I have been a patient with Dr. Wu for two years now and can honestly say that she dramatically changed my perception of going to the gynecologist for the better. She helped me through an issue that plagued me for years of my life, and for that I will forever be grateful. Each appointment I leave with all of my questions answered and at ease. I no longer live in the city but I will continue to make the drive because all other doctors that I’ve seen don’t come close to her level of care, bedside manner, patience, and expertise. I had an annual exam. Scheduling the appointment was easy; rescheduling was easy too. The check-in process was simple as the office had my details on file. Dr. Wu is an excellent physician. She provided several recommendations for follow-up based on my medical history and results.

While I have great respect for Dr. Wu's medical expertise, I believe that the effectiveness of an entire medical team is vital. Unfortunately my recent experiences with Dr. Wu's office have been concerning. Out of approximately 20 calls, I would say I get someone on the other line one time. Despite my attempts at varying times and even on the same day, the majority of my calls result in a recorded message stating the office hours, with no option to leave a voicemail. This lack of accessibility has become a significant issue for me as someone deeply committed to my health and well-being. As a conscientious patient, I hold the belief that consistent and reliable communication with the healthcare team is integral to my overall care. Unfortunately, I have been unable to establish this vital connection for several months, and this ongoing situation has left me feeling frustrated and concerned about the continuity of my healthcare.

I have been a patient of Dr. Christine Wu for at least 15 years. She has always been extremely professional and yet very caring and knowledgeable. I know I am well taken care of! Her staff is always welcoming and helpful. I have been recommending her for years to friends and family.

Dr. Wu is the best gynecologist I've had. I wish I would have known about her sooner. I had my first appointment after years of avoiding seeing a gynecologist. I brought up multiple issues / concerns I was having. She took them seriously. Dr. Wu prescribed medications for what she could treat, explanations on what she couldn't, and gave practical solutions for the things she couldn't help with medically. She weighed the pros and cons of each medication analytically. She is the first doctor who heard that I had mood swings before a cycle, and listened. Then gave scientific reasons on how certain birth controls won't or will help (along with what medications outside of birth control will help). She was kind, thorough, and professional. I can't say enough positive things. We need more doctors like Dr. Wu.

I have been going to Dr WU for pretty long time and she is such a lovely and caring patience doctor. She will take time to listen and not rush you like some doctor will. If you have any concerns, she is there for you. She would let you know that if anything wrong with you. She will definitely lead you on the right track. I had referred my best friend to Dr WU and she love her work.

She is super professional the moment she walks into the room. For someone who has always been nervous going to the Gynecologist, she makes me feel comfortable always. It was my first time visiting Dr. Wu since moving here to Philly. My visit was so pleasant and she made me feel comfortable. She was very attentive and detailed orientated. Jenny at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, the office is clean and pleasant. The only downside is that she is so popular and hard to get an appointment sooner! Horrendous bedside manner. I had been surprised at prior comments from previous patients praising Dr. Wu's bedside manner and kind disposition, but at my appointment just a few days ago, I saw nothing of the sort. I have been struggling with chronic pelvic and abdominal pain since early this year, and I had been hoping seeing a well reviewed specialist would ease my worries. Unfortunately, I was mistaken with this particular practice. At my appointment, Dr. Wu was uncaring, cold, and made various gestures at leaving the room when I began to express emotion and outwardly cried. She had said, verbatim, that she was "not going to throw me a pity party" in relation to my symptoms and my pain, that she had "many women contact her office with my symptoms, and not all of them have been able to see her." As though I should have simply been grateful just to be seen by her. I do not doubt Dr. Wu's expertise, but she falls flat in her assertion that she is giving utmost medical care, while also finding good bedside manner to be mutually exclusive. Throughout my appointment, Dr. Wu was degrading, unempathetic, and despite her insistence on being so, she did not help me feel as though that was the case. My advice is: If you want a doctor who will assert she is giving utmost care while finding bedside manner to be exclusive from that criteria, then Dr. Wu is for you. If you would rather have a doctor you feel as though is both actively listening and giving you substantial care, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I leave Christine Wu's office feeling grateful that she is my doctor. She validates my concerns and takes them into consideration when discussing treatment. I feel heard, and lucky because not everyone has that experience. Thank you Dr.Wu
