The eye examination was fine but the staff at lens crafter was pathetic and rude. I haven’t experienced such bad experience at any place so far.

The Dr. was good my appt. was at 5 after work. Wanted contacts for the first time, but was advised that they only do fitting M-F, 11-4 p.m.. Even though they close at 8 p.m. and are open 7 days a week. Something about having enough technicians even though there were 3 present. So maybe next year for contacts. Thank you !

On time, efficient, and professional. I went in for a contact fitting and they also did an eye exam and told me to come back to get dilated soon! Def will return, conveniently located in the mall! I knew exactly what I wanted and I got it!

Everyone in the office is very helpful and explains everything in full. They allow you to ask questions and explain everything in terms that you’ll understand. They’re also not pushy with purchasing next door, they allow you to take your script and go else where if you want.

Dr. Alice Chen was very good with my husband chris at trying to get my prescription straightened out when two other practices in Secaucus messed them up fitted me for contacts that were trying to see which brand is best , took time with me too make things good hopefully it will work out and my headaches will sudside , thanks chris o.

Quick and easy check in process, exam was quick as well because I had no issues. Got my scripts, paid my copay and went about my day. In and out in 30min, love it.

Dr Chen is great! She’s a great listener and was absolutely patient with our 4yo who had to come along with us! The staff is friendly, clear, and efficient.

I have been going to CitiLight Optometry for a few years now. Dr. Chen is great, very attentive and always takes time to explain things. The staff is also pleasant and helpful. My appointments have always been quick and easy. I love the convenience of walking over to Lens Crafters to get my prescription filled and have a good relationship with the staff there, as well. I would highly recommend Citilight.

The eye examination was good and I enjoyed the whole experience with doctor. But the staff at front door was rude to my boyfriend. He was asked to leave when he was waiting for me at the front door. And since the staff required a real card to pay and I'm used to Apple pay and only had my phone with me, I called my boyfriend back to help. The staff insisted that he must show his ID to prove he owns the card. We have been living in NY&NJ for years, honestly speaking, it is the first time we were told to prove we own our card when paying as if we just stoled it somewhere else. The important thing is that it is my bf who recommended me to have examination here, or I wouldn't even know this place. But he was treated like that.

Both doctors that helped me were extremely nice and professional. They made me feel really comfortable and explained everything very well. I will definitely recommend this location to everyone I know.

I felt very comfortable having all of my eye exams today. It was a hassle-free process from the waiting area and front desk to the exam rooms. Everyone was courteous and professional. I adore Dr. Alice Chen, and I am happy that she prescribed eye drops and explained -- without admonishing me -- that I will need to be consistent in administering them daily. I have gone there for years and liked the place a lot. However recently they do not return phone calls and do not answer emails. Calling multiple times during their business hours all I ever get is no answer and then their message service. Leaving a message does no good, no return call.

I am deeply grateful to my Optician for discovering the tear in my right retina. I went to the recommended Ophthalmologist and he decided to operate immediately. Thankfully Cigna was cooperative (!) and I underwent last surgery to fix the area to the back of the eye and prevent the tear from leading to anything worse. It was all completed by 6:00pm. Now onto the contact lenses...!

The doctor was very professional, and seems trustworthy as far as vision care goes.

Absolutely wonderful. I was in pain when I arrive, however the prescription given was great. It cleared up my sight in minutes and took the pain away. The staff is professional, courteous and patient. They always treat me like family and I love it!

Been going to Citilight for several years now. The office is efficient and seems well run. My appointments have been on time. I've never been pressured to buy glasses from the optician next door. My experience with Dr Chen has always been positive. She is efficient and friendly in doing routine eye exams.

Mrs. Chen is excellent. She thoroughly goes over everything explaining any issues you may have. The wait time was non existent. Got there about 10 minutes early and was out within 20 minutes.

Doctor was lovely and the experience was quick and easy. However, the office staff were rude and unprofessional. It was a reminder the same attitude happened last year. Not sure I want to come back to leave in a bad mood from being treated rudely and being around the negativity from a simple eye exam.

This is my fourth time in the past three years that I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Alice Chen. I have had optometry services for 50 years now, and I believe Dr. Chen and the whole staff at Citilight are the best I've experienced. When I called to make the appt., the receptionist pulled my record within seconds, so I didn't have to go through my history, past appointments (the most recent almost a year ago), or navigate insurance bureaucracy at all -- and when I appeared in person, I was immediately taken to the exam room and saw Dr. Chen within minutes of arriving. What an pure joy! I wish all my healthcare appointments were as smooth and efficient. Dr. Chen is focused, clear in her explanations (though my situation is complicated), and compassionate in her very human interaction with me, especially today when I was fearful about the prospects for my eye health. I am so grateful and very impressed with the Citilights.

Worst experience! I have been wearing glasses since more than a decade. I went there in May the Doctor kept changing my number of glasses and lenses like I am a laboratory experiment. In this process I had to change the lenses of my glasses 3 times. Fourth times I had to tell her to give my previous number back. She literally copied the number on my glasses and gave it to me. What’s the machine for? Whats the use of doctor if I had to go through such trial and finally get my old number? Why so much confusion? If the doctor has to ask you what works the best - what’s the use of doctor’s knowledge? How can a patient find a solution for such critical stuff? I am still facing the issue. I lost my money on lenses and clinic. This place should be banned strictly. Period!!

This is a very nice and respectful establishment. All the employees from the doctor, administrave assistant were attentive. My one and only stop for eye care.
