A Brand new, Spacious and beautiful Facility. A Gym, a beautiful Swimming pool, indoor and outdoor Basketball Court, Roller Skate 🛼 Rink… Ongoing work going around the facility inside and out. Very welcoming front desk agents that walked me through the registration steps quickly. That’s what I saw so far…. Coming back for more..

DO NOT REFER TO THE CITY'S POOL SCHEDULE. CALL FOR HOURS. Hats off to the director Phillip Blackwell for running an amazing community facility. Until he's given authority over the website, call for hours or familiarize yourself with their online reservation system (CivicRec) which requires a login, but allows you to see and reserve classes and open swim spots. Parking is free and the staff are very friendly. Nice walking/running track elevated indoors above the pool, weight area and basketball court. Reasonable assortment of cybex style weight equipment in good condition. There are fitness classes and activities available for youth and adults and while there's no cost to enter, some classes require a fee. Pool day passes are a very reasonable $2 per person and there are clean locker rooms with showers to change and rinse. Pool is very kid friendly but children must pass a swim team to use the larger and deeper pools. They must be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool without touching the sides or bottom of the pool. The kid's pool area is less than 2 feet deep and has sprinklers to play in. Neither the small slide nor the large slide for the deep end were working as of February 2023. Deep end has a neat little climbing wall with 2 short overhanging routes that are V0/V1 maybe 5.6/5.7 even wet.

Nice and modern. Also great for holding events. Pool open all year round, with a slide and rock climbing wall. Nice football field. Multipurpose field being developed. Check it out if you live in the area.

Nice place to work out. Staff has all been really friendly, no issues with checking in. Seem to have lots of classes/programs as well as a pool with waterslide, workout equipment, and an indoor track.

Great Baltimore City fitness center and pool. I swim here regularly and it's a nice facility with usually open lanes. The only quirk is that you can't put your personals in the lockers in the locker rooms, you have to take them with you to the pool deck. Other than that, this is a great place to swim for 2 dollars a session.

This new recreational center is great. I love the location. I am all for new technology and opportunities for the community. The center has some amazing features and view. Can’t wait for the community to enjoy it like I have.

Mids. They close the courts for any reason: one min it’s because the floors can’t be dirtied and the next min it’s because there have been shootings. Yet the white prople can use it for volleyball. Really lame. Though BMore was about more than that… the lockers don’t work here either…

A beautiful building but the staff is selective about who is welcomed. I was watched from the time I came in. Followed into the locker room and told I couldn't trim my mustache. A few minutes later someone came in when I came out the shower and asked if I needed help. I don't expect and neither will I tolerate harassment. I am 67 years old and have worked out all my life. I was a Division 1 athlete in college and have been in the fitness business for 40 years. On the other hand the Cahill center staff was welcoming. The staff at James McHenry are also commendable for the ability to welcome all Baltimore residents without the personal insecurity.

Me and my daughter went to the grand opening. They had a whole passport theme where you had to visit all the different areas of the facility and participate in activities. We did yoga, played basketball, created a charge with Play Doh and some connectors, walked the track on the second floor, and more. The future is promising for this facility. I'd love to connect with the head person in charge at this facility to talk about a partnership with Vegan SoulFest 2023 scheduled for August 2023. Someone please contact me so we can further discuss. Thank you so much!

Staff doesn't know anything about the Free 99 campaign from when it was started. Asked me for a membership card I was never offered previously. Uses scented lysol product to clean gym equipment so if you have allergies to such beware.

Excellent atmosphere with state-of-the-art exercise equipment. Great time to be had by all! Grandson stated that he'll return again & again!

They really outdid there self here. Brand new gym, three inside pools with slide and a tract that wraps around the whole upstairs of the building. And let's not forget about the inside basketball court and the four basketball courts outside. And it's CLEAN

😠 Wow I've been waiting for this moment. I remember when planet fitness on Charles Street first opened up I was one of the original members. Before taking sick and had to leave. Now I'm at the white people no longer running it. In the community and neighborhood does not look like it used to. Now that...

😠 I filled out a recent survey and one of your employees sent me a rebuttal in regards to what I said on the survey. That action alone, frustrates a fair terms contract. For community relations, your gym doesn't provide discounts to veterans, disabled, or any civil or public servants who are Baltimore...
