave I voided out your bill. Needless to say I won't be going back there again, not to mention we drove over an hr to go eat there. Never have I had management talk to me like that or taste my food. Unbelievable

My husband and I have only gone here for dim sum - their selections change sometimes but there's always something available that we like. Some options are a little strange but the classic dim sum dishes are always very yummy. We were going almost every weekend for a while around Christmas and they had cute decorations up and were playing holiday music, it was just really cute and cozy inside. It's kind of a small place but it doesn't feel congested or anything.

Fanatic food and service. The staff here is funny, attentive, and makes solid recommendations. The food is served piping hot and fresh. I get take out from pandan a lot. Went there tonight with family and everyone was extremely pleased. Avocado salad was huge and enough for a few people to share as an appetizer. Vegan and vegetarian options are great.

First time here. The waitress was very nice and made us feel welcome. I love how the loose tea is brought over in a small tea kettle (it stays hot). The Thai Iced Tea was okay. My husband and I ordered the papaya salad and Tom Kha soup to start, which were really good. The Pad Thai had too much sauce and the chicken and shrimp were rubbery and tasted old. The Chicken Cashew was okay, but the chicken didn't taste fresh either. Portions were big. Overall, there were some hits and misses.
